I smile at my screen and jump up leaning over the table.

"Gimme the gummy bear!" I snatch the whole bag and sit back in my corner.

*Thomas* 

Peggy ended up being dead the entire time. So she lost by default. 

jk jk 

But Peggy did end up loosing so she was thrown in the snow. She scrambled up and then ran to hug Maria who pushed her away cause she was cold. We had a good laugh. Peggy was wrapped in a blanket and given hot cocoa.

Afterward, we all just chilled cause we all eventually sugar crashed so we were all tired. The sister showed us to our rooms. Alex and I had a room with two small twin beds. I went to my small suitcase in the corner and chucked out a few things before I found my Eeyore stuffed animal and P.J's. Alex crouched beside me and reached his hand out. 

"Gimme the Eeyore so I can put it on your bed." 

I smiled and nodded handing him the stuffed animal. 

"I call first shower!" I screech, running to the bathroom. 

It's a  nice big bathroom with a shower and a separate bathtub. I turn on the shower to the hottest setting and let it warm up while I make sure that I have a towel and my P.J's. 

I stripped my clothes and stepped into the hot shower, it burned my skin slightly but I grew accustomed to it soon. 

I reached my hand out and dried it on the towel before starting some music on my phone. 

Too Much to ask By Niall Horan came on. 

I smiled as I remembered the snowy day I shared with Alex. 

I started humming and singing to the song. 

The house is quiet when I leave the humid bathroom with my phone clutched tightly in my hand. My dirty clothes are stuffed beneath my arm. I walk back to the room Alex and I share. He's set up at a  little desk in the back corner of the room. 

For once he isn't typing on his laptop, he has a piece of paper out, writing in neat cursive along the white sheet. 

I sneak up behind him and hug his shoulders lightly. He jumps a little but turns around and hugs me back. He pulls back and smiles a tired smile. 

"You need to go to bed Lex." My eyes squint in worry and concern. 

"I need a shower." He smirks knowing he has a reason to not go to bed. 

"The bathroom is empty. Go take a bath." 

He keeps his soft smile and tilts his head as if he is really considering it. 

"Okay fine."  My eyes widen. He was actually going to relax...
"But-" 

I raise my eyebrow. Of course, there's a catch. 

"You have to join me." His voice drops to a low tone and he smirks as I blush red. I push him back and swat him with my dirty shirt. 
 
"No, you pervert!" He laughs and pulls me in another hug. 

"I'm joking you lugnut. I'll go take a shower, but then I really gotta finish what I was working on before I was rudely interrupted." He says the last part playfully as he attempt to tickle my sides. 

I laugh and jerk away, pushing him out of the bedroom door and towards the still steamy bathroom. 

He grabs a towel on his way to the bathroom and disappears behind a closed white door. 

I smile and sigh glancing over at his desk. 

I decide to not be nosy and plop down into the squishy twin bed, cuddling up to my Eeyore.

Alex finishes his shower fairly quickly He walks in the room and grabs a pair of P.J's seeing as he didnt get any before he left to take a shower. 

Once he's dressed his walks over to me and kisses my cheek. 

"Go to bed Tom. You're tired." He runs a hand through my wet curly hair smiling gently down at me. 

"So are you. Why don't you go to bed." He sighs. 

"Cause I have something I'm working on." He pauses and thinks for a bit before speaking again. 

"How about we cuddle until you fall asleep and I might fall asleep then?" 

I consider this. 

"mmk." 

He nods and pulls the cover over me and making sure I'm cuddled with Eeyore and my headphones are playing my music before he climbs in next to me and wraps his arms tightly around my chest. 

The weight of his arm holding me comforts me and I feel my eyes get heavier until they close and I hum out softly to a song and lay in a mindless peace. 

I can hear Alex's breathing behind me and I can feel his warmth and let these things lead me to sleep. 

My last thought was hoping Alex got to bed before it was too late for him to get quality sleep. 

*Alex* 

Thomas drifts slowly to sleep and I take in the smell of his cologne. 

Once he's asleep I slowly creep out of the covers and graze my hand over his cheek one last time before going back to my desk with the sheet of paper and my pen. 

I slid down into the wooden seat and reread the words neatly scrawled out on the page. 

I was working on a gift for Thomas. A special one. 

Currently, I was working on the long letter. I had so much to say to him. I hadn't done much for him and I wanted to do more. 

I just don't know how.

Hopefully, I figure it out while writing this letter. 

I looked back at my sleeping Angel and warmth rises in me and I can't help but smile. 

He frets and worries and bases his life on hypotheticals and what-ifs and no one knows from the outside. 

When he sleeps is the only time he isn't burdened with all of his troubles. He can get away from the what ifs. 

I pray to whatever god there is that I'm not one of his what-ifs.
