What lead you to Wattpad?

Funny story! I was on my phone on safari looking for Lam's fanart and I looked up

Lams Angst
Cause I was in a mood;.; and found a story on Wattpad and ever since then I've been with wattpad.

What inspired you to make this book?

Um... well.. I was reading a book called " One less pill" and I was reading it and I was like,

This writer was able to make me feel the same way the People in the book felt and had some good angst and I was like, I wanna be able to that. To write that well. So I drew up a plan for this book and started writing. Mainly to challenge me to write better.

Who's your favorite character in this book?

I think Thomas because Thoams is a reflection of me. Just his thoughts the way he feels and how he acts is basically how I act. I wrote him that way because everyone assumes Thomas is the one who is fine and Alex is the one who is broken and that's how it is with me. everyone thinks I'm perfectly okay but I'm not. Surprisingly. That's how I knew to write Thomas so well. He's me.

That's got deep and cheesy I'm sorry.

I love seeing how happy Thomas is. Decorating the tree he had such a bright smile. Curled up to me, and me holding him tight a peace settled. 

But don't think I don't see how John looks at him. 

The angry looks, the scowls, his absent stares. 

I love John like a brother, I hate that he doesn't like Thomas. Or tolerate him. 

I hate that I have to choose between my lifelong best friend and the love of my life.

"Lex?" Thomas brings my mind back to reality. 

"Mh?? What's wrong Hun?" He keeps a straight face but I can the blush rising. I mentally smirk. He is such as soft boy.

"You spaced out a bit. I got worried." He smiles and so do I. 
"I'm fine hun. Just thinkin."
"That's never good." He frowns a bit. 
"I'm fine love. I'm thinkin about how happy you look." 
"Christmas is my favorite holiday. " He flashes me another one of his bright smiles. 

I laugh and pull him close. 

"Lover birds! Come on. I want food and ya'll are holding us up." John snaps as he pulls his coat on. 

Thomas tenses underneath my hands and anger rise in me. 

Thomas stands up and rushes to put on his coat. He slinks out the door to the car shrinking under John's glare, who is still learning my the door. 

I pause by the door. 

"Le- uh, um... Alexander...ready?" My anger grows. 

"Yeah. Give me a sec?" He nods and walks to my car. 

"John," I say firmly. He looks to me with a bored face. 

"Mhm?" 
"What is your problem?!" 
"Look, I don't know what you are talking about. I want food so let's go." He starts walking out of the door but I get there before him and slam the door shut leaning against it. 

"No. I want to talk about this. What the hell is wrong with you huh?! You look at Thomas like he is some animal that doesn't belong! Like a wolf in sheep's clothing. He's not going to bite you! He can barely say a word without the fear of something going wrong! He's broken and we keep trying to glue him back together but you keep breaking him down. What's up with that!?" 

He stands there. With a bored look. 

I want to wipe that smug look of his face. 

"Look, I just don't understand it. Okay? That's it. You bully him to the brink of suicide and then all of a sudden, you love him?" 

"Yes!, John. Yes. Because I just barely fixed it all and I became a friend to him. And it grew into something else. So yes. I ruined him. I made him the way he is. But I love him." 

He looks like he is in utter and complete shock. 

"Ya know, why would you want to be with someone who depends on his every waking movement for you to be there to save him.-" 

"Because he is such an amazing person, he's handsome, he's funny, and he is perfect! And because I need him." 

"Oh, so you don't need me!?" 
"I never said that John!" 
"Yeah. You didnt. But you didnt have to. When was the last time you hung out with m-" 
"Last we-" 

"Without him there!" 
"You know his name." My voice dropped and I jabbed my finger to his chest. I was pissed. 
"I know." 


"So don't you dare act like its a waste of your time to say it." 
"I. Hate. Him-" 

It happened quickly. 

The word hate flew out of his mouth and my hand flew to his face. 

He held his cheek with such a shocked face. 

"I never thought, my best friend... I think... would hit me." 

"John I-" 
"Don't act like you all of a sudden care for me. You don't care. Not anymore. Oh, and by the way, you haven't hung out with me without Thomas there for 6 months." 

"John, I love him, and I love yoou like a brother so why do you hate him so much?" 

He looked down and silence rung out through the big house. 

When he finally looked up at me again he lunged forward.



And I froze. 

I went limp. 

I jumped back. 

He had tears running down his cheeks slowly. 

"H-how could you, John. " My eyes were tearing up now. 

"Alex-"

"Ya know what. I'm hungry. I'm going to lunch with the rest of our friend group...and my Boyfriend whom I love. Okay? Great. Okay." I walk out of the door into the cold air. My tears disappearing. I see my wonderful boyfriend sitting smiling in my car and I smile brightly. 

I jump in the front seat of the car and I lean over and kiss him with all my love. 

"What was that all about?" 
"Nothin. I love you." 

"I love you too Lex."
