I went to your funeral today, surrounded by faces filled with grief and memories of a life lived fully, of a soul that touched countless lives with its warmth and grace. The church was filled with people who loved you, whose lives you touched with your kindness and compassion, with your unwavering belief in the goodness of others. I wanted to tell your family how much you meant to me, how you were the light that guided me through the darkest nights, how your presence in my life was a gift I never took for granted. But the words felt hollow without you there to hear them, a eulogy of regrets and what-ifs that haunt my waking hours as I come to terms with the finality of your absence. But why do you have to go forever?
