You're my best friends, you know
Hello everyone! Just a heads up though, this might be the last chapter for this book because I really want to focus on another book I'm doing. I mean, it won't be gone forever. Here's what I'm thinking: Once I finish my first super serious book, I could head back to writing this one, if I come up with other stories. But anyways, hope you enjoy!

"Welcome to today's soccer tournament in Violet Town's one and only soccer stadium! It's the Roaring Arcanines Vs. the Ambitious Ampharos! Last quarter, begin!"
The crowd cheered as the referee blew his whistle and the match started. They got slightly annoyed when an amber-eyed boy named Gold was shoving his way through the crowd, trying to find an empty spot for him and his friend Silver to sit.
"Hey, uh...where exactly did Crystal's mom tell us to meet?" Gold asked. His attention was partially divided into watching the game, balancing Aibo on top of his head, and making sure his soda didn't spill from his cup.
"Over here, boys! I got some spots for you!" Mirei waved her hands, signaling them to sit down.
"Thanks."
As Gold placed his soda cup on the bleachers, he saw that Crystal's team, the Roaring Arcanines, had scored.
"Go Crystal! Wooooo!" Gold stood up on the bleachers and started waving at her.
Crystal's teammates were slightly distracted by Gold's act of encouragement, letting the opposing team score.
"Hey Crys, next time, don't let your boyfriend distract us from the match." spat Jocelyn, the leader of the team.
"B-boyfriend?! No, it's nothing like that..."
Silver was also getting pretty annoyed by Gold, and he was only there to watch Crys' soccer match.
"Gold, turn it down a little."
Mirei stepped in.
"Don't worry about, it. Look, Crys' team has the ball again."
Jocelyn was the one with the ball, shifting it from one foot to another, to prevent the other team from getting it.
"Jocy! Over here!" Jocelyn's friend waved, signaling that she was open.
She passed the ball to her friend, Jenna, and was a few yards away from the goal.
Just as she was about to kick the ball, she was suddenly blocked by a person from the other team.
Jenna didn't know what to do. She was looking around the field, and saw that Crystal was the only one open.
"KICK IT!"
The ball flew from one end of the field to the other, and Crystal, with perfect timing and strength, kicked the soccer ball directly to the goal, surprising the goalie.
The bleachers that had Roaring Arcanine fans stood on their feet and cheered. They had won the match.
The Ambitious Ampharos stood speechless for a minute, accepting defeat. Meanwhile, the winning team were hugging each other, jumping up and down, but they realized someone was missing.
Crystal had run to the opposing team, and she congratulated them because she said the match was really fun.
Jocelyn had obviously noticed by now. She began whispering something to the other teammates, and when Crystal had returned, they hoisted her up, and carried her off to the changing room.
"That's so nice of Crys' teammates. To carry her off into the changing room like that, so nice." Gold said. Then he chugged down the last of his soda.
"No, something's wrong. Did you see the way Crys' teammates looked at her when she was talking to the other team?"
Silver saw everything. The gossiping, although he couldn't hear what they said to each other.
"Yes, and I think those girls are doing something bad right now." Mirei said. "I'll check the changing room to see if everything is good."
Meanwhile, nothing good was going on in the changing room.
As the triumphant soccer team entered the changing room, they still carried Crystal on their shoulders.
"Guys! You can put me down now!" Crystal laughed.
Jocelyn and her friends nodded, and they threw her against one of the lockers.
Crys put her hand up to her face to cover the giant gash that had formed under her cheekbone.
"Look, girls, she's now gonna look like her Arcanine. Ha ha. How ironic, isn't it?" Jenna pointed out.
"W-what was that for?" Crystal exclaimed. Blood was pouring down her face.
"GIRLS, GIRLS! CUT IT OUT IN HERE!" Mirei glared at the girls and they backed away. She then rushed over to check on her daughter.
"Let's get outta here..." Jocelyn and the rest of her friends quickly ran out of the locker room.
***
Gold and Silver were waiting outside of Crystal's house.
"Man...Did you see that giant gash that was under her eye?" Gold said. He started sipping on his soda cup.
"Yeah...Hope she's okay..." Silver replied. That last comment made Gold choke on his soda.
"Y-you're WORRIED about her?"
"Of course I am. She's my friend." Silver then started regretting saying that, because Gold quickly replied with a glare.
Just then, the door swung open. Crystal was standing right there. With a bandage patch taking most of the area in her left cheek.
"Woah...Crys, are you okay?" Gold asked. He winced at the thought of having the injury.
Crys faked smiled. "Of course I am."
Both Gold and Silver looked at each other.
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Silver asked.
"Nope! I'm completely fine!" Crystal then shut the door at the two of them.
That night, Crystal found herself crying.
"Why do people hate me so much?"
After sobbing to herself for another 10 minutes, she finally drifted off to sleep.
Crys woke up to a knocking on the door. Putting on her slippers, she hurriedly stepped down the stairs, and slowly opened the door.
"Who is it?"
"Hey Crystal, its me, your soccer coach. I have important news for you."
"Jocelyn has moved away. She moved to Goldenrod City."
"Really?" Crystal said.
She felt bad. She wanted to apologize for all of the things she might've done to Jocelyn. Even if she didn't know what those things were, Crystal wanted to apologize.
Crystal then decided to invite Gold and Silver over.
When they knocked the door, she immediately opened it, dragged the both of them inside without saying anything, and dragged them up to her bedroom.
Gold wiggled his eyebrows. Silver just sighed.
"Look, the reason I brought both of you here is that I wanted to thank you guys for being my friends." Crystal said.
Gold and Silver looked at each other, then at Crystal.
"You've always been there for me. Both of you. I know you know that, because, why would you be here then?"
"You're always welcome, Crystal."
"Gold's right. We should always be there to help one another, right Crystal?" Silver said.
"Yeah...you're right."
"So," Gold said. "I'm bored. Do you guys wanna watch a movie or something?"
"Sure, why not?" Silver nonchalantly answered.
Both Gold and Crystal stared at him. Was he excited about something?
"Ok, then. What movie are we gonna watch?" Crystal said.
"Ooh!" Gold said. "I know a good one! Even Silver's gonna like it!"
As Gold and Crystal started discussing about what movies they were gonna watch, Silver secretly pre-ordered 3 tickets to watch the new Pro-Team Omega movie that had been recently released.
~~~
Once the three friends were at the theater, Crystal snuggled next to Gold. He, was even surprised by Crys' flirtatious act.
"Gold..." she whispered in her ear. "I like you."
At this moment, Gold had absolutely no idea how to act. He glanced over at Silver to see if he had any advice, but he was just watching the movie. Of course he was, Gold thought.
"Uhh...I like you too."
They both snuggled together for the rest of the movie, and once it was over, Silver had to wake the lovebirds up.
Hello everyone! I am so so sorry for the huge delay of this chapter! I'll be working on other stories that I wanted to work on, so please check out those stories. Anyways, this might seem like a hiatus for many of you, but it's not. For now,
THE END.
