hazel knows she should be better. she should be a better friend, a better daughter, a better girlfriend. she should be a better writer, a better student, a better artist. and she's trying. but no matter how hard she tries, she's not.

trapped in a dark cloud of numbness, she finds herself at a loss of inspiration and passion. suddenly she can't write. she can't even bear to open her wattpad account. she can't draw like she used to.

life goes on, it's true. but all hazel can do is look at it through a foggy window as it passes by.

hazel knows why. it's because she's fading away.
