~ALRIGHT THE NEXT PEROSN TO BUG ME DOES BOARDER PATROL FOR A WHOLE MONTH~ Growling it threw my mind. Eyes look away as I pass them, not daring to interrupt me further. A giggling mate is still following me, I have a suspicion this is her doing. Though I’m not sure how, but I wont put anything past her. Opening the bedroom door, pulling her inside. I lock it and turn to the beauty.

    “Thorin” Her whisper as an eye looked over her shoulder.
    “MINE” Roaring it again, they took a step back. Licking their lips and shifting their eyes. Fade doesn’t understand its clear, she’s worried they’ll come for her when I’m done. Not a chance, I soon kill my whole pack for touching her. Licking her again in both a sexually manor and a comfort she purrs. That was all it took, and my bliss started pumping into her body. A few whines as a wolf or two walks out. Like I’d let you mutt touch my mate.

    When I finish, I can’t relax. Its true I’m Alpha and she is fully mine. However that’s never stopped a male in full wolf mode before. Crawling over her body, she tucks herself deeper under me. If knowing I’m here to protect her. Extending my fangs, I flash them at the last seven wolves. Its enough of a warning for some, and they quickly tuck tail and leave.     As if they realize they wont win, they slowly walk out of the bedroom, closing the door.
    “Wh…what” Fade’s sweet voice pulling me back under control.
    “You went into a temporary heat”
    “Huh?” Chuckling I licked her cheek. I didn’t think she’d know about that, but then again its not common for a human to make it to becoming a wolf.
    “You need a shower love, come” Picking her up, as I know for a fact her legs will not be able to support her.


~Fade~

As the hot water covers my body, I keep trying to figure out why the other males were coming for me. Thorin said something about a heat period, what the hell is that. His arms are securely tight around my waist, making sure I don’t fall. Those wonderful lips of his dance over the back of my neck, and a little on my spine. Leaning into him more, cocking my head to one side to catch a glimpse at him.
    “Thorin?”
    “Yes love” Kissing my cheek.

“What’s heat?” I watch as his face blushes a little, before clearing his throat.
    “Its…its aww, when….hell. I’m not really the right person to talk about this” Pushing his head to my neck.
    “Aw is the big bad Alpha uncomfortable?” Cooing at him. Rumbling out of his throat, he nips my shoulder.
    “Behave, don’t make fun of your Alpha.”
    “Or else what, you gunna spank me again” Licking my lips. Stunning eyes darken, as he smirking knowingly at me.

    “You liked it” Blushing I look away, only to hear him laugh.
    “What the matter cat got your tongue?” Pouting my lip out, I hate being picked on.
    “You’re a jerk” Huffing while adding shampoo to my hair.
    “Oh I’m a jerk, you started it” Turning me around.
    “Yes but I was playing, your just trying to make me cry” Raising the soap out.
    “Fade I would never try to make you cry” Cupping my face, he pulls me lightly to kiss my lips. Purring in his mouth, I find it hard to really be mad at him. Besides I’ve done a lot of damage to his ego and pride, the least I could do it not pick on him. Then again what’s the fun in that, besides I don’t plan on changing so he better love me the way I am.

Wrapping my arms around his higher neck muscles, my face inches from his. Bringing his arms around my body, lightly trailing all over. Thorin is a hard man, he’s stubborn, rude and even a bit of a bully. But he’s also kind, sweet, and loving when he want’s to be. He’s proven he loves me, and not just the wolf me. I will never be full rid of my human self, so the fact that he excepts that is just another blessing.

    He was solely made for just me, and I for him. Together were are going to have to rebuild the city, the city in which I love so dearly. Just like him I have my own power, its already been shown to most of the wolf population. Its not everyday they get to see their Alpha on his knees begging a female, and I intend to never let him forget it. Strong and gracious I may be, but I am also his mate. Deserving the respect he gives out, she be much more to me.

    Thorin will learn I am not a push over, but I am fair. We our mates now, his mark sealed me into his world of crazy. Excepting him as my mate means he is allowed to see another side of me, a piece in which no one else will ever get to look upon. For that alone I believe I should be his one and only treasure, making him mine as well.

    “Thorin…say it again” Rolling my tongue.
    “I love you Fade” Pulling my body closer to his, the hot water spraying my back.
    “You promise?” Keeping my lips inches from his. Hot breath tingling my senses, as he rumbles from a dark corner of his heart.
    “Always baby, always” Sealing the kiss, those dangerous hands scoop my behind lifting me off the tile floor.

My days of running away from this man are over, now we will run together side by side.
