As the car came to a screech, he uttered a curse under his breath

"It's all because of you " shooting her a look

"What did I do ? Mai kab se chup bethi hun" partly surprised that it was she who was spoken to

"Wohi toh problem hai ,chup kyu bethi ho tum??"

"Tumhari barbar  ki adat hogyi hai mujhe . 2 ghante se chup ka roza hai"

"Azaan, we can't be fighting all the time "  she spoke in a low voice as though she was tired.
Wasn't he the one driving

"Tum mujhse larai ke alawa koi baat nahi karsakti ? "

She looked at his face , and it screamed innocence , it was as if he was hurt , like a child .

Why had they been only fighting

"What have we done all throughout the year… what's different now? "

"Because there is no one else here...."

" Ohh Convinience ?!"  She saw him  groaning silently in response

" Ughh okay , but only for this once"

"Yah whatever" he rolled his eyes

"So ?"

"What ?!"

After deciding and tossing coins thrice , it was dua's turn to decide what game they were going to play . The car ride was too long to sit with blank faces and one person driving endlessly .

"Since I won , I will start
.Okay...ummm... what will you do if you are in a locked  room filled with cockroaches ?"

She heard a loud gasp

"Duaa this is not fair ! Ewwww " he covered his eyes , stopping the car like he the cockroaches were really around him.

"Ahhh noooo , I don't even want to think --"

He was busy vomitting in his mind at the  dreadful sight when he heard her laugh

He peeked through his fingers to see the girl sitting beside him laughing with her head thrown back and a hand on her stomach .

No this wasn't funny 

"Dua you can't make fun of me " He glared

She stopped , now wiping the tears that had formed  from laughing so much

"No I'm not making fun of you . Idiot it's just.... You are such a child"

She chucked "okay your turn "

He made a face … he didn't like it anymore

"If you get some days off what would you like to do ? "
He turned to her

She had stopped moving . As though shocked at the thought . Some moisture collecting in her eyes , and she glistened like stars

She couldn't speak anymore . He throught had a lump

No one has asked her about it ever

Nor has she tried telling anyone

And he  just started at her , his eyes asking silent questions.

She cleared her throat
" I would do all things i love "
She paused and looked at him . He was paying attention and it felt so easy to slip things which  she could never say to anyone

"I would go to treck , high up in mountains , travel the world . The loneliest of places . Interacting with people from all walks of life , capturing them in memories and paint them after " she said with a smile . A warm one when she imagined herself doing all as she closed her eyes .

He returned a smile . It were her  dreams she was speaking about . And dreams no matter small or big, realistic or vague are precious . And she had shared it with him.

They crossed a milestone , they never thought they would

It was her turn

"So.... You are stranded in an jungle , who would you like to befriend "

He twisted his lips upwards

"No i will not..... WHATTTT ? "

"You would be there since you are a junglee , if not then a gadhi can definitely  be found "  he chuckled as he turned to look at her

She is so easy to rile up

She was blowing air through her nose , probably fuming in anger

she seemed to forget the earlier one , curious at why would he befriend a monkey

"Because it is your friend so I may reunite you guys and earn some points from Allah " he laughed out loud this time

"AZAAN MIRZAA! "  but he didn't stop laughing

" Stop the car ! Stopppp ittt"

She had started reaching out the lock reading  to jump outside as sooon as she could. He applied the break quick .

"Duaaa--- "

She got out as soon as she could , hyperventilating  and he followed.

What's wrong with her ?
