Sarab Zaman is the distant cousin of the mutant Franklin Richards also known as Powerhouse on her mother's side. She is an alpha-level mutant (mutant of the highest power) and a dedicated Muslim. When Sarab was in fifth grade, she discovered her mutant powers when she stood up to her brother's bullies at their school. The anger inside of her was relentless, and the intense emotion inside of her triggered her X-Gene, which gave her the ability to manipulate reality on a pocket universal scale with her imagination and thoughts as well as the ability to manipulate and emit dynamic force and re-arrange and manipulate matter on a quantum level. Sarab used her newfound powers to barely escape. Sarab and her brother were separated from their parents by the Sentinals, but Sarab managed to escape with her brother using her self-defense skills and newly-found powers. She also has a combined power with her brother that allows them to create delusions. Sarab was forced to mature at a young age, living on the run and fighting for her family and for her life. She is a loyal friend with a gift for words and prose, topped with an independent personality. Sarab is slightly unstable after what she has been through and has trust issues after being deceived many times, but her heart and faith in humanity are still strong. She goes by and is widely known as Fantasy.
