"Do I look okay?" Felix questioned.

"My love you look beautiful," Hyunjin said.

"What about me?" Hyejin asked, twirling in her dress.

Felix smiled, "You look just darling. Don't forget that you need to call your mom tonight,"

 The girl nodded, "Okay!"

"Okay, now that we are all dressed, are we ready to go to the restaurant?" Hyunjin questioned.

Hyejin nodded excitedly, but Felix was hesitant and Hyunjin could see it.

"Lix, they'll love you," Hyunjin said.

The younger took a breath. Hyunjin was right and even if they didn't like him that was fine. It would hurt but it would be fine.

"Where are we going? Actually where are we?" Hyejin asked as they pulled out of the hotel parking spot.

"Right now we are in Seattle which is in Washington and we are going to fancy restaurant to meet people," Hyunjin said.

  "Who are we meeting?"

  Hyunjin glanced at Felix.

"Uhm, just some of my family," Felix told her.

Maybe it was the gloomy weather or maybe it was just Felix, but the brunet was feeling anxious. He was so scared that his parents weren't going to like him.

Hyunjin reached over and held Felix's hand trying to soothe the wave of anxiety the younger had.

"Do you have a lot of family?" Hyejin asked.

"Hm, kind of. It is nice to have a lot of family sometimes,"

Hyejin nodded, "Do I have a big family?"

Hyunjin nodded, "Of course, you have your mom, me, Felix, seven uncles, cousins, aunts, your sister. You have lots of family,"

    "Will I get more siblings?"

"Maybe, it all depends on certain things," Hyunjin said.

Hyunjin pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant.

"Maybe you guys should wait by the entrance and I go in first?" Felix suggested.

"Anything you want to do, love,"

Felix took a breath, "I think we should go in together,"

"Okay, let's go. Remember whatever happens in there I'll be with you," Hyunjin said softly.

The younger nodded. It would be fine.

The three entered the restaurant, greeted by the hostess, "Hi, do you have a reservation?"

"Yes, under Felix Lee," Felix said.

She smiled softly and nodded, "The other party has already arrived, right this way," she said.

Felix could feel his body tense as they got closer to the table. He wasn't sure about this, he was so scared.

A lump formed in Felix's throat when they finally reached the table. His parents sat there looking at him small smiles on their faces.

  "Hi," Felix said softly.

The two stood up. They were nervous Felix could see that much.

"Hi, uhm, it's... it is..." his mom couldn't seem to find the words.

"Uhm, this is my fiancé Hyunjin and his daughter Hyejin," Felix said introducing them.

There was a small bit of shock on their faces, but it washed away quickly.

His mother smiled warmly, "It is nice to meet you both," she said.

"Yes, it is a pleasure," Felix's dad said.

Hyunjin gave a smile, "It is nice to meet you guys as well. Uhm, how about we sit?"

"Right, that would probably be good," Felix said.

The five settled into the round booth.

"Are you Felix's family?" Hyejin asked.

"Uhm, we are," his mom answered.

"Do you have a big family?"

"Ah no, our family is kind of small, but it is nice," Felix's dad said.

Hyejin hummed taking in the information.

"Hi, I will be your waitress today. Can I get you started on some drinks?" The woman asked.

"Uhm, I'll just have a sweet tea, please," Felix said.

"I will have the same," Hyunjin said.

"I'll  have a coffee, please," Felix's dad said.

"Just a water for me," his mother said.

The waitress nodded, "And for you little miss?"

  "Do you have chocolate milk?"

"Hyejin, you can't have milk," Felix intervened.

   Hyejin pouted.

"Well, since you can't to drink milk, how about a smoothie? We have strawberry banana and mango,"

  Hyejin's eyes widened, "Mango please!"

The woman nodded, "I'll get these out here as soon as possible,"

There were thank you's from around the table and the waitress left.

"You must have a lot of questions," Felix's mom said.

Felix shook his head, "To be honest, I only have one,"

His dad took a breath, "We were fifteen when you came into the picture. We were both so scared kids having a kid..."

"We thought we were doing what was best for you. You would be placed with a loving family that could take care of you they assured us of that. It was difficult letting you go. I almost couldn't do it, but it was best for you that we went through with it," his mom said.

Felix nodded, "Did you ever regret it?"

"Everyday. When we finally got old enough, we tried looking for you, but it was next to impossible. We kept trying until you were maybe sixteen. We finally knew where you were when we saw you on tv," his dad told him.

"Why did you never try to call after that then?" Felix questioned.

"Felix, you looked like you were living a good life and we didn't want to get in the way of that. We kept tabs on you as much as we could, but we didn't want to interfere with your life,"

  Felix guessed he understood that.

"Do you have any questions for me?" He asked.

"What do you do for a living?" His mom asked.

"Uhm, I am a lawyer. I work in criminal law,"

His dad seemed like he was going to say something but the waitress came and put down the drinks and took their food orders.

"Do you like it? Your job?" His father asked.

Felix nodded, "I worked pretty much my whole life to become one and while it took long hours of studying I love it,"

"I can definitely attest to the long hours of studying," Hyunjin said with a small laugh.

Felix smiled.

"How long have you guys known each other?" Felix's mom questioned.

"Honestly it has been so long that it is hard to remember, but I believe I was in my sophomore year of college and Hyunjin was in his junior year,"

"And you guys have been together since then?" His dad asked.

"Uh, no... we... it is complicated," Hyunjin stammered a little.

"We have loved each other for a long time, but we have been in other relationships. I was in a short relationship with someone I worked with and Hyunjin was in a pretty long relationship with someone he worked with," Felix explained a little more clearly.

   The two nodded.

They all talked more over food before bring the night to an end when Hyejin started to doze off.

Felix said his goodbyes, giving them both hugs.

"I don't know if you'd want to, but when we send out the invitations and save the date cards for our we-" "We would love that," his mom cut him off.

The brunet nodded and glanced back at Hyunjin and Hyejin, "I should go, it is close to Hyejin's bedtime,"

"Call us whenever you want," his dad said.

"I'll try my best, I have a case coming up that could last a few weeks," Felix told them.

They nodded understanding. With more byes they went their separate ways.

"You okay?" Hyunjin asked once they were in the car.

Felix took a deep breath and nodded, "Yeah, it is just nice to finally meet them,"

Hyunjin held Felix's hand as they left the restaurant parking lot.

   Everything seemed just perfect.
