"What was that trip like? Did you guys spend a lot of time together?" Jisoo asked.

  Felix smiled a little. "We did. Though not all of it was good," he said.

   "What do you mean?"

~about six years ago~

    "It is just a boat ride,"

   "Okay, I didn't say anything," The blond stated.

   Hyunjin sighed, "You don't have to say anything for me to know that you don't like it,"

    Felix shrugged and moved Hyunjin's sweater, so he could pull up the blanket on the bed, "You want to go on a boat ride with her go ahead, you make your own decisions. Have fun. I am going to have fun too, Yuqi and Jisung want to take me to a bar,"

   "Oh," Hyunjin pursed his lips, "What bar?" he asked.

   "The one we all went to last night," Felix said.

   "Okay, have fun,"

   "I hate to interrupt, but this doesn't sound that bad. I mean it does seem like felix you are a little jealous, but besides that..." Jisoo said.

   "It gets worse," Hyunjin said.

  "Much worse," Felix said.

  Jisoo nodded.

   "Damn, you look good," Yuqi said, when she aw her best friend.

    Felix was wearing a black crop top with a pair of jeans, his hair was slightly curled and pulled half up.

   "Are you trying to hook up tonight?" Jisung asked.

   Those words made Hyunjin look up from his phone.

   "Not opposed to it, but I think I wanted a change from what I usually wear," Felix said.

   "Mm, well, we are off. I make no promises on how drunk we might get," Yuqi said.

  ~

   "Again, I hate to interrupt, but, Felix were you planning on hooking up with someone?" Jisoo asked.

   Felix shook his head, "I wasn't opposed to especially after the disagreement Hyunjin and I had, but even if the opportunity presented itself I wouldn't have done it. Not only because we were sharing a room, but also because by that point I knew I liked Hyunjin,"

    "I thought you said there were enough rooms to where you and Hyunjin didn't need to share a room,"

   "There were, but it kind of just happened. The first couple nights we slept in separate rooms, then we started to sleep in the same room," Hyunjin explained.

    Jisoo hummed with a small nod.

   The bar was pretty full to say the least.
  
   Most of the people there were college age, with the exception of a few.

   "I say we start off good with tequila," Yuqi said.

  "Or how about we be responsible and go with like wine or beer first," Felix suggested.

   "We are going to have a good time tonight, let's do shots,"

   Felix sighed as Yuqi order a round of shots and then another and another.

   "This is why I don't go out with you guys," Felix muttered.

   Jisung and Yuqi laughed a little. Then Yuqi perked up.

  "Lix, I think someone is interested in you," she said, nodding towards the other end of the bar.

   Felix looked over. The man might have been ten years his senior, he smiled at Felix and did one of those nods, before Felix looked back at Yuqi and Jisung.

  "Yuqi, he is like thirty," Jisung said.

  "That just means that he might have years of experience in the sheets," she said, downing yet another shot.

    "I never said I was hooking up tonight," Felix mentioned.

  "You said you aren't opposed to it," Yuqi stated.

   Felix was about to speak but a glass was placed in front of him.

   "Um, I didn't order this," he said.

  "It is from the man at the end over there," the bartender said gesturing to the man from before.

   "It looks like the opportunity is presenting itself,"

    Before any of them could say anything, a hand reached out and took the cup, downing whatever was in it.

   "More of a scotch person," Hyunjin said.

    "Hyunjin, what are you doing here. I thought you were going for a boat ride with that girl?" Yuqi questioned.

   Hyunjin nodded, "I was and then I decided to come here,"

    "Hm, why here? I figured since no one was at the house you and her would go there," Jisung mentioned, now drink water.
  
  Felix pursed his lips, he didn't want to hear this.

   "Was thinking about it, but I decided it was a bad idea. We had a couple shots and I don't think that alcohol and sleeping together are a good idea,"

  "Where was this logic at the Halloween party?" Yuqi asked.

  "Down the drain," Hyunjin stated, putting an arm around Felix shoulders.

  ~

   "After that, the guy came up to us asked me to talk and we were having a pleasant conversation until he asked me back to his place," Felix said.

  "By that point I was on my fifth or sixth drink. I heard and got jealous. I kissed Felix and the guy punched me and I punched back. Then, Yuqi, Felix, and Jisung dragged me out of there and to the house where Felix got mad at me," Hyunjin added.

   "You're an idiot," Felix stated.

   "If I am an idiot why are you cleaning my cuts?" Hyunjin muttered.

  Felix clicked his tongue, "Because if I don't they won't get cleaned. I don't see why you would do some so reckless,"

   "Because I wasn't going to let some old dude take you home,"

   "He was thirty-two,"

Hyunjin hummed, "You're only twenty,"

    Felix shook his head and continued to clean the cuts on Hyunjin's face. Until Hyunjin grabbed his left hand and looked at the scar on his wrist.

   Hyunjin's thumb ran over it gently, "If I could go back, I'd make sure he'd never lay a hand on you,"

    Felix pursed his lips, he just sat there allowing Hyunjin to look at the scar.

   "We ended up, uh, sleeping together after that," Hyunjin said.

  "I'm curious, what is the significance of the scar? Why was that detail important to mention?" Jisoo asked.

   Felix bit his lip and looked at the tattoo now covering the scar.

  "It wasn't exactly a good time. I got that scar while I was in New York with at the time my boyfriend. Hyunjin and I weren't talking at the time," Felix said.

    "Why weren't you talking?"

   "We were in a bad spot. We argued about Felix pushing people away and then a couple weeks later... it was about him and the person he was with,"

   "Did you not like the person Felix was with?" Jisoo asked.

   "No, I didn't,"

  Jisoo nodded, "What happened in New York was significant,"

   Felix nodded.

    "I... I almost went to the airport that day," Hyunjin mentioned suddenly.

   Jisoo and Felix both looked at Hyunjin.

   "What?"

  "The day you left for New York, I almost went to the airport to stop you," 

   "Why..." Felix pursed his lips, "Why didn't you come?"

   "I thought that you were happy and I didn't want to ruin that. I mean I saw you with him and I thought you were happy despite what was being said,"

   "Did you ever regret not going to stop him?" Jisoo asked.

   Hyunjin nodded, "Every day,"

   Felix reached over and held Hyunjin's hand.

  Jisoo smiled softly, "Our hour is up, but I will see you guys next week, yeah?"

    Felix and Hyunjin nodded.

   The two left the office with fi al goodbyes to Jisoo.

    "So, are you ready for our trip this weekend? I know Hyejin is excited," Hyunjin said.

   Felix took a breath, "I am nervous... I'm meeting my parents,"

   Hyunjin kissed the back of Felix's hand.

  "It will be perfect, angel,"

   Felix really hoped so.
