Felix hated funerals. He had been to too many in his life.

   However, here he was at a funeral. Familial obligation. A business friend of his father's passed away and he was required to come.

   He didn't want to. Hyunjin was still in the hospital recovering, he wanted to be there with Hyunjin.

  “Felix, pay attention,” his mother said.

   “When can I leave?” He questioned.

   “After the service. What is the rush?”

   “I don't want to be here, I told you and father this,”

  “This is a business friend, you are part of the business, so you need to be here,” his mother stated.

  “I am not part of your business and I never will be,”

   His mother clicked her tongue.

  “You're acting ridiculous. Where do you have to be, hm? With that boyfriend of yours?”

   “It doesn't matter where I have to be,” Felix said.

   “Perhaps you have to be at the hospital with that boy? How long has he been there? Two weeks now? And he still hasn't woken… how sad,”

  Screw familial obligations.

   “Have a nice day mother,” Felix said, beginning to leave.

  “I'm curious, does that boy know everything about you or just what you want him to know?”

   Felix stopped. He was glad they were closer to the entrance.

   “He knows what he needs to know,”

   “So he does know about your family?”

  “What he does and doesn't know about any of my familial relations doesn't concern you, it is between him and I,”

   The woman smiled, “Ah, so he doesn't. I would tell him before someone else does,”

    “Goodbye, mother,” Felix stated.

  It was bright, really bright.

The male blinked a couple times and glanced around. He was in the hospital. He was in an accident.

  He went to move his hand but there was something stopping him from doing so. Looking down, his heart swelled with warmth. Felix was laying on his hand holding it tightly,

   “He’s been here everyday since you’ve been admitted,” Yeji said softly from the doorway.

“Has he been taking care of himself?” Hyunjin questioned, his throat was dry and it hurt a little to talk.

  “You’re worried about him after you just woke up from a month-long coma?”

   He had been out that long? Hyunjin took a breath, something felt weird.

“I can’t feel my legs,” Hyunjin said.

  Yeji pursed her lips, “I’ll get the doctor,”

   “Yeji what happened in the car accident?” Hyunjin tried sitting up, the sudden movement waking Felix.

  “Hyun, let me just get the doctor,” Yeji said.

  It took a minute for Felix to register the fact that Hyunjin was actually up, but when he did he wanted to cry.

    “Ji, just tell me,” Hyunjin said.

    “The doctor said that you have an incomplete spinal injury… and with it there was a possibility that you would be paralysed from the waist down,”

Felix could see it in Hyunjin’s eyes. He was devastated. It wasn’t something to easily cope with, being able to walk one day and not the next. 

  Hyunjin smiled a little and laughed, “At least it wasn’t my hands, I guess,” He joked.

Yeji blinked a few times, “I am going to go get the doctor,”

  Hyunjin and Felix both stayed quiet as Yeji left.

  “Hyun, there’s something I need to talk to you about,” Felix said.

  “If it is about Hyewon and Hyejin, I already know or I figured it out,”

Felix pursed his lips, this was going to destroy everything.

  “It’s about your sister. Dohee…”

   Hyunjin looked confused, he had never told Felix about his older sister.

   Just as Yeji was coming back with the Doctor, Felix was rushing out  with tears in his eyes.

Hyunjin looked just as distraught as Felix did when he left.

  “Hyunjin, what happened?”
