“So, how is living with him?”
“It is normal, I mean it isn’t really that different from living with Yuqi,” Felix said.
“There has to be some difference,” Natty stated.
“Well he cooks sometimes, but most nights we just order take out and watch movies. When I fall asleep studying he carries me to my room and the next morning he makes me breakfast in bed, like this morning,”
“Really?”
Felix nodded.
~
Felix groaned as he woke up. Looking around he hummed, Hyunjin must've carried him to bed, last he remembered he was on the couch.
“I have to stop falling asleep on the couch, my neck hates me,” the blond muttered.
Just as Felix was going to get out of bed Hyunjin walked holding the bed tray
“Good, I didn't have to wake you,”
“Nope. When did you get back last night?” Felix questioned.
“Eleven, some of my classmates invited me to get food and we had a bit too much to drink so I went to the diner to sober up a little,” Hyunjin told him.
Felix nodded and looked at the bed tray, “So what is this?”
“Breakfast,”
“Ah, he carries me to bed and makes me breakfast in bed, such a gentleman,” Felix said.
Hyunjin chuckled, “Yes, well as much as this gentleman would love to stay, I have to get to something for one of my classes,” he said.
“I, thank you, for the food. Go before you are late,”
“Okay, I love you,”
Hyunjin froze after he said that. Neither of them had said it to each other after that day.
Felix smiled softly, “I love you,”
All the tension in Hyunjin's body released and he smiled.
“Bye,” he said.
Felix gave a wave.
~
“Hold on, back it up. You said what?”
“We said “I love you”,” Felix said.
“Okay, like in the friend way or…?” Natty questioned.
“In the other way,”
The woman's eyes widened and she smiled big, “Does that mean?”
“No, we aren't. I'm not ready and he understands that, so we are waiting,”
“You aren't going to wait too long right? I mean at some point either you or him are going to move on and when that point comes it is going to hurt,” Natty said.
“I know, but I just don't want to rush it and end getting hurt or hurting him,”
The woman nodded.
“Felix?”
The blond perked up and turned his head in the direction of the voice.
“Mika, hey!” He greeted her.
“How are you? Junior year fun so far?” The pink haired woman asked.
“Yeah, it is. What are you doing here, I thought you were like in Japan,”
Mika nodded, “We were. We got in last night, because Hiraya and Hyunjin needed to finalise the contract for next year,”
Felix tilted his head confused, “Next year?” He questioned.
“Did Hyunjin not tell you?” Mika asked.
“Tell me what?”
The woman chuckled nervously and looked at her phone, “Would you look at the time, I should go! I need to pick up lunch for the twins. See you later!”
Mika rushed out of the café. Leaving Felix and Natty confused.
“What was that?” Natty questioned.
“I don't know…”

Entering the flat, Hyunjin toed his shoes off and set his keys down.
Most of the lights were off besides Felix's bedroom light that only had a soft glow to it.
Walking over, he knocked at the door, then opened it peeking his head in.
Felix was sitting on his bed, legs crossed and headphones on as he typed away at his computer.
The younger had his fairy lights on instead of the overhead light.
“Lix,” Hyunjin called out.
No answer.
“Felix,” he called out louder, startling the other.
Felix took his headphones off and looked at Hyunjin.
“Hey, you're back,”
Hyunjin nodded, “Just want to let you know, so you don't get scared when you hear the shower,”
“Can we talk really quick?” Felix questioned.
The older opened the door a little more and entered.
“What's up?”
“Uh, I ran into Mika earlier…”
Hyunjin pursed his lips, “She told you didn't she?”
“Not exactly,”
“That meeting I had this morning for class was with Hiraya. We were working out the last bit of my contract, putting in that I will be coming back for your graduation and other major events,”
Felix nodded.
“Does this change things?” Hyunjin questioned.
“Truthfully? Yeah, but that is fine. This job is something you have been talking about for months and it should be your priority,” Felix said.
“I want you to be my priority,”
The blond shook his head, “There is plenty of time for that in the future. Right now, is the time for you to focus on building your career as an artist outside of this campus,’
The brunet pursed his lips, “But what about you?” He questioned.
“I have to focus on school. Finishing my junior and senior year and then law school is going to take a lot of my focus,”
“So what about us?”
Felix bit his lip.
“We wait and when the time is right, we try,” Felix stated.
“And if the time is never right? What then?” Hyunjin questioned.
The blond took a deep breath, “I don't know. What I do know is that we both need to focus on what is important and we both know what that is,”
“I know that, but I don't want it to be like that, I mean…” Hyunjin let out a breath unsure
Felix stood up and went over to the older. There were tears in both of their eyes.
“For now, let's just sacrifice tomorrow for tonight,” he said softly, holding Hyunjin's hands.
Hyunjin blinked a few times, tears falling, “This is unfair,”
Felix kissed Hyunjin softy and pulled away, “Falling in love is never fair,”
They would find out just how unfair it was in time.
