Chapter Forty nine

A/n: This chapter may contain mildly sexual contents. Read it at your own risk. Don't read the second pov if you don't like that type of stuff. You've been warned. :)

Soha's point of view :

Yesterday I found out that Rahat preferred coffee over tea. I knew how to make regular coffee but I never thought about learning coffee art. Our chef Ruhul was taken aback when I requested him to teach me how to do it. He had been a barista in his earlier days. In his opinion, latte art was the easiest option for a beginner like me.

"Okay, so you pour the froth and make sure that the surface is flat with the minimum of large bubbles." The ex barista explained as he poured the froth into a big round cup. I followed him by doing the same.

"You can either use a stencil template or a spice shaker to make a design. But I think stencil template would be easier for you."

He used a flower designed stencil template strew pad to dust some cocoa powder on the froth while I used a smiley face template. Thanking the chef for helping me, I placed the cups on a tray and took it to the game room.

Rahat was seated on a couch with his back facing me. He was busy talking to someone on his tab. I slowly walked towards him.

"Haan ammi. Don't worry. Soha's sent someone to pick him up from the airport."

Rahat glanced at me briefly before going back to the conversation with his mother. I decided to leave the room to give them some privacy. But he grabbed my left hand, and pulled me down to sit next to him.

"Ammi, this is Soha." Rahat looked at the tab as he gestured at me.

"Hi auntie."

"Hello beta. How are you?"

Rahat's mom, a woman in her early fifties gently smiled at me. She was wearing a black salwar with her long black hair braided and let down on the right shoulder.

"Fine, auntie. Aap kaisi hain?" My question seemed to surprise both the mother and the son. Although Rahat knew that I could understand the language and speak a little, his mother might not have expected me to speak it at all.

"I'm better now that I've talked to my son." Auntie frowned for a moment before a smile etched on her face again.

"Ammi, we skyped last night."

"Is there a rule written somewhere that says I can't miss my son after talking to him?" Auntie glared at him.

I nodded, agreeing with her. Rahat looked at me in disbelief while both of us tried to keep a straight face.

"Are you guys teaming up against me right now?"

"Let's watch a movie?" I asked Rahat.

It was ten past eleven in the morning. I pleaded Mahi to pick Shujaat up from the airport. I wanted to spend as much time as I could before they come. His flight was delayed. So, we got three more hours to kill.

"Sure."

We went to the other side of the room where a home theater was set up with hundred and twenty inches projector screen hanging against the wall. And two rows of red leather sofas on the opposite side.

"The Dvds are in there. You can choose the movie. I'll be right back." I said, pointing at a cabinet. I found Rahat going through the rack of Dvds when I came into the room with a bowl of buttery popcorn.

"Well, I've found three interesting movies." He placed the Dvd cases on the coffee table.

The vow. Fifty first dates, and Titanic.

"All romance movies." My nose crinkled.

"Yes, you didn't say any specific genre. So, I picked what I like to watch. Trust me, these are really good movies." He tried to reason with me.

"Did you know that Titanic was filmed in a swimming pool?"

"What! Why? Ugh. Why did you tell me? I'd never feel the same when I'll watch it again." He deadpaned.

I giggled as he feigned a sad face. I thought guys always liked action packed movies. I never knew that a guy could like those fluffy sob stories. Not that I'd ever watched those. Pfft.

"So, The Vow?" He held up the case.

"Hmm. . . Channing Tatum looks hot." I said, looking at the cover. "Let me put it on." I raised my hand to take it from him. Rahat followed my gaze, and saw the cover. His eyes slightly squinting as his nostrils flared, his expression changing into something unreadable.

"No." He threw the Dvd case away.

"Fifty first dates it is then."

Rahat's point of view :

Soha fell asleep after forty minutes. I was too engrossed into the movie to notice her  breathing getting slower and evened out. I felt her head touching my arm. I didn't blame her for falling asleep in the middle of watching the movie. I knew she wasn't fond of cliché romance stuff. Turning off the LED lights with the remote control, I picked up one of the pillows and placed it on the arm rest of the sofa. Then I slowly put her head on the pillow.

With the limited light coming from the projector screen, her face looked serene. I stared at her face for don't know how long. Her eyes closed, mouth slightly opened.  Her light snores brought a smile on my face. Her eyelids fluttered as if she was dreaming. I noticed her shivering as she tried to hug herself in sleep. I turned down the air conditioning even though it was quite hot.

Soha mumbled something in her sleep. Trying to listen to her, I got myself closer to her face.

Suddenly her drowsy black eyes opened again and looked straight at me.

((A/n: Don't read the rest of the chapter if you're under thirteen. ))

"What are you doing?" She quietly whispered, not looking away.

"You were sleep talking." I replied as I leaned towards her. "You said you wanted something." Caressing her arms, my hands moved to her waist.

"What?"

I held her firmly as I leaned closer to her again. She closed her eyes as our noses touched.

"This." I claimed her mouth. Our lips brushed against each other for a few minutes. I licked her lower lip, asking for entrance. She opened up a little, my tongue snaked it's way into hers. I felt her warm and moist tongue with my own. I hovered over her as I kept kissing her.

Soha tried to move her hands to my chest, but I caught her wrists and pinned them down to either side of her. She stared into my eyes, expecting me to kiss her again. But I lightly brushed my lips over hers, only teasing her. I kissed her jaw, throat and callerbone before getting closer to her ear.

"I think I'm getting addicted to your lips." I whispered against her ear as I nibbled on it.

"Get a room, you two!"

Two shadows stood at the door of the room. I groaned with annoyance as Soha hurriedly pushed me to get away from her. The lights came on, which obviously one of the shadows at the door switched on.

Mahi came back with Shujaat.
