City Hospital, Delhi.

Madhumati pushed a devastated Shashi into the hospital.

They couldn't believe what Khushi had told them when she called because it was impossible that Payal could do something like this to herself.

They arrived at the hallways of the operation theater to find Akash crying profusely while hugging Arnav's waist and what they heard next broke their heart.

"Bhai tell Payal not to leave me. " Akash cried out.

Everyone had tears in their eyes seeing Akash's condition.

Khushi looked away and cried in Aman's chest as Preeto rubbed her back to calm her down.

"Khushi? " Shashi called out alerting everyone to his presence.

Khushi turned to find her father with tears streaming down her cheeks.

She run up to him and hugged him as both cried out loud.

"How did this happen? " Buaji cried out and everyone looked at Khushi. "She was so happy when she left us this morning so what made her do that. "

Khushi wiped her tears and looked at buaji.

Flashback.

Preeto looked shocked hearing everything that has happened since they left Lucknow.

"Wow..... Your life has been so crazy but am happy you have everything you ever wished for and as much as I don't like Payal, I'm also happy she has found a true calling and changed for good but I think you should see her. " Preeto suggested and Khushi sighed as Preeto held her hand. "No matter what she is still your sister and she was clearly mislead by Garima and the best thing about change is acknowledging you were wrong and she has done it and the best thing for the people she offended is to help her improve that change...... Let's go and meet her and I will be there if you need any support. "

Khushi sighed and nodded and Aman offered to drove them to Payal's apartment which they accepted.

Half an hour later, Aman arrived at Payal's apartment building and they all moved towards her apartment.

Aman and Preeto stood outside as Khushi knocked but no response.

Khushi pulled down the door handle and it opened and Preeto mouthed a good luck to her.

Khushi closed the door behind and moved to the sitting room calling out Payal's name but no response.

She was about to move to the bedroom when she saw a hand peek behind the couch.

She smiled and walked up to the couch but the smile on her face dropped when she saw Payal lying on the floor with foams slowing slipping down from her mouth.

She immediately kneeled and shook Payal but she was unconscious and her eyes fell on two bottle of sleeping pills and painkillers and an empty glass.

She screamed for help and Preeto and Aman entered the room to find Payal's head on Khushi's lap who was crying uncontrollably.

Aman immediately carried Payal and the women run behind Aman.

Aman drove recklessly on the streets of Delhi not caring about the amount of road regulations he has broken.

"She is now in the operation room but we don't have any information about her yet. " Khushi cried out.

Buaji moved closer to her and hugged her.

"Hey Nandkishore, who has put a curse on our family like this that each time our kids find happiness, tragedy follows..... She was so happy this morning before leaving to go home...... If I had known, I would have forced her to stay. " Buaji cried out and everyone excluding Shashi looked at her stunned because they knew Shashi was still angry at her.

She was so happy to know her father has forgiven her.

"Buaji thanks for the breakfast and babuji, thanks for forgivinge even though I know I don't deserve it. " Payal exclaimed sadly and Shashi sighed and held her hand.

"You deserve all the good things in life and trust me you were just misled but now you are walking on the right path and that's all that matters okay. "

Payal nodded with tears in her eyes and hugged Shashi who reciprocated with a huge smile on his face and broke the hug and sat back down as buaji brought her some snacks to take home.

"Hey Nandkishore won't what are your plans this week since you have no school? " Buaji asked as she sat by them.

"I have a lot to do this week..... Tomorrow, I am planning on baking Khushi her favorite cake and maybe she will finally forgive me....... The next day I am taking Akash on a date for losing loosing in chess against him but I will becoming her every morning for breakfast and also to help take babuji to the hospital. " Payal said enthusiastically and the both smiled at her.

"I love that you are giving Akash a chance and maybe some day I can finally give you the wedding you deserve. " Shashi said and Payal smiled at him.

"I have to go now but please think about my offer of staying with me at the apartment...... It's more spacious than here. " Payal said parking up her things.

"Don't worry about us dear, as I said we are comfortable here and it about time you became independent and stop trying to guilt us to stay with you. "

"Okay babuji but don't forget or hesitate to call me if you need any help. "

Shashi and buaji nodded and escorted her out as the watched her walking away with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Hey Nandkishore, thank you for making our daughter see the light and may you keep her this happy forever. " Buaji prayed and Shashi nodded.

"This proves that it's not her doing?..... Something or someone pushed her to do this but what. " Preeto said as everyone was lost in their own thought trying to guess what caused her to do something like that.

This shocked Anjali seeing them ignoring her because she thought they will have bombarded her with questions seeing her upset but the two were chatting away with caring about her.

Both looked at her and back at each other and went back to their tea and snack.

"Fine, since you two clearly do not care about me, I want you to warn Akash to stay away from my father. "

Nani held onto her cup tightly to control her anger.

"And why do you want us to warn him? " Mami asked calmly controlling her rage.

Anjali then told them what Akash did to her father and Mami and Nani looked at each other and burst out laughing.

This took Anjali aback and she started getting more angrier.

"Manu why is that when something interesting happens, we are not here to witness it..... I would have given anything to watch that bastard drown. "

Shyam and Dadi who were watching from upstairs rushed to Anjali and threw a glare at Mami who was fuming and glaring at Anjali.

"Don't you dare insult sasuma like that again or else I will forget I once loved you more than my son and nephew but then again I don't blame you because I blame myself and sasuma for pampering and loving you way to much than you deserve and because of that you fell comfortable disrespecting us thinking we won't retaliate...... You brought that bastard who is responsible for Ratna's death and want us to be welcoming to him...... It's enough that we tolerate that bastard in this house but it ends there and don't you dare disrespect us like that again because you will see the worst of me if you dare. " Mami yelled making Anjali and the others flinch and Nani looked at her daughter in law in awe.

The trio was shocked by Mami's new avatar.

"Go ahead and sue. " Nani yelled cutting Shyam off. Shyam dragged Anjali and Dadi out of there.

Manohar entered the scene hyperventilating and looked at a crying Anjali being led away by Shyam and Dadi.

"Akash just call to say that Payal tried to commit suicide. " Manohar replied and the women gasped in shock.

Manohar tried to touch her but she pushed him away and yelled.

Mami then forced him to take them to the hospital and he tried to dissuade them from going but Nani threatened to stop eating or take her medicine and he had no other choice than to give in to their demand.

Arvind who was left alone took a inward sighed of relief hearing this.

Dadi was taking him to the hospital when all of this happened and everyone seems to have forgotten about him.

"According to Anjali, she is the sister of Khushi and they are very close and Arnav who is a love sick puppy will never leave Khushi's side and because of that I can be free for his torture even if it will be for a few days...... Oh God please help me heal because the aphrodisiac Arnav has been injecting me is killing me and no one has noticed...... HP ascended towards him and stood in front of Arvind smirking at him while Arvind looked confused.

He then unhooked Arvind's wheelchair and whispered into his ears.

"Arnav and Akash bhai told me to take very good care of you. "

He tapped his shoulder and Arvind's eyes widened in shock understanding what he said as his wheelchair moved closer to the stair and he came tumbling down the stairs and onto the floor with a painful thud.

He started groaning and the fall attracted Anjali and the others and HP immediately entered Arnav's room to avoid being detected.

Anjali screaming seeing Arvind on the floor moaning in pain.

Outskirts of Delhi.

Garima was pacing back and forth in her apartment worried.

She looked like a maniac who has just escaped from an asylum.

"I did right..... She deserves it for abandoning me...... She deserves it for abandoning me. " She kept on chanting as if she was chanting a mantra but the image of Payal's shocked and devastated state haunted her and she started screaming and hitting her head with her hand as the scene flashed in her head.

Flashback.

Garima who has been stalking Payal since the day she cut her off  and she was pissed seeing the smile on her face as she walked out of the Gupta residence in Laxmi Nagar.

She immediately knew Shashi has forgiven Payal and knew just like that Khushi and the others will follow.

She had wanted Payal to be more isolated and that way she will have no one than to be with her.

"You will pay for this...... If I can't have you than you won't be theirs either. " Garima thought as she followed Payal.

Payal jerked seeing her mother standing in front of her and she looked miserable but she didn't care and walked pass her.

Garima held her hand and dragged her to an isolated place behind the community temple.

"Let me go. " Payal yanked her hand out of Garima's grip.

"You are my daughter and you will forever be my daughter whether you like it or not. " Garima yelled and Payal looked at her in disgust.

"I am the daughter of Shashi Gupta, the niece of Madhumati Gupta and sister of Khushi Kumari Gupta and they all love me..... Khushi is mad at me and it's understandable but soon she will forgive me and I will be the best sister she never had...... I have real people who lovee from Akash to the Raizadas and I will do anything to make thme love me more because they are the only genuine people in my life."

Garima burst laughing and Payal frown.

"You silly girl. " Garima exclaimed shoving her hard. "You think they will love you if they found out that you are a product of their pain. " Payal looked at her confused. "You are not the daughter of Shashi Gupta but the daughter of Arvind Malik and the half sister of Arnav and Anjali..... You are the product of my affair with their father Arvind Malik..... If I hadn't gone to the Raizada mansion to confront you, I wouldn't have known Arvind was the father of Arnav..... The woman who blew his cover was me and you my dear are the product of that affair..... So let's see how they accept you when they find out the truth. "

Payal stumbled backwards hearing her mother who was laughing seeing her miserable state.

"No it's not true...... No it's not true. " Payal cried hitting Garima who didn't flinch and was smirking at her with satisfaction.

"Sorry to burst you bubble but it's all true and if they find out who you are, they will all hate you. "

Payal shook her head and run out of there not looking back and Garima smirked watching her disappear.

"Now I will be the only person in your life. "

Garima screamed hitting her head as if it will make her forget what she has just done.
