1. What got you interested in writing?

Reading and playing pretend. I used to act out a lot of adventures and things, but it got harder to act out six characters and I only had two friends lol So I started writing, and reading definitely amped up my thirst for writing :)

2. You write a lot of gay fiction. Why did you choose to do this? Do you consider yourself an advocate for lgbt+ rights/equality?

It was really hard to find this genre when I first started writing it. I was annoyed with the lack of lgbt+ novels out there, and even more annoyed that what few there were, were thick with stereotypes and bad endings. So I wanted to change all of that. And yes, I do consider myself an advocate. For sure.

3. Were always interested in mythology?

Yes, mythology has always held a special place in my heart, particularly the Greeks. I actually started doing research when I was in middle school and have been studying it ever since.

4. Did you have a favourite book as a child?

Even as a child, it's hard to choose a favorite book, haha. I think the Spiderwick Chronicles and Charlie Bone, along with Dahl's The BFG, were my most read books, to the point where they were falling apart.

5. What are some positive experiences you've had on Wattpad?

I think the followers are the most positive thing about Wattpad. They're really uplifting, and really know how to provide feedback to help me improve. They're so friendly and fun, and nothing makes me happier than coming home and getting online to see how everyone is doing.

6. What are some of your favourite works on Wattpad?

I haven't read too much recently, but when I have time, I find myself frequently reading Viano Oniomoh's work, especially her book "Rise Above". I've reread it like six times, going on a seventh. I need help.

7. What advice would you give to writers who are just starting out?

It's hard to say. Every writer has their own style. Experiment. Find your style. Find what makes you happy. Find what has you writing for like six hours before you remember you had to pee like an hour ago and you were so into writing that you forgot haha. Write because you love to write. Love what you write.
