chapter 14

The family was back from their outing..
they saw the main gate open widely. They got confused at first but ram just let out a chuckle. Sujata and manohar kaka were confused with his behaviour.
"what happened ram?" kaka asked with confused expressions.
"He is back home" saying this he ran inside the house.
He stood before the main door and pressed the bell twice..thrice
Varun came down to open the door.
"papa....." he hugged ram tight.
Sujata came running towards him and hugged him and caressed his hairs.
"My varun...so many years have passed I have not seen you" she cried holding him in her embrace.
kaka stood confused.
He was shivering seeing varun infront of him. Slowly he came towards him and placed his hands in his cheeks and tears rolled down his cheeks.
"Sanskar...." he just murmured.
Varun held his hand .
"no uncle varun...I am sanskar's twin" he replied with a weak smile.
"And what about ragini..??" sujata asked tensed.
"she is alright..sleeping right now. For her I am her Sanskar and I have promised Bhai to take care of her. I can't break it" varun replied
"No this is not possible..if she gets to know that you are not Sanskar,she will be broken again...I can't let this happen varun" kaka shouted.
"I promise you uncle..I myself will tell her the truth before it's too late. I will help her to take her revenge and move back to london" varun assured him and hugged him.
They all moved to their respective rooms. Varun just stood there numb.
Will be able to complete his promises?? This question hammered in his head.
Next morning everyone were busy in their breakfast..
Ragini came down with a wide grin. Smiles spreaded on everyone's face seeing her happy after so long. The reason behind her beautiful smile is varun.
He just kept on looking at the Angel emerging from the stairs.
"good morning everyone.." ragini said staring at him. This bought him back from his thoughts.
He offered her his hand...she held it.
"let's go for a walk..." he said holding her hands tightly.
"sure..but..." she looked towards everyone for permission.
They just agreed seeing her cute face.
Both of them ran outside. Ragini was laughing and dancing like a small kid. Varun was getting happier seeing her each moment.
"Sanskar let's have ice icream..." she asked him.
"at this time..?? it's too early ragini.." he replied looking at the city clock that was on 8.
She pleaded him with her eyes..
and he just agreed without denying her.
As they were having ice cream a small kid came running to ragini..and pulled her hands only to grab her attention.
"Sanskar..how are you??" she asked.
" I am good aunty..what about you??"
" fine..."
lakshya came from behind and started dragging little Sanskar with him.
Ragini pulled Sanskar towards her.
"listen stay away from my son..we.don't talk to strangers" he said with a stern voice.
" lakshya I am really sorry for yesterday..I was not in good mood." she apologized and lakshya just giggled.
Looking at them varun understood that they knew each other.
" so let's start out introduction....hii I am ragini Mehta...and this is Sanskar Mehta my husband.." she said.
varun just shook hands with lakshya.
"I am lakshya ..lakshya maheswari..."
The word "maheswari" brought back all the past memories....and tears rolled some ragini's cheeks..
