Previously in Ethereal

The young boy opened his eyes slowly, staring as the figure of his best friend loomed over him.

"Jack" he shouted, launching into the older boy's arm.

"Thank god, you're okay" the winter spirit murmured.

"I'm sorry, Jack."

"I'm sorry too."

"And Jack?"

"Yeah, Jamie?"

"I... I love you Jack."

"I love you too."

They hadn't dared go to the pole, the chances of being noticed were to high.

This meant, that as far the guardians knew, Jack was dead, and so was Jamie.

Sophie had been seeing a physiologist after continually claimed she saw Jamie and the mysterious 'Jack'.

After Sophie's third visit to the woman, who was about to diagnose Sophie with post traumatic stress disorder and schizophrenia, Jamie made the decision to stop visiting his sister.

He had still been checking up on her, just not talking to her, or letting her see him.

He didn't want her to end up in a facility.

It was one of the deciphering reasons he took his life in the first place, his mother had walked in on him, blade in hand, and red running down his arm.

"Jamie, tea's re... oh my god."

The boy's head snapped up, eyes glued on his mother.

"What is wrong with you?"

"I-I..."

"Pack your things."

"Mum, p-please..."

"No, you aren't my son."

"Mum!"

"Stop calling me that, and pack your things!"

He and Jack had never discussed why they had taken their own lives, and they didn't plan to anytime soon.

Jack was Jamie's light side.

And Jamie was Jack's dark side.

Anyone who saw them in the street, which was not many, would think they were brothers.

"I didn't know Jack Frost had a brother?"

"Not brothers, just best friends."

Both still harmed themselves.

It was something the Man in The Moon never imagined would happen.

When bringing both boys back to life, he never thought that they would still hold their old memories.

The feeling of being alone didn't pain either as much now they had each other.
