JD
I honestly didn't mean to hit her over the head.
I had carried her limp fragile body into the car, clicking her seatbelt into place as I looked at her face. She was beautiful, everything I could ever want and more. She was my god, I worshipped her. And I was, kidnaping her. My eyes landed on the scar on her forehead from when I bashed her head into a wall. Then they drifted to a new injury, and possibly a new scar. I had hit her over the head with the butt of my gun. I hadn't really meant to, I just got out of control.
"Sorry." I whispered gently, staring at her. Getting no response from an unconscious Veronica, I remembered what I had to do. I grabbed our things from the room and piled them into the back of they car. I sat in the drivers seat and then ended up staring at her again. I had left a pretty big hash on her forehead, but not deep. Her forehead was bleeding though and I felt rather bad about it. I looked around my smaller bag until I found a stray box of bandaids. Finding the biggest one, I carefully placed it on her forehead, surveyed her once more, and then began to drive.

I had stopped at a 7/11 to get gas and a few things when Veronica finally started to show signs that she wasn't dead. She eventually woke up, grabbing her head quickly, obviously in pain.
"Calm down you're giving me an even worse headache if that's even possible."
I looked up at her studying her face, she was squinting as if the light hurt her.
"You've been out of it for a while, do you want to use the bathroom?"
"Yeah I guess."
She looked she was going to throw up.
"Veronica?" I touched her shoulder gently as she hadn't moved. She seemed really out of it.
"Yeah I'm going."
I stepped out of the car going to fill up the gas when I saw Veronica step out of the car and then blackout. I ran over quickly checking for a pulse. Not dead. I quickly went through everything I had learned in health classes in over 10 high schools I'd visited, searching for an answer of what to do when someone's passed out. Let them lie on their back until they wake up as the blood needs to begin to flow to the brain normally. I stared at her waiting anxiously or something to happen, calling out her name even though I knew it wouldn't do any good.
After what seemed like ages she seemed to be waking up. I sat up quickly. "Veronica? Oh god Veronica are you okay?!"
"Yeah I think I just stood up to fast." She slowly began to sit up and prop herself against the car.
"No, I think this is my fault." She looked up at me, confused.
"I think, oh god I think I gave you a fucking concussion when I hit you. Oh god I'm so sorry." I looked down.
She slowly stood up and then carefully put her hand in mine. "It's okay, I don't think I'll die or anything." She laughed.
"I'm horrible. We go from happy to me almost breaking your skull and I'm so goddamn sorry."
"Then prove it. Prove you're sorry." She looked up at me. Still slightly sunken in face and all.
"How?"
She breathed in carefully, and then whispered..
"Don't blow up the school."
I clenched my teeth.
"They hurt you!"
She sighed and then rolled up her sleeves showing me her bare arms. "This was me. This was me being stupid enough to listen to every shitty thing they ever said to me. This was me believing them. But I don't believe them anymore. It was all me JD. So if you want to kill everyone who hurt Veronica Sawyer then the only person you'd really be killing would be me."
