Before we jump into the story, I need to answer some frequently asked questions here. I'd advise you to check them out before you read.

An Explanation of The Langley & Porter Mystery Series (Chronology & Suggested Reading Order)

Book 1: A is for Arson

Book 2: B is for Bookies

Book 3: C is for Conspiracy

Book 4: D is for Deception

(*Books 1-4 are the base of the series, the Main Four)

Book 5: E is for Elena - The Prequel (Elena's story, pertaining to events which occurred prior to the events of books 1-4)

Book 6: F is for Fury - The Sequel (Camden's story, pertaining to events which occur after the events of books 1-4 from Camden Keene's POV)

Potential future books in the works returning to Charlotte Porter and Alexander Langley's POVs.

Trigger Warnings: This book is darker in nature than the previous installments of the series and therefore has a number of trigger warnings I would like to make my readers aware of before they delve into the story. Mentions of depression, alcohol use, smoking, graphic depictions of violence and crime, language.

Do I have to read the books in order? Do I have the read the other books before I read this one? E is for Elena is meant to function as a standalone novel. It can be read on its own or in addition to the rest of the series. The rest, however, tell a continuing story and depend on you having read the others to understand what is going on in the newer ones. As for F is for Fury, as I explained on my profile "If you have NOT read the first four books of the Langley & Porter series you will not get the full gut wrenching effect so check those out first before sprinting back to F is for Fury."
