Author's POV

Cold wind brushed up against Yoongi's face while he peacefully walked on the soft green grass. A deep sigh escaped Yoongi's lips as he continued to walk. He kept on walking and shoved his hands in his pocket, looking up at the dark sfr-friendled with stars. "I'm sorry..." right when he finished his sentence, he felt someone bump into him directly. Yoongi looked down and saw a small body on the floor, groaning in pain.

"Oh fuck. Look I'm so sorry. I'll help you with your books" Yoongi bent down, picking up the books. He looked back up to check the boy's face. He dropped the books and widened his eyes in shock.

"Jihoon???" Jihoon looked back up at Yoongi, a shimmer appearing in his eyes. "Yoongi!!!" They both hugged each other, chuckling. The both of them pulled away from each other, smiling and sitting in the middle of the field like idiots. "I never thought I'd see my 'dad' again" Yoongi smiled brightly and got up, pulling Jihoon along. Yoongi grabbed Jihoon's books, handing him his books. "What are you doing out here with all these nerdy books so late?" Jihoon looked at his stack of books and shifted uncomfortably.

"It's silly but I just use my books to hide from people who just bully me..." Yoongi looked at Jihoon, worryingly. Jihoon continued looking down at the floor. "Jihoon..." Yoongi pulled Jihoon into a tight hug. Jihoon chuckled quietly, hugging back. "Jihoon, if anybody tries to hurt or bully you, tell me. I'll deal with them myself." Jihoon nodded and patted Yoongi's back lightly. Yoongi let go of Jihoon and saw Jimin in the corner of his eye. "Look Jihoon, I got to go. I'll see you the next time I run into you." Jihoon nodded and waved at Yoongi.

Yoongi slowly approached Jimin from behind who was sitting on a bench, on his phone. Yoongi tapped Jimin's shoulder lightly. Jimin turned around quickly, hugging him tightly. "P-please don't leave me... I-I don't want you to be mad at m-me..." Yoongi patted his back gently.

"Wh-Why do you smell like vanilla-" Jimin pulled away and looked at Yoongi. "Y-You aren't Ro-Rosie" Yoongi furrowed his eyebrows and looked back at him. Jimin's cheeks were stained with streaks of tears and his eyes we're red and puffy. "Do I look like a snake to you?" Jimin pulled Yoongi back into a tight hug and started to sob uncontrollably.

"Wait no Jimin, baby no don't cry. What happened? Talk to me." Jimin hiccuped and kept crying, taking shaky breaths. "R-R-R-Rosie t-t-told m-me that I w-was t-t-too disg-gusting t-to be a-alive" Yoongi kept a calm expression and rubbed Jimin's back lightly.

Jimin calmed down after a while but at the moment, he was taking shaky breaths and was gasping for air. They were both sitting on the bench, Jimin's shoulder wrapped in Yoongi's arm. "Sh-she al-also s-said that I d-di-didn't d-deserve any fr-friends or hap-happiness..." Yoongi held Jimin closer and sighed. "Well she's completely wrong. You deserve everything" Jimin shook his head, closing his eyes and rubbing them lightly. "I acted like a jerk to everyone ever since you left. But after this afternoon, I realized how I've been acting and treating others. I tried to ask Rosie to change when I called her earlier. She just yelled at me..."

Yoongi smiled gently at Jimin. "Look, you're loved by many people. Namjoon, Jin, Hoseok, Jungkook, and Taehyung still care. I do too. I really didn't want to leave I'm sorry I did." Jimin smiled at Yoongi and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, Yoongi"

Yoongi smiled and took a deep breath and awkwardly rubbed his neck. "This is really irrelevant but... Can I get a second chance?" Jimin looked at Yoongi, mouth hung open.

"Oh- Um- I'll think about it..." Jimin chuckled nervously. Yoongi smiled and pecked Jimin's cheek. "Hopefully that'll help my chances" Jimin blushed and covered his cheek.

Yoongi looked up at the dark sky plastered with stars. "It's really late... We should go back to the dorms." Jimin forced out a laugh and Yoongi looked back at Jimin. "What's so funny?" Jimin smiled and looked down at the floor, shifting his feet. "Funny thing is um... Rosie took the keys to my dorm so... I can't really go anywhere..."

Yoongi froze and mouthed a long 'oh'. "Well maybe you can stay with me, Taehyung and Jungkook? I'm sure they don't mind you staying"
