Amelea: *playing with toys in the living room*

Seishi: *watching her like a hawk*

Amelea: Daddy, can I have ice cream?

Seishi: No. Play with your toys.

Amelea: ...Please?

Seishi: NO!

Amelea: *starts to cry a little* o-okay...

Seishi: *walks over to her and crouches in front of her* stop crying or I swear I'll break all of your toys and then you can cry about those instead

Amelea: *nods and wipes away tears*

Seishi: Good. Now, do you want icecream?

Amelea: Yeah!

*three hours later*

Bren: *enters house* I'm home! *sees Seishi and Amelea passed out with two empty pints of icecream* ... Seishi you spoil her.

Amelea: Dad! I'm going to prom with Jacob, isn't that great?

Seishi: ...

Amelea: ... Dad?

Seishi: I want to meet him before you go.

Amelea: okay... Why?

Seishi: Just in case. I like to know the faces of my assassination targets.

Amelea: Dad please don't kill me date-

Seishi: If he doesn't do anything I won't have to resort to it.

Amelea: *running around yard* Mommy! Daddy! Look I'm a super hero!

Bren: Awe she's so precious isn't she, love?

Seishi: ...She's gonna fall... Running around like that.

Bren: *shrugs* Amelea is careful-

Amelea: *trips and falls* *starts to tear up*

Bren: *gets up and runs over* Awe, honey are you okay?

Seishi: HEY, KID!

*Bren and Amelea turn to him*

Seishi: SUCK IT UP!
