Time for me to list my pet peeves in a rp.

1. When people get offended and angry at what my character says or does.
I get that you might be angry at me if I said or did it myself, but these are completely fictional characters who aren't even real. They have their own personalities and beliefs that I may not have. And people get pissed over it. Like for example: people always get mad at me when they see Zedge greatly dislikes gays and lesbians. Or even worse, how Seishi is rude. Wow. I never expected a MADE UP character to have an... I don't know... PERSONALITY.

2. Roleplaying as real people.
I don't care as much if it's like an exsisting character like Natsu Dragneel from fairytail as long as you get their personality right. But roleplaying as Michael Jackson? Nuh uh. There is no way I would ever roleplay with someone who uses a real person, because it's near impossible for someone to know how a person behaves outside the spotlight. The only real person character I would be fine with is if it's yourself. Because you know you better than anyone.

3. When people control my characters.
God I hate this one. I'm fine if they say "he grabs her hand and leads her down the path" but if it's like "he grabs her hand and leads her down the path. She smiles happily and grabs his arm, hugging it." no no no no NO. That's controlling the character (speaking as if my character was the girl). I usually completely ignore people like that. I literally can't stand it.

4. When roleplayers repeat.
I hate roleplayers repeat themselves and when I try to do something to try and get a new response they say the same thing.
Them: she grinned at him as they walked.
Me: he ran his fingers through his hair. It was clear that he was nervous, showing by his actions. He wished she'd say something.
Them: she smiled at him and comtinued walking, gazing at the flowers they passed.

Okay now she's looking at flowers. How does that help me? It's just annoying, but I can usually put up with it.

These are just a few that I found notably annoying to the point that I get frustrated.
