fun fact in the actual game with gooigi (lm3) egadd gives him to luigi and just. traps luigi in a cage. almost gives him a heart attack too before hes like LOL dont worry!! u can get out if u use gooigi!! hes SO FUCKED UP i love him

anywyas next smb movie au !! (spoilers ahead . for those who are planning on watching the movie .)

i read an idea online somewhere like what if daisy also came from the warp pipes (mario movie lore for those that dont know: basically there are virtually no humans in the smb universe bc the smb world just doesnt have humans . the three only humans that appear in the movie are only in the smb world bc they came through a warp pipe that connects (evidently) earth with the smb world (peach when she was a baby and mario and luigi obvs at the start of the movie)). and since daisys yk.   human. it would make sense that shes also from the warp pipes

okay ANYWAYS the au goes daisy was just screwing around one day when she was a reckless teen (like 13-14) and accidentally got lost in the sewer system and is sucked through the warp pipe. she enters this new world and kicks so much ass they just make her the princess of sarasaland also she was friends with luigi in middle school 

baiscaly this comic is like peach meeting daisy for the first time for diplomatic relations or smth (evidently she isnt friends with daisy in the smb movie timeline ????? bc if they were friends daisy would have been the first person she would have asked for help not the kongs . and sarasalands definitely EXISTS in the smb movie universe bc u can see it in the map during that one scene where theyre planning.  anwyays like sure kongs are strong and whatnot but diays literlaly rules an empire 😭😭if they were friends it would have made more sense to ask daisy . also peach is so shocked at seeing mario (another human) which kinda implies shes not used to seeing other humans .) 

and in this meeting luigi comes along just as moral support ig (pretend mario is like sick or smth LMAOAOA convenient excuse!!) and he recognizes daisy and hes like ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bc its like "Erm is this my middle school best friend that randomly went missing and who i grieved over a lot or is this just an uncanny doppelganger"

ALSO FOR THE DRESSES. im such a sucker for like. cultural outfits so i wanted to kinda model their dresses after their respective cultures . peach obvs is inspo from the toads and what they wear and for daisy i just saw some (i think official??) art online with her wearing clothes that seemed to be inspired from like traditional indian  clothes?  ? ?  no idea correct me if im wrong LMAO but ?? anywyas seeing as sarasaland castle obvs takes heavy inspo from the taj mahal that all matched up so i just drew her in the dress she was wearing in that drawing LMAO
