context for this is its halloween ! percy dresses up as sailor rat and dean dresses up as narato except it was unplanned they were each trynna surprise the other and just twin (bc dean always goes as sailor rat and percy always goes as narato) except they had the same idea so.! dean is still happy about percys cosplay (its one of his fave percy cosplays) and percy is just endeared by deans VERY shitty halloween costume that he probably bought for 5 dolars

no idea if i mentioned but percy is somewhat of an e celebrity .... an influencer if u will..... (mostly in the cosplay community) .  he posts a lot of vids about his cosplay stuff and . the above is an example of one of his get out of cosplay with me videos .

deans love language is quality time!! whenever percy dresses up dean its like a good half a day of percys undivided attention where percy is basically just lookign at him and doing nothing else so dean looooves it when percy dresses him up

dean is very very physically affectionate and. tbh hes just generally affectiaonte in most aspect but hes veeery physically affectionate which is a change of pace from percys previous gfs . so hes not very used to it. also just in general percy just naturally gets a bit overwhelmed by physical affection despite growing up in a . VERY physically affectionate household.  

he takes verbal affection fine but its mostly bc he just drinks it in to feed his ego . and even then its only verbal affection about his appearance or about his intellect . if its about his personality or whatever hes like What . mostly bc hes just not used to it .

his ex gfs arent exactly very developed but . ik they exists. along with some extra bits about them ^_^!!

so for gf #1 she and percy dated for a few years in high school and they broke up (on good terms ^_^) when he went off to college bc they were both unsure about the long distance. theyre just friends now. shes just a sweet country girl basicaly . the relationship was a bit chaste just bc of the culture they grew up in . tbh they were more like friends than anything . the only indication of them dating was they were a guy and a girl hanging out (abnormal for where percy grew up) along with the occasional hand holding

gf #2 is someone he dated in college for. probs just a few months in his freshman year and i think they just had a fast quick burn out type relationship . not too much romance it was just a bit immature and mostly . sexually driven. so yeah inevitable break up LMAO not exactly the best foundation to build a relationship on . it works sometimes id assume ! but not for this relationship !

i thot it would be kind of a change of pace from the average flower shop oc whose life dream is just working at a flower shop if becca was instead just working at the shop bc a) its convenient b) its nearby and c) she likes plants, but was still studying a stem field in college to pursue some other job. 

it also aligns with her values and whatnot . shed def gravitate more towards the generally more stable jobs that stem majors have available compared to a less stable job as a flower shop owner

he and syl have opposing viewpoints on children . lukas rlly wants kids syl rlly Doesn't; i think its a diff perception on their respective trauma . sylukas have this parallel where lukas' family was killed by a vampire and syls parents were killed by a (assumed human) vampire hunter so they both have. like nearly identical traumas . for syl im ASSUMING idk for sure that this trauma made him. not want to have children (not sure.  blonky if ur reading this. lmk) and for lukas ik that its bc of his familial trauma that he wants to have kids and to give those kids a life that he didint get to have .

sooo yeah they break up on. not bad terms. it def was probs a bad breka up for the two of them bc they had been dating for years and years by the time they break up . ig its an L and BOZO moment for not discussing this. many years in advance but oh well .
