Blame
Kanan pov
Ezra and Star have been gone for a couple days. How could I let this happen? This is all my fault. I put my face in my hands as I sensed their pain. A single tear escaped my eye. This all happened because I got mad. They wouldn't have snuck out if I hadn't yelled at them.
The door to my room opened and I saw Hera standing there.
"Love, I just want you to know this wasn't your fault." She said in a comforting tone.
"Yes, Hera, it was."
"No, Love,"
I interrupted her "Yes Hera it was! I yelled at them, I was angry. They snuck out because of me." Hera looked like she just saw a ghost.
"W-what?"
"I yelled at them. I was unreasonable. I-it was all my fault." Hera hugged me.
Star pov
I was still hugging Ezra when all of the sudden he started screaming. I let go and he stopped. "What was that?" I asked.
"I-I don't kn-know." He said shuddering. Then I realized it was the thing they put on his arm.
"Ezra! It's that thing they put on your arm!" I said. He glanced at it.
"Ugh! Not another one of these!" He yelled like it was a cruel sith.
"You've seen one these before?" I exclaimed with concern in my voice.
"Star," he said, "I've been through a lot worse than this. A lot has happened since we split. You have to learn that I will be alright. You need to save yourself. I'll stay here and hold off the inquisitor." I couldn't believe what I just heard from my own younger, younger brother.
"No I'm not leaving you, Ez." I said tears stinging my eyes "I'm not leaving you again."
He screamed as he got shocked again. I hugged him. I couldn't bare to see this.
Then the door slid open and the inquisitor stood there glaring at me with his yellow sith eyes.
