TV
I'd just come home from a long day at work. I'm so glad to be home. As soon as I walked upstairs and entered my bedroom, I unleashed. I threw my backpack to the carpet floor, and changed my clothing. I could feel every bone in my body screaming at me right now. Like a ton of iron I've been carrying. Afterward, I would turn on my TV. I never really watched it that much, but it helps me sleep.
I watched it for a second as an episode of "Bob's Burger" was on. A hysterical show it is, but my stomach had other ideas. Pizza was the first thing that came to mind since I had just bought some. So i exited my room and went down the stairs. I entered the kitchen and opened the freezer. And there it was.
Mama Lucia's pizza. I couldn't wait to eat and relax. I picked up the pizza pan that was from a little slot near a cabinet. I placed my pizza on the pan and set it in the oven. After I started the oven, I heard something weird. It was a huge thud that came from upstairs.
Since no one was in the house but me, I decided to go check it out. I went back into my room and saw that the mug I had set on top of the TV had fallen. It was my fault for not putting it back in its proper place. So I picked it up and started to walk down the stairs. When I made it to the fifth step, another sound was made. It came from my room again.
I went back to my room and saw that the left side of the TV had shifted off the stand. Like half of it was hanging off, and it was still playing. I stepped back a little bit because I was freaked out. My room isn't that big to where someone could have entered, messed with the TV and hide because I would've heard footsteps.
I had to get over my fear. I walked up to the TV and fixed its position. I watched it for a second as the show was on commercial break. I looked up and down before exiting my room and heading back into the kitchen. About 15 minutes later, the pizza was ready. I'd put on some oven mittens that were laying near the side of the oven and carefully took it out. I placed the pizza on a thin piece of cardboard and cut it into fours. That along with some tea, and I was going to be alright.
I headed back into my room and turned out the lights. I placed my food near the bed on a lunch table. I then closed my door and locked it. I hopped into my bed and let out a huge sigh of relief. I was exhausted. When I looked up at my TV, I saw nothing but static.
I found my remote that was lying near my bed and decided to try and change the channel, but it wasn't working. I grunted as I got up and went to the TV. I turned it off, and then back on. I adjusted it a little bit and it was back to the original channel that I had set it on. I started to walk back and I heard "DON'T...COME...BACK"
I turned around and the static re-appeared. This time the screen was flickering. I swiftly used my left hand to reach for the ceiling fan light so I could see what was going on, but it wasn't working for some reason. I started to freak out a little bit. I rushed to my room door and opened it. It was dark. not just the hallway, but the whole house.
I took my phone out of my pocket and searched for the flashlight feature. I turned it on and decided to search the house. I couldn't turn on any lights for some reason. It was strange. Even the circuit box wasn't cooperating. I came up from the basement and closed the door. In addition I heard loud pops of static that sounded really close.
When I went to the stairs, I saw the TV sitting right in the middle of the hallway upstairs. The screen was popping and the static was extremely loud. I was puzzled at first because someone would have to be in the house to do such a thing. To move a physical object. The TV just stayed static. Was it even plugged up?
I started to head up the stairs to try and put it back on the stand. As I was walking the TV screeched. I slipped and fell down the stairs. My phone was somewhere, but it was too dark to see. That's when I looked upstairs and saw nothing.
I didn't know if I could still see it because I didn't hear anymore static. I finally had found my phone and decided to go check out my room. As terrified as I was, I walked back up the stairs, when I reached the top, the TV was gone once again.
My door was also shut, but I could hear sounds. It sounded like chanting. I was a bit curious, yet something was telling me not to go in. I ignored this feeling despite how I felt. I opened the door and everything was different. Their were statues of a mythical creature set on both the left and right side of my room. In the middle of the room, their were creatures that had hollow coats on. Their appearance was of an apparition. A shadow-like energy was floating off of them. The walls were pure gold, yet they were melting and faces were popping in and out. Everything I had was gone.
When I took a step forward, they all turned around. Then one of them spoke and said:
"WE...WARNED...YOU"
Then the door shut.
