IN WHICH, history has her eyes on October
Black, and it's up to her finish the job.

TO BE BLISSFULLY IGNORANT IS both a blessing and a curse, one that October Black will, unfortunately, never experience. She's not naïve, her mother raised her better, and with the death glares she's received in broad daylight, she's not allowed to be naïve. October Black is more than well aware that her pure existence is looked down upon in the majority of the wizarding world (but how the hell is that her fault?). She didn't ask to be born, she didn't choose her bloodline. It wasn't her fault that her father came from a powerful line of wizards and witches, and her mother was just a muggle-born; it wasn't her fault that her father had landed himself in Azkaban.

ALTHOUGH, FROM ALL THE STORIES that her mother, and cousin Andromeda told, it's clear as day that her family name is cursed. Between the few disowned ancestors and the fact that the majority of her last living (paternal) relatives are death eaters, October Black is more than convinced. Part of her finds humor in the situation though. For a family that would rather die than to be tainted with the blood of a muggle or half-blood, her ancestors are rolling in their graves with the idea that October Black is the sole heir.

AT THIS POINT IN HER LIFE, October Black thinks the whole thing to be a sick joke by the universe. She's an anomaly, a disgrace to her paternal ancestors, and truthfully, October is beginning to believe that the universe (the gods? fate? history? something. . .) has some sort of end goal that it wants her to complete. It only starts to make an ounce of sense as October gets to know her biological father, and she and her mother begin to realize that she's more like the man than they originally thought. (October Black is like a carbon copy of Sirius, and for some, that thought is terrifying).

HISTORY HAS HER EYES ON THE Black family, and as the last heir to the Most Ancient and Noble House of Black, it's up to October to complete the goal that History has. It's been in the making for generations, and in a non-official, non-prophetical way, October is the chosen one to break the Black family once and for all. Besides, it can't be all that bad when she's possibly falling in love with Hermione Granger. Can it?
