(We are all just going to pretend that kiss happened the night before the first day of junior year)

꧁꧂

Waking up the next morning is surprisingly harder than you may think when all you dream about is your superhero partners lips.

I had that stupid grin on my face the entire time I walked to school, and I noticed that same grin on Peter as he walked over.

"You seem to be in a good mood." I said calmly as I set my books in my locker. Peter rocked on the balls of his feet, shrugging.

"I had a good night." He said with a goofy smile.

"Oh really? Entertain me." I said, shutting the door and leaning in the cold metal. Peter shook his head gesturing that I should go first.

"Well if you must know, Parker." I started as we walked to class together. I leaned into his ear, a wicked smile on my face as I whispered a single word.

Well. Two words, I think.

"Spider-Man." Was all I said, leaving Peter Frozen in the middle of the hallway as I walked away, a grin on my face as I walked to class.

꧁꧂

I don't think I've ever seen Peter so nervous in his life. Either that or he was embarrassed, since his face was as red as Iron Man's suit.

I sat down in my usual spot across from him at the lunch table, Ned sitting next to Peter as a girl I assumed to be the decathlon member, Michelle Jones, sat at the end, face buried in her book.

"Peter you okay? You look like you just saw Princess Leia." Ned said with a snort as Peter shot him a terrified glance. I gave the two a confused look as I finished the rest of my taco, standing up and walking to the trash can.

Thanks to my new super-hearing, I was able to listen into Peter and Ned's discussion. Although I wasn't able to hear the start of their hushed conversation that definitely sounded frantic, I was able to hear the rest.

"We should stop staring before it gets creepy." Peter mumbled to Ned, who I can only assume nodded.

"Too late." Michelle said. "You guys are losers." I turned around, seeing Peter and Ned looking at her.

"Then why do you sit with us?" Ned asked, tilting his head.

"Because I don't have any friends." Michelle quickly went back to reading as I sat down, looking at them all.

I turned to Ned, giving him a very fake sheepish grin. "Hey Ned can I talk to you in private for a moment?" I noticed Peter's knuckles turn white out of the corner of  my peripheral vision, Ned glancing at Peter worriedly before nodding.

We both stood up, making our way to one of the empty halls.

"What are you guys hiding?" I said quickly, watching as Ned quickly grew more nervous.

"Hiding? W-what would be be hiding? There's nothing to hide! If anything we are hiding a body!" He said, coughing out a nervous laugh.

I frowned, crossing my arms as I raised a brow. "Did Peter tel you I kissed Spider-Man?" I gasped, my eyes widening as I smirked. "Oh my god Peter is jealous of Spider-Man isn't he!?"

My mind trailed off back to the day before one of Liz's parties, where Ned had blurred out Peter knowing Spider-Man. I had frowned, forgetting that Spider-Man had been given a job as an Avenger when I had stronger powers than a bug-boy.

Not that I'm jealous.

"Woah wait you missed Spider-Man?" Ned was definitely trying to hide the fact he already knew, looking around as I'd silently screaming for Peter to save him.

"Okay so he did tell you. Great. To be honest. It was an upside-down kiss. So it wasn't very good." I said, turning on my booted heel back to the cafeteria. "Maybe I can make Peter more jealous if I tried something else with Spider-Boy."

"Spider-Man." Ned mumbled, a smirk on my face as we walked back.

Michelle was gone, leaving Peter picking at his food alone. He smiled when he saw me before frowning at Ned, who whispered something in his ear.

"Hey Peter. I was wondering if after school-"

"Can't. I have plans." He cut off abruptly, standing up and walking out of the cafeteria. I turned to Ned, who was putting in a fake and terrified smile.

"What's his problem?" I said, growing suspicious as Ned quickly left.

I didn't know what.

But Peter was hiding something.

And I'll find it out if it kills me or not.

꧁꧂

The bell rang, and I watched as Peter quickly stood up, practically bolting out of the school. I followed in pursuit, watching as he dashed between the small alleyway of the school.

I peered around the corner, watching as Peter ripped his backpack open, taking out two cuffs that looked to contain something.

And that's when I froze.

He started stripping, reveal all too defined and toned abs and muscles, sending a shiver down my spine.

But that wasn't it.

I gasped silently as he pulled out the famous blue and red suit, shooting his backpack with a web and sticking it to the wall.

I slipped, quickly backing from his field of vision as he slipped on the mask.

I heard a sling noise, looking back to see Peter was gone.

Without anything to do, I quickly did the same, changing into my Phantom suit and flew in his direction.

I had yet to tap my earrings that contained an A.I. specifically designed for my suit and my voice only, which would faze a mask across my face with a tap of a tiny button.

As I did so, I watched Spider-Man swing up next to me, feeling myself tense up.

"Good afternoon, P- Spider-Man" I said, catching myself. "Care for patrolling?" I asked, turning to face him.

"Uh yeah. Yeah sure that sounds fine." He said.

How long until I tell him that I know? Do I tell him now and reveal to him who I am? Or do I wait it out-

"You alright, Phantom?" Spider-Man asked, kneeling on the roof of the apartment building. I floated up next to him, sitting down in the roof and dangled my legs off the edge.

"Lost in thought, I guess." I said. I felt a buzzing in my butt pocket. "Excuse me one moment." I said, standing up and walking away as I picked up my phone.

I frowned, accepting the call.

"Hello?"

{"Is this Felicity Dagger?"} The man on the phone asked. I turned to Spider-Man, who was looking down at the streets.

"Uh yeah this is she." I said, crossing my arm. "And you are?"

{"Oh how rude of me. I'm Happy Hogan."} He said, hearing a slight smile in his voice. He seems nice.

"Happy Hogan? As in Tony Stark's friend?" I saw Spider-Man's head snap in my direction out of the corner of my eye, a smirk crossing my face.

{"That's me. Listen, Tony would like to have a talk with you say, 5 PM tonight?"} he said, getting straight to the point.  I saw Spider-Man's suit eyes twitch, like he was trying to comprehend why I was speaking with this Happy person.

"Hey that sounds amazing! I would be honored to speak with him. Tell him I will be there around 5." I said quickly, hearing Happy say his goodbye as I hung up.

"Happy Hogan? Like Tony Starks friend?" Spider-Man said, sounding a bit baffled.

"What? You jealous because you were outright invited while I got a more professional call?" I said with a snicker. "Listen. I need to go get ready if I'm meeting Tony Stark. I'll catch you later." I said, flying up.

"Goodbye Phantom." He said, waving.

"Bye Parker."

I stopped, feeling my heart stop just as fast. I heard a nervous chuckle come from behind me as I slowly turned around.

"W-What?" He said, tilting his head.

"Spider. I said Spider. Like the arachnid. Yeah. Yeah that's what I said. BYE!" I didn't give him a chance to stop me as I was blasting my way home, my heart racing.

Shit. Shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit shit.

I practically shattered my balcony door as I sprinted into my secret closet, my hands rubbing up and down my face.

"Oh god I hope he doesn't figure out I know..."
