Ghost of a Chance
"You know, for a great beast, your hunger doesn't seem to be that much," Clint says as he hands the tremendous black dragon a slice of his bread. Dalinda, the great dragon, huffed out a cloud of black smoke as she nipped at the piece Clint had given her. The smoke went right into Clint's face, making him cough and wipe his face for sot.
"I know, Clint. But I can have a great appetite if I won't," she said and gulped down the slice before she stood up and walked into the training room where Cap was already training. "Hey, cap," Dalinda said as her claws tapped on the hardwood floor. Cap stopped beating the boxing sack and turned around to see the great dragon. "any mission today?" she asked as she let herself slide down at the cold wood floor. "Not that I know off," Cap said as he took his outlets off and strode over to her. "want to train with me?" steve asked as he glanced upon her.
The ghost of a smile played on the dragon's lips as she turned her fiery blue stare into his ocean blue ones. "that would be an honor," she said after a while as she raised herself on her strong legs before flapping gently with her wings. Steve smiled and got to his fighting stance. The great black dragon was much bigger than him, so that she would have that in advance. And probably her firepower and strength in general. Even tho Steve saw that he had very little chance of beating her, he still wanted to try. The two circled each other, sizing one up and waiting on who would hand the first blow. As expected, Cap was the first to attack.
He went to a kick in her shin, but that only earned a light groan and a pick-up by the neck of his partner. "Really? Shin kicking? I thought you knew better than to kick a dragon," Dalinda chuckled as The captain dangled from her mouth. She had the hem of his shirt between her firm lips; she flared nostrils puffing out warm air. "I thought it would have an adavngetde," steve admitted as he huffed and crossed his arms over his chest, knowing that he wouldn't get down on his own. Eventually was Steve's legs at the floor again. "Better luck next time, Cap," Dalinda said with a small smile as she walked out of the training room, heading to the helipad.
"Where are you going, Lady Dalinda?" thor asked as he looked up from whatever he was doing. "Im going on a flight; feel free to join" she shrugged, knowing well that the Asgardian prince could fly with the help of his hammer. Thor smiled as he stood up, summoning his hammer as he walked over to the great dragon. Soon the two found themselves on the helipad. Thor started swinging his hammer as Dalinda spread her wings out. They reached from one side of the helipad to the other and were just as black as her body. Just under where the leather was, her wings were light gray. Scars litherd a few places over her night-black skin, showing that she had fought battles.
"Let's go?" she said and glanced at the Asgardian, who smiled and jumped out. Soon they both were in the air, going up. Thor laughed as he chased the great dragon thru the clouds. "You're never gonna get me, Asgardian!" Dalinda shouted from her stance, flapping with her wings hard, so she was flying fast. Thor just laughed as he sped up to the great beast. But just as she said, he didn't catch up with her. So soon they flew at a steady pace. "come, I want to show you something." Dalinda said as she started her wings up, and thor followed her. Soon they were over the clouds. It was beautiful. Dalinda smiled at her friend's expression and let out a roar. The roar was neither angry nor sad, just happy.
