Animalistic Urges (Chapter 1:3)
Trivik's horrific face bunches up, and his eyes glow with a faint white as his form shifts. His body folds down on itself, and his smooth outline changes to a hairy one. Becoming the shape of a wolf, his eyes just as vast as in his preferred form, he turns to his sister, foaming at the mouth as his aura demands her to follow him. He turns around, his tail wagging like a wave building on an ocean horizon. The tail stretches out, connecting itself to the collar around Sun so Trivik's front paw can go back to himself.
With her drooped shoulders, Sun runs after her brother as he powerfully sprints through the city, his nails scraping against the stone of the main paths with each step. Trivik's ears shoot up as he listens to his surroundings closely, knowing one cannot see his sister in a mainly human state, as it could lead to disaster. To the eyes of the blind, those unable to see the Drevillik the Goddess of the Overworld hides from humanity, she appears like a headless body. But to the relief of Reapers, the Goddess insists all humans sleep at night in her scriptures, as she can't have them out when the Reapers hunt for Drevillik during the search for a host body.
To his joy, no steps echo off the walls of mud-brick buildings in the sleeping city. Sun breathes heavily while her brother continues his quick pace to the Drevillik she senses. Trivik feels the location he dwells in, absorbing the aura of knowledge his sister releases to the air.
Kill. I will kill the scum. The Drevillik will die!
Succumbing to his bloodlust, his desire, Trivik roars at the top of his lungs as a warning to the Drevillik he approaches. But this sound is not one made by any typical beast. He screeches like metal against metal that's mixed with the scream of an enraged man.
In response, the Drevillik shouts from a distance, his sound much like a woman in turmoil for dead kin. It's not the sound of tears, but of a mother damning the stars with expletives and omens in a frantic and purely hateful way.
Trivik's fangs bare while he grows and expands, his body of light morphing into his preferred form while he prepares himself for a fight. When one has fought against Drevillik as much as Trivik, being never, an expected reaction would be to tremble and immerse in soul-hardening adrenaline. But the man's training keeps his mind burning with the want to kill and his heart unwavering when met with a goal. And with his Drevillik urges, he is not one to be messed with without regret.
Trivik touches his massive hand to his wide chest, breathing out deeply when he recognizes his shift to be complete. Slowly, he walks forward. The rope connecting him to Sun sticks from his back, but he nods and accepts its placement. His right hand grasps onto it, tugging to force Sun to him.
She angrily strolls up to him, her thin legs weak from running. Her lungs fill and empty, and her massive mouth gapes while her ultramarine tongue sticks out, gathering the frigidity of the air. Trivik glides one of his fingers from her chin to her mid-chest, closing his eyes in thought for a second as he nods and huffs, turning around and jerking his head to suggest her to follow. Her lips part while she growls, but with a glare from her brother, she silences and gives in, tiredly walking on her throbbing feet.
Trivik holds himself up boldly, his shoulders broad and back tall. His legs and arms stiffen as he stretches, releasing another threat when he's prepared himself. With a returning curse, Trivik smirks and snorts, striding forward strongly.
He encroaches on the Drevillik, sensing his presence directly in front of him. Trivik comes upon the dead end of the stone path he stands on, a large, filthy wall spawning shadows to cover him and the Drevillik who leans his back against it. Brick buildings stand to the left and right, and Trivik lets out a ghastly, high-pitched chuckle in confidence since he found his enemy cornered.
