The next match was now determined as the screen finally stopped on the opponents for the next match.

Shiko Nara vs. Jairiya!

The next match is Shiko vs. Jairiya. Both opponents, come down and take your places!" She announced.

"Finally, it's my turn!" Jairiya cheered loudly.

"Oh, be quiet, Dobe, and get on down there already," I muttered in annoyance.

"Teme!" Jairiya said, annoyed but went and made his way down to the battle area.

I looked down at the area to see the familiar lazy Nara that was from our class walking down the stairs in opposite of Jairiya.

"The match between Shiko and Jairiya will now begin!" The proctor announced, signaling for the match to begin once both opponents arrived ready to battle.

I watched as Shiko and Jairiya threw shurikens at each other, countering each other. I looked at Shiko and noticed that her appearance had changed slightly from when we last graduated.

Shiko had a fair skin tone. She also had medium-length black hair tied back in a ponytail. As well as Onyx's round eyes. She wore a sleeveless white and black shirt with a zipper stopping before her neck and black pants. She also had on white and purple armbands. Her forehead protector was secured around her neck with the Hidden Leaf symbol on it. To finish off the outfit, she had on brown ninja sandals.

"Well, Shiko had a change in appearance," I said."Her hair used to be shorter, but it has grown, and she has a new outfit."

"I know the past year and a couple of months since graduation changed her appearance," Tsunade said, joining me up in the waiting area after leaving to get healed.

I nodded as I turned my attention back toward the match between Jairiya and Shiko. Jairiya charged forward, aiming a punch at Shiko, but she quickly jumped back, avoiding it and throwing kunai at Jairiya.

'She has impressive speed and seems to ne taking this more seriously than usual.' I thought, looking at Shiko and seeing she didn't change physically but mentally.

I looked back down to see that Shiko was avoiding every signal attack that Jairiya was throwing his way and continued to throw Shuriken and Kunai at him.

"What is she doing?" Tsunade questioned.

I narrowed my eyes as I watched Jairiya back on up near, avoiding the incoming shuriken and kunai being thrown at him as Shiko made a handsign.

'She has something planned.' I thought, waiting for her to make her move.

"She about to finally do something other than throw shuriken and kunai," Tsunade commented.

I nodded and then watched as a bunch of shadows bound around Jairiya, strangling him slightly.

"Shadow strangling justu!" Shiko said as she completed the justu.

"So that's what she was planning,' Tsuande commented.

"Yeah, she was cornering him so he couldn't avoid her incoming justu," I stated.

"I'm calling the match. The winner is Shiko Nara!" The proctor announced, pointing at Shiko.

"Hey, wait, I can still fight!" Jairiya exclaimed as Shiko freed him, holding his neck.

"Shut up, Jairiya, and just go get your medical treatment!" Tsunade shouted, glaring at him as the medics came to take him for treatment.

Jairiya groaned in dissatisfaction, but he finally walked away with the medics as Shiko headed back up with her teammates and sensei.

Soon the screen showed my name and my opponent.

Orochimaru vs.  Sakumo Hatake!

I glanced over to see a boy older than me and my teammates glanced at me. He had spiky silver hair.

"So my opponent is him, " I said to myself as I made it down the steps to fight my opponent.

"Alright, Oro show him who's boss!" Tsunade cheered.

'Strange female.' I thought to myself as I reached my side of the field.

Sakumo then arrived on the other side.

"The match between Orochimaru and Sakumo Hatake will now begin!"
