First meeting and lowly flirting
-your POV-
You just got off a cab that had taken you to the house your old friend Jessie lived. You had just moved here from Texas and learned that Jessie had become a nanny. You were proud of her that she at least got a job in a new city. It isn't exactly the most straightforward job—your parents were famous but not as renowned ad Morgan and Cristina Ross, of course. You had only seen them on the internet, so you looked forward to meeting h them em and their kids.
A doorman greeted you as you stepped inside. "Hello, I'm Tony; how can I help you?" He said and smiled. You smiled back and bowed your head a little. "I'm y/n Lee, and I'm here for my friend Jessie" his face lit up at the mention of your friend, and he opened his arms. "I can take you to her; just follow me," he said and led you to the elevator. You thanked him and took the elevator up to a floor.
Soon as the door opened, Jessie came running to greet you. "Oh y/n you're here!" She exclaimed and hugged you tightly. You chuckled and hugged her back. "Yes, I am," you said. She soon let go of you and started asking you all kinds of questions. "Jessie, I'll answer ad soon ad I can, I promise." You chuckled and walked into the kitchen and saw a man standing there. He looked up, confused. "Who's this?" He said. Jessie smiled as she introduced you. "This is y/n, my friend from Texas. Come y/n you gotta meet the kids!" And then she dragged you out for the kitchen again and me to the living room where a few kids were father.
"Kids! This is y/n, my friend I talked about," Jessie says, and the kids look up. I bow a little. "Hello kids, so good to finally meet you. I'm y/n as Jessie said," you said with a smile. Soon a somewhat tall girl with blonde locks came over to you and offered her hand for a shoe, and you took it. "I'm Emma, so nice to meet you too" you shook hands with all of them. Luke, the boy with freckles and a flirty attitude, attempted to flirt with you, but you shrugged him off.
"Sorry kid, I'm not interested," you said as he tir d once again. Jessie chucked and left you to the room you would be staying in. "Wow, this is beautiful!" You exclaim as you look aorund the room. "Thank you," you said and hugged Jessie. "Of course, what are friends for?" She said and broke the hug. "I'll give you time to unpack and then call you down for dinner; sounds fine?" You nodded, and she headed downstairs. You turned to your bed and placed your bag on it, and sighed before starting to pack out.

The next few days went fast. You hung out with Jessie, but since she was the nanny for the kids, it was rare there was only time for us. Tony and you quickly became good friends, but you could see he had an eye for Jessie. You did not care about me; you were just happy that Jessie could get some. Luke tried daily, and afterward, you got used to it. Finally, you were just out in the park. You sat with Jessie and Emma while Zuri played around with her invisible friends. Ravi's lizard, Mr. Kipling, was friendly and tried not to eat you but rather get attention.
"Y / n, have you been drawing anything new lately?" Jessie said, and you looked at her. "yes, actually, now that you mention it." you took out your bag and found Scribble your book and gave it to Jessie. she flipped through it and knew Emma drawings she liked. "wow you just get better!" she exclaimed and handed you the book back. You smiled and started drawing something in it. what, you did not know. "hey Y / N, do you want to play with us in the ready stand?" Luke said as he approached you. you shrugged your shoulders. "surely," you put down the book and followed him and saw that Ravi and Mr. Kipling were already there. "so what are we going to do?" you asked, grabbing one of the knobs of the stand. "What do you want? We can talk too," Luke said and smiled.
