they were now walking in pairs, as yena suggested.

with chaeyeon and eunbi taking the lead, there was no tension anymore as  they talk. "are you sure there's no one guarding the back door?" chaeyeon asked.

"yes, the guards are in the main part of the mall, but they'll die later if i instruct my gang to kill them." eunbi spoke casually, making chaeyeon gulp, eunbi was indeed intimidating, she has this aura that makes them feel like they're about to be killed by her anytime. eunbi noticed this and smiles bitterly. "i din't get why you guys don't trust me at all. am i that scary?"

chaeyeon was taken a back, but soon enough spoke, "to be honest, yes. you're more than intimidating that i feel like you'll kill all of us anytime." chaeyeon says, making eunbi sigh and stop walking. "i don't know what to say, but trust me. i'll make sure everyone will survive even if my life depends on it." her reply made chaeyeon smile as they continue to walk, she realized that eunbi's a softie. "why are you doing this? i mean, you're a gang leader, you kill people even if you don't know them. don't get me wrong.."

"i don't even know," eunbi chuckles, "but i feel like we're meant to be together, and i feel like the need of saving you innocent people."

"hey, can i hug you? i... i just wanted to thank you for saving us." chaeyeon says, which made eunbi taken aback, but smiled and nodded. they shared a soft hug and a smile. "stay at the back with that sakura, i think you guys can guard the last part, and bring that hyewon girl to me, she's good at picking locks." chaeyeon nods, heading at the back to where sakura is.

behind eunbi were yujin and wonyoung, since hyewon still wasn't with eunbi and chaeyeon left already, she decided to take a step back and walk beside wonyoung, who was instantly scared and held yujin's hand tightly. "chill out kid, i won't hurt you." eunbi gives a re-assuring smile, which made wonyoung smile back. yujin spoke, "i'm sorry for acting like a dick awhile ago, i was being insensitive." yujin gave a small bow as eunbi smiled, "it's okay, i understand. i'll be taking the lead so you won't have to worry. and i like your fighting skills, you know how to use a gun very well." eunbi praises yujin which made wonyoung nudge yujin teasingly.

yujin chuckled a bit before speaking, "well my dad owns a gun shop so he's been training me." eunbi just nodded and spoke, "listen, yujin. can i trust you with guns?" eunbi's reply made yujin taken a back. "hmm... maybe? i mean if it's for everyone in here then yes." yujin says.

eunbi grabs something from her bag and showed her an elite revolver, it was a rare type of revolver that can easily kill a person due to its sharp bullets, yujin knew what the gun was and her eyes sparkled, "i-is that for me?" eunbi nodded, "you'll be needing that, you'll have to be staying behind or beside me since you'll help me with shooting some dickheads" yujin got nervous, of cousre. but if it was for them, and for wonyoung then she's up for it.

eunbi hands it to her and walked back to the front as soon as hyewon arrived.

wonyoung nudged yujin, "i told you she's kind." yujin couldn't agree more. "with this gun, i'll make sure you're alive until tomorrow, wonyoungie." wonyoung smiled, pecking yujin's cheek which made yujin blush, it made wonyoung blush too.

behind wonyoung and yujin were yena and yuri, who were debating. "you look like a duck" yuri argued, which made yena argue back, "no i'm not!"  yuri smacks yena's head, "shut up, ducks don't talk! you're ruining the illusion!" yena smacks yuri's arm, "what a bitch! you're lucky i love you-" yena covered her own mouth at her sudden confession, but yuri seemed to catch up what the duck said, it instantly made yuri blush.

"did you just confess?" yuri spoke, which made yena blush harder, "w-what...no! i-i said... ugh fine. yeah, i love you. you happy now jo yuri?" yena stutters, as it was now or never, confessing doesn't need to be romantic anyways, love is all they need. without hesitating, yuri held yena's face and pecked her lips,

which earned some disgusted sounds from minju and chaewon, since they were unlucky enough to be behind them and hear the sudden confession. "get a room you two!" minju shouts, which made the two look at them with a blush. "you know you guys can just do the same." yena teasingly smirked which made minju smack her back. "shut up" minu blushed at the thought of kissing her girlfriend.

chaewon smirked, "i mean yena's right, we could do the same-"

"kim chaewon shut the fuck up" chaewon immediately pouted, and minju saw this and gave her a fast peck. "you happy now?" chaewon blushed at minju's action and hugged her girlfriend sweetly. "i fucking love you kim minju, now let's survive together."

while almost everyone was flirting, there were specifically two people who seemed awkward to each other, and it was no other than hitomi and nako.

they felt awkwardness until nako decided to talk, "so, uh, hitomi. what did you uhh feel when you saw the killers getting killed infront of us?"

hitomi just shrugged, she wasnt in the mood to talk to her ex. yes, they WERE in a relationship for five months, which obviously didnt work out. "look, i get that we're very distant but please, not now. not in the middle of this stupid legalized purge."

hitomi nodded, "fine. i was scared, i thought we were about to die, if it werent for eunbi then i guess we're already dead by now."

nako replies, "i agree. but i feel like chaeyeon is also gonna be of great help, she's good at fighting too. same as yujin, i like her."

i like her. hitomi felt a small pang in her heart. nako likes yujin? when? how? but then hitomi realizes she was hurt so she shook it off with a nod.

"as for me, i like chaewon, she's really kind for helping me grab my heavy bat." hitomi says, trying to make nako jealous. she doesnt even know why she's saying that as if it was true.

nako is jealous. "oh...you didnt have to tell me that."

nako sighed, they broke up for just one simple thing.

trust.

hitomi is very possessive, she gets jealous easily.

nako still loves hitomi.

hitomi still loves nako.

but they lack that one thing, trust.

"hey hyewon, eunbi told me to let you go with her since you're good at picking locks." chaeyeon spoke, making hyewon nod and leave.

the two had an awkward silence, mainly because they dont know each other.

chaeyeon was the first one to break the silence, "so sakura, are you good at guns?" she asked.

sakura nods, "yes i am."

"thats good-"

"but...in fortnite." chaeyeon face palmed, which made sakura chuckle, "kidding, i can use guns."

chaeyeon stares at a chuckling sakura  and she swore her heart skipped a beat.

chaeyeon was still staring, and sakura did the same. it was as if they were staring inside each other's eyes.

there was something, love at first sight? hell no. chaeyeon thought, which made her shake her head and look somewhere else.

sakira realized they were still staring and blushed, also looking somewhere else.

chaeyeon fake coughed, "i dont wanna be awkward, so how about we introduce ourselves, who knows, we might become-"

"bestfriends" they said at the same time, which made them both laugh.

they both talked until they felt comfortable to each other.

on the other hand, hyewon was now beside eunbi.

"stop staring at me, i might melt." hyewon blushed when eunbi caught her. hyewon has been staring at her since a while ago, when chaeyeon and eunbi had a small feud. "i wasnt even staring" she defends herself.

eunbi smirked, "do you find me intimidating like how the others look at me?"

hyewon fell silent. thinking if she found her intimidating. "no."

eunbi was taken aback, she was expecting for a yes like how everyone answered. "really?" eunbi smiled.

hyewon looked ahead, "yes. i admire your braveness. im not scared of you,"

"i trust you."

eunbi's heart beated faster. she had never felt this way, she's known to be cold hearted, she never fell in love, she never felt this way.

maybe she felt like this because hyewon was the only person who said that trusted her.

eunbi smiled even more, "thank you for trusting me."

her smile is beautiful. "no problem, and i think you should smile often, you look good in it. i mean youre beautiful even if you dont smile but youre prettier when you smile--" hyewon realizes what she just said and immediately slapped her self. "oh shit she might think I'm gay, well im gay but- ugh" hyewon muttered.

meanwhile eunbi blushed, smiling brightest, hyewon's words made her heart flutter a bit. no one has ever said that to her.

no one but han chowon.

her smile immediately dropped, as she remembers her first love, her only love, the reason why she joined this stupid purge.

hyewon saw how eunbi's smile drop, "hey, are you alright?" eunbi nods, still not smiling. hyewon just sighed.

eunbi stopped, which made hyewon stop too, and everyone as well.

right infront of them was the door, the door to the mall.

everyone were getting nervous.

what if there were killers inside?

what if we'll all die there?

everyone were thinking the same.

"everyone gather up." eunbi ordered, and everyone had no choice but to follow. eunbi was the most experienced and the oldest, almost everyone were barely young teenagers.

"raise your hand if you wanna live." everyone raised their hands, of course they will.

"we're going to enter the most dangerous area, the mall. so stop being pussies and fight if you have to, except for wonyoung, you're too young, stay behind yujin, she's skilled. and nako."

"what, why me?" nako wonders, she's 2 years older than the two youngest in the clan.

eunbi just shrugged, while yena spoke, "maybe because you're too small to fight." everyone laughed, which made nako raise her middle finger to them.

yena wasnt having it though, "even your middle finger is cute." they laughed, which just made nako laugh, rhey were getting comfortable to each other and that was good.

"okay, enough with the rainbows and giggles. we need to step in before another gang does."

"bummer" chaewon spoke, which made eunbi glare at her, but smiled a bit after. "i have to, im the oldest and i feel like i hold a lot of responsibility." everyone agreed.

"i want hyewon--"

"YOU WANT HYEWON?! WOAH THAT'S TOO SPEED-" yena gets cut off by a small slap on her shoulder by yuri.

everyone laughed again.

eunbi facepalmed, "that's not what i meant. i want hyewon and yujin right behind me. since they can use a gun. minju behind yujin and chaewon behind minju. yena will be behind yujin, she's skilled in guns too. since hitomi mentioned earlier that she can use and operate guns, she'll be behind yena. sakura and chaeyeon, i trust you guys at the back. while the youngest, will be between hyewon and yujin. yuri will be behind wonyoung and nako behind yuri. chaeyeon and sakura will have guns with them at the back."

they all agreed and fixed their positions.

hyewon succeeds in opening the locked door, they all took a deep breath.

with eunbi's lead, they went inside the door.

that's where the climax will arrive.
