ACT 𝕴: Forsaken.
act one / forsaken.
𝔒 nce, there was the most beautiful creature of all that could be beautiful beneath The Mother's Hand. She called him Mita, for his form was a gift, a promise, a reflection of what could not be grasped by mortal eyes. His limbs flowed like rivers of light, yet they were anchored with the elegance of marble statues. Wings stretched from his back and his legs, each feather a twisting lattice of starlight and shadow, their tips unfurling as delicate blooms of glass. Yet they were not wings alone, for from his ears sprouted soft appendages that whispered like the wind over meadows, each motion a quiet hymn to the unseen.
His face was lovelier than dawn breaking over jeweled seas [...] a visage so fair it pierced the soul of all who dared look too long. The soft curve of his cheeks, the gentle pout of his lips, and the cascade of ginger curls like copper waterfalls sang of unearthly beauty. Across his body, countless eyes shone like scattered jewels—amethyst, sapphire, emerald, and ruby—opening and closing as if alive, each one a fragment of eternity's gaze. To see him was to glimpse both joy and sorrow made flesh.
And yet, though his splendor was vast, he bore no arrogance. His Maker loved him very well, and too did his best friend, L'varakith.
