I was woken up to the sound of my alarm ringing loudly. I stood up and turned it off. I got changed and got ready for school. Then I headed downstairs to eat breakfast.

My mother was most likely in the kitchen since she's the one that cooks every meal. "Guess What Mom, Elli arrived" I heard Liliana say. Liliana is my older sister, she's a 25 year old female. "Oh good morning dear! How did you sleep?" My mother immediately responded.

"Good morning mom! Morning sis! I slept fine, thank you for asking!" I said in return. "No problem dear!" My mother said. I felt the space of an empty chair and sat down.

Hello everyone! My name is Elliot Avery Shimmers, a 17 year old male. I was born on May 13, 2002. My zodiac sign is Taurus ♉️. Now when I was born it was found that I had been born blind.

"Lili dear could you drive your brother to school?" I heard my mom ask after I was done eating. "But mom!-" Liliana started to protest but was cut off by our mom "Now". "No mom it's fine, I can walk" I said before either could say anymore. "Ya let him walk" Liliana quickly agreed. I knew mom was glaring at her, I didn't even need sight to know that. "Are you sure Elli?...Don't you remember what happened last time..." my mother said in a more concerned tone.

Last time I had walked alone to school I ended up lost. I remember my mother and Liliana had been extremely worried. Usually Liliana drives me but she always makes a argument over it.

"I'm sure mom! Trust me! I'll be fine!" I replied with confidence. "Alright Darling if you insist..." my mother said with hesitation. "Bye mom I love you!" I said as I walked out the door. "Bye dear! I love you! Be safe!" My mother called back.

~~In the middle of Elliot's walk to school~~

I wasn't sure how far I had walked or if I took a wrong turn but it felt like I went the wrong way. I was slowly getting more worried.

Maybe I should have just let Lili drive me to school...

"Hey you!" I was startled when I heard someone shout that. I turned around knowing that someone was behind me due to where I heard there voice. "Uh y-yes?" I responded not really sure if I should talk to them. "One, who are you? Two, why are you so far out here? I mean you look like a high school student but your far from any high school in the area..." the person replied.

WHAT?! OH GOD!

"Well yes I am a high school student-"

"So you're skipping?"

"WHAT?! NO! NEVER!"

"Then why are you out here?"

"Can you just help me get to Riverside High?" I sighed. "Riverside High? That's your school? How did you end up so far away from it?!" The person sounded surprised. "Just answer my question! If I don't hurry up I'll be late!" I was starting to get annoyed. "Sure I mean I go to Riverside High after all so it's no problem for me." The persons statement shocked me. "You go to Riverside High?!" I asked. "Ya! The name is Jayden West! I'm a Junior!" Jayden said with pride in his voice. "My names Elliot...Elliot Grace...I'm also a Junior" I said hesitantly. "Nice to meet you Elliot!" Jayden quickly replied. "Nice to meet you too..." I responded. "Well let's head to Riverside High!" Jayden said. "Wait!..." I said with nervousness. "Yes?" Jayden said in a questionable way. "Well I'm sort of...blind...so could you maybe give me your hand so it's easier for me to follow you?..." I didn't want to hold his hand but I knew it would be way easier to get to school. "Oh!...Sure!..." I couldn't tell if he was happy or upset about my request but soon he had his hand in mine and we were walking.

♏️ Jayden's POV ♏️

The walk to school was fine. Mainly Elliot was silent so I would be the one who had to start a conversation. I understand that you might not want to trust everyone you meet because of predators and stuff. Now that I think about it, it would be easier for a blind person to get kidnapped by a predator pretending to be a high school student. But Elliot could trust me because I wasn't lying about anything I said. Although I wasn't going to force his trust.

"Alright Elliot! We have arrived at Riverside High!" I said stopping in front of the school. Elliot took his hand away from mine quickly. "Is there anything else you need-" before I could finish my sentence Aurora ran up and hugged me while yelling "Hey Jay!!!!".

"Oh hey Aurora!" I said looking to see the junior with a smile on her face. "I missed you so so much! Why didn't you call or text me yesterday?!" Aurora said with concern. "Oh I'm sorry! I was busy with homework last night and sort of fell asleep after finishing it!" I said in response. "Oh well!-" before Aurora finished her eyes landed on Elliot and she gasped.

"Jay who is this?!" Aurora excitedly ran over to Elliot and shook his hand violently. Elliot pushed away from her with a glare. "Aurora this is Elliot!but he's blind so maybe don't run up and do that to him next time?..." I said with a nervous smile.

"Oh! I'm sorry! I didn't know!" Aurora said with guilt. "It's fine..." Elliot said coldly. "Well it's nice to meet you Elliot! I'm Aurora!" Aurora said. "Ya nice to meet you too..." Elliot responded.

"Jay! Do you wanna head to class with me?" Aurora turned to me with a happy expression. "Oh! Uh..." I said with a few thoughts in my mind.

Does Elliot need anything before I leave for class?

"Elliot, do you need anything else?" I asked turning towards him. "Oh well...I don't want it to be a bother to you..." Elliot said. "No no! If you need anything please tell me!" I said immediately. "I was kind of wondering if you could walk me to class...it's just usually my sister does but she isn't here..." Elliot said. "Oh sure! I can walk you to class!" I said with a smile.

"B-But Jay...you always walk with me to class..." Aurora sounded upset. "I'm sorry Aurora...maybe tomorrow?..." I replied. "O-ok..." Aurora said and started walking away.

"You ready to go to class?" I asked Elliot. "Ya..." he responded and held out his hand. I took his hand and started walking with him to class.

♊️ Aurora's POV ♊️

I watched as Jay led Elliot to class with jealousy. I wasn't trying to come off as petty or selfish it's just...I've had a crush on Jay since 6th grade! Plus we've been friends since 1st grade. I imagined that I'd be more important than some new guy he met.

I sighed and tried to get everything off my mind.

"Hey Aurora!" I heard a voice from behind me. I turned and saw Angel standing there. "Hey Angel..." I replied with less happiness. "You alright?..." Angel said with worry. "Not really..." I responded. "What's wrong?..." Angel said. "Jay met someone and walked him to class instead of me...I know I'm acting selfish but he has no idea how much I love him..." I said with sadness.

"Well He has to met new people and make other friends sometimes Aurora..." Angel said more seriously. "I know Angel...it's just hard with him not even aware I have a crush on him...and choosing someone else over me..." I muttered. "I'm pretty sure we all know how that feels Aurora..." Angel replied.

"Ya your right...you wanna walk to class with me?..." I asked her. "I'd love to!" She said with a smile. We both started walking to class.

♎️ Angel's POV ♎️

It made me upset when I saw Aurora sad. She deserves so much happiness instead of heartache. Although I can't say that I haven't felt the same way she has...I have a crush on Aurora...she barely even notices...but if Jay makes her happy than I should be happy for her...plus she's straight anyways...however I haven't told her my sexuality which is lesbian...actually no one knows...not even my family...I'm scared of what they'll say...

"Bye Angel! I had a lovely time walking with you!" Aurora said with a beautiful smile. I could tell I was blushing. "I-it's no problem! B-bye!" I said quickly walking away before Aurora noticed.

How can one girl be that gorgeous?...

Aurora was absolutely the prettiest girl in our whole school. She's also quite popular among both genders for her lovely personality.

My class was right across from Aurora's so it wasn't too long till I was in the classroom. I sat at my desk and waited till the bell rang.

♈️ Elliot's POV ♈️

I was sitting at my desk writing notes down as the teacher spoke. "Tonight for homework you guys and girls have to work on page's 122 and 300" the teacher said noticing the time. A few minutes afterwards the bell rang. I could tell others were leaving as I walked out the door. "Elliot!" I heard someone shout and than walk over to me. "It's me Jayden! I wanted to see how class was for you!" Jayden said happily. "It was fine thanks for asking. How was yours?" I replied. "Mine was boring" Jayden complained. "Well that must suck" I said back.

"Wow not even a little sympathy?" Jayden said with a surprised tone. "Not when your complaining." I responded. "Fair point" Jayden said back.

(By the way, I skipped the whole class meaning it's the end of the day)

"Hey do you want me to walk you home?" Jayden asked. "Oh uh...sure I guess..." I replied. "Alright welp let's head to your house then!" He said taking my hand and starting to walk with me.

♏️ Jayden's POV ♏️

We were almost at the entrance gate of the school when I heard Aurora say "Jay!!!". She ran up to us with a big smile. "Hey Aurora!" I said. "Hi! I haven't seen you all day so I was hoping that we could hang out today!" She replied. "Oh...I'm sorry I can't today...how bout tomorrow?" I said in response. "O-oh...ok...ya tomorrow..." she replied with a sad tone. "Cya tomorrow then Aurora!" I said and started to walk away with Elliot. "Bye!" I heard her call back.

~30 minutes later~

Eventually we arrived at Elliot's house although we almost got lost because it was hard for Elliot to give me the directions. "Well we're here! I'll see you tomorrow ok Elli?" I said. "Elli?..." he repeated the nickname. "Oh I forgot to tell you, I decided to call you Elli for short however if you don't like that I can call you Elliot!" I responded quickly. "Oh no it's fine you can call me Elli it's just I didn't expect you to give me a nickname" He said. "Also it was nice walking with you, thanks for taking me home!!" Elliot said giving me a smile.

"No problem!" I responded with a smile. "Bye Jay!" Elliot said walking up to his house and knocking on the door. I assumed it was his mom who answered the door. "Bye Elli!" I said before he went inside. After he was inside his house and the door was closed I walked to my house.

I got out my phone when I was halfway home and texted Aurora.
