I knew Mado and Amon weren't coming. They just set me up, of course. Why would people who were against ghouls help a ghoul?
"I will ask you once more. What are you doing in my territory?" The guy pushed me up a brick wall by the throat.
I wanted to tell him that I knew nothing, but only choking sound came out.
"ARRRRUGG!" I screeched, flailing my legs, my foot meeting with his jaw with a satisfying crack.
"YOU BITCH!" He stumbled back, holding his jaw, somehow snapping it back into place. I dropped, landing on my side, coughing and holding my sore neck.
"What's your name?" He growled, kicking my stomach with enough force to make me cough blood out.
"(Y- Y/n)," I spluttered out. "(Y/n) (L/n)."
"Hmph, how pretty... so sad that I'll have to kill........" he paused, leaning next to me, dipping his finger in the blood pooling from my mouth, then stuck it in his mouth. "How sweet. No wonder you smell so delicious... are you a human?"
"If I was a human, why would I eat another human?" I cried out, forgetting the twisting pain in my gut.
He froze. Something flashed behind him, and in a second there was blood. That one woman from the cafe came in between us and kicked the male into the brick wall behind him.
"I'm always saving ghouls like you," she muttered.
"Ghouls like... me?" I shakily stood up, much to the protests of my organs and limbs.
"Half ghoul," she sneered. "Just like Kaneki."
Kaneki? Who's that? I stared at my bloodied hands from sticking them in the pool of it next to me. It did smell sweet...
My phone all of a sudden started ringing, which made me surprised that it had survived the beatings.
"You better take that," the woman scoffed, heading towards the human body that Mado laid out for me and started feasting on it.
"Hello?" I leaned on the wall, coughing.
"Get back here. It's past curfew. we don't want stronger ghouls to find you without us," I heard Amon.
"'Kay," I hummed in the phone, hanging up and putting it back in my pocket. "I'd like to tussle some more with you all, but I have to go, see ya," I ran off and away from the two stunned ghouls.

"Do you know how to use your gleam?" Mado circled me, cackling like a maniac now and then.
"Uh...no," I was tightening my ponytail.
"Well let's start with the basics, shall we?!" He grinned. "This," he pointed to my right eye, "is the kakugan. It's your red iris with the black sclera," his hand covered my right eye. "You can make it appear whenever you want."
"And these are where your kagune appear," he touched in between my shoulder blades, my upper back, lower back, and my waist. "Depending on which type you are, they appear in different areas."
"Try to use your gleam," Amon tightened his grip on the suitcase holding his quinque.
"How?' I looked him in the eye.
"Pretend we're here to kill you," he growled, clicking a button, bringing out his quinque.
He striked at me, and my natural reaction was to dodge. Mado took out his quinque, also going after me.
I felt something rush through me, and everything turned into a hazy red. I was dodging at surprisingly fast rates, running around.
"AH! AN UKAU KAGUNE!" Mado laughed. I didn't stop, actually... I felt like going farther.
"(Y/n), stop!" Amon called out to me, but his words slurred together. A huge smirk slashed on my lips, and I struck towards them.
"D- Har- m.. er!" I tried to understand Amon, but all I could hear was (F/n) cheering me on, telling me to kill them.
"You can kill them. Show them that they can't use you as a weapon against your own kind," (F/n) stood next to me as I stared at the two, insanity showing on my face and running in my head. "Show them that they can never control you."
I ran towards them at incredible speed, spikes shooting out at them from behind me.
Mado slashed his weapon towards me, and I jumped in the air, over him, then stood behind him, ready to strike again.
"Damn! Why'd we get a speed ghoul? Much less a ghoul who can't control herself?" Amon shouted, running towards me, his quinque ready to bear down on me.
"She has potential," Mado laughed behind me.
"You can't use me as a weapon!" My words were mixed in with (F/n)'s as we shouted the same thing.
Right when they struck again, I ran.
"You can run, missy (Y/n), but we'll find you!" Mado cackled
Their shouting grew fainter, and the farther I got away, the more tired I became.
Though I had just eaten, flesh sou- wait. NO!
Shaking my head, I shook (F/n) to the back of my conscience. My energy suddenly felt sapped, and before everything started to blur together, I was able to make out the cafe that (F/n) and I went to months ago, before all of this had happen, before I passed out.

"Tsk tsk... (Y/n)... you should've killed them," (F/n) sighed, circling her finger aound the edge of a wine glass filled with blood.
"No..." I shook my head.
"Why not? You are a ghoul. They despise us!" She complained.
"Because I'm half human, which means I'm in the middle of all of this," I whispered, looking at the two plates in front of me. One filled with (f/f) and the other with a human arm.
"There are many more half ghouls, maybe you can make it so we can live at peace together," (F/n) smirked, "or you can destroy society."
"Do you know of the half-ghouls?!" I asked her, hopeful.
"That boy... black hair... the one hanging around with Rize," (F/n) growled, squeezing the wine glass and shattering it. No one in the restaurant minded, strangely.
"Stay away from him," she spoke quietly.
"Why?" I furrowed my eyebrows, picking at my food.
"You two would destroy the world. One half, plus the other half," she darkly grinned, her kakugan coming out, "you two would be invincible!"
She started laughing.
"Nevermind the first part! Find the boy!" She grabbed my shoulders, giving me a crazy look, coming closer. Then, right before she caught be in her dark trance, I was awakened by familiar and new voices.
