  It's been a while since anyone had gone hunting besides Grandpa Slender. Everyone else has stayed inside most of the time since they're still healing. My dad goes out to see my mom most days, but I've also noticed he's been staying out later than he usually does. Sometimes he won't come back until maybe 6:00 am!!!! We usually go to bed around maybe 3:00. Tonight I decided to follow him to see what he's doing. Kagekao and Painter decided to come with me.
  "I'm so glad you decided to come with us Painter." I smiled holding Painter's hand. Kagekao wasn't happy about it but I didn't care.
  "Yeah. It's been a while since me and you hung out." Painter smiled down at me. Damn you tall people!!! Well I'm not short it's just that every guy here is like 6'3 and I'm like 5'7. That's not fair! Well every boy except BEN. He's like 5'3. Maybe even 4'5. Idk. I never had the time to measure him. Fuck it. He's short. You get the idea.
  "Yeah. It's my fault though. I'm such an idiot." I sighed loosing my grip on his hand, trying to pull my hand away. Painter wouldn't let me. He held my hand tightly but gently.
  "Don't blame yourself. Let's just enjoy our time together." Painter smiled.
  I looked up at him and smiled with a nod.
  "HEY LOVER BOY!!! DID YOU FORGET MANAMI'S ACTUAL BOYFRIEND IS RIGHT HERE??!!!!" Kagekao yelled from behind us.
  I giggled and let go of Painter's hand real quick and stepped back to Kagekao, giving him and kiss on his cheek. "Happy you baby?"
  He rolled his eyes. "Yeah I guess."
  I giggled and went back to walking with Painter holding my hand.
  We almost reached my mom's grave when I felt something wrap around my ankle. I looked down and saw what looked like a white rope around my ankle. I pulled my ankle away and the end of it came out. It's not a rope... it's a damn snake!!!
  I kicked my ankle around hoping it would let me go but no, it crawled up my leg and I felt something else around my neck. I gasped for help.
  Kagekao pulled on whatever was around my neck and Painter pulled at the snake around my ankle.
  Suddenly, the snake and whatever was around my neck stopped but they didn't let me go.
  "Kao. Painter. Stop." I whispered. They did as told. I put my hand around my neck and felt something crawl into my hand and up my wrist. I took my hand away from my neck and saw a skeleton of a snake.

  I let out a small gasp as it crawled up my arm. I steadied my breathing and picked up my leg, using my other hand to pick up the white snake. I noticed that the skeleton snake had been growing skin as I picked up the other snake. They were now almost identical.

The one on the right is the skeleton snake and the one on the left is the other one.

  "Manami. I know what you're thinking. No. We are not keeping them!" Painter yelled.
  "But I already named them!!" I whined.
  "I think it'll be good for her to have pets. Besides Seed Eater since he's always around EJ." Kagekao shrugged.
  "Two against one. I win! Sorry Painter!" I smiled.
  "Fine but you're not naming that skeleton one Sans. Or Papyrus." Painter groaned.
  I groaned. "You suck!"
  "You don't even know how to tell their gender." Painter pointed out.
  "One girl one boy." I stated.
  "How do you know?" Kagekao asked lightly running his hand over the head of the male.
  "Well first off, males have thicker tails than females and Skeltor over here has a thin tail compared to the other so I'm guessing the other is a boy." I explained.
  "Huh. That's cool." Kao smiled.
  "Are you seriously naming the girl Skeletor?" Painter laughed.
  "No. Of course not. Her name is Luu Luu. It's the name of a type of snake that is nicknamed the ghost snake." I smiled. (Luu Luu is pronounced Loo Loo.)
  "You've done your research on snakes haven't you?" Painter rolled his eyes.
  "Kinda. I find them interesting."
  "So Luu Luu and..."
  "King. King reminds me of a King Cobra and those are just badass like these two." I smiled.
  "Alright then. King and Luu Luu." Painter nodded.
  Both of my new pets wrapped themselves around my shoulder as we walked around the forest. Sometimes King would jump off my shoulder and hunt a large ass wolf. I guess just like Luu Luu, King's power is killing things ten times bigger than him. He also seems to grow more powerful with each kill. After a while, he got tired and wrapped himself around my shoulder again.
  "Hey Manami. Can you tell Luu Luu not to stare at me. She's creeping me out." Painter shivered.
  I laughed as I pet Luu Luu's head. She let out a gentle hiss.
  "Do you think you're dad would be ok with this?" Kagekao asked.
  "He can't say no."
  "Oh really? Why is that?" Painter asked.
  "Because if he says no o can pull out my trump card." I smirk.
  "And what's your trump card?"
  "How come he gets a giant child eating bird-human hybrid and I can't have two snakes?" I smirk as I pet King's head.
  "Shit girl you right." Painter laughed.
  "Alright. I guess he has no choice. There's no arguing with that is there?" Kao smiled. "That's my girl."
  "Bitch I ain't nobody's girl besides my mom's. Back off!" I said playfully with a large amount of sass.
  "Damn." Painter chuckled.
