  After Kagekao walked one back home, the sun was rising. Kagekao's hand would repeatedly brush against mine. Sometimes, his fingers would go between mine as if hesitating to grab my hand.
  Once we got back, a bunch of the girls started asking me and Kagekao questions about what happened. I saw Helen in the background, glaring at Kagekao.
  "Come on Manami. Let's head to bed." Kagekao said putting a hand on my shoulder.
  I nodded and we walked upstairs to my room. Well more like our room.
  I jumped onto my bed and hugged one of my pillows.
  "Ready to head to bed?" He asked.
  "Yeah. I guess." I said pulling my legs to my chest.
  "Still thinking of Painter?" He asked.
  "Yeah."  I said sadly.
  "Don't worry. Everything will work out just, trust me. Tomorrow, I will make everything better. I promise." He smiled.
  I sighed and hugged him. "Fine. I trust you."
  "Wow. That's something I never thought you of all people would say." He laughed.
"Shush." I giggled as I laid back in my bed and crawled under my blankets. Kagekao watched me as he stood up. I rolled myself into my blankets knowing it gets cold at night.
  Kagekao bent over me and planted a light kiss on the side of my head then walked back to his bed. I rolled over so I faced him.
  "Hey Kage?" I called.
  Kagekao laid down on his bed as he covered himself in the blankets. "Yes Manami?"
  "Can you come lay with me? I get it if you don't want to get back up." I shrugged.
  He nodded and got back up. I walked over to me and laid down by my side. I scoot away from him but he just scooted closer.
  "Back off. " I growled.
  He shook his head as one of his arms found their way around me. He pulled me close to him.
  "Go to sleep." He said as he took off his mask and closed his eyes.
  I nodded and did as told. I fell asleep in Kagekao's arms. Kagekao kept me close to him. I fell asleep with a light smile and my arms around Kagekao.
