Omkara's POV

After lot's of research I got only a solution for getting the big Kapoor project. Though I'm definitely not ready for that but I need to plan something.

Why do people think an unmarried guy as incapable?

I know myself better than anyone and I m very much Responsible person. Doing way better than I had ever planned. Don't know being married gives what kind of assurity to the clients.

I'm not a playboy, I have good image along with company's goodwill. For being a playboy I need to get involve with girls and for haven sake, I hate them.

All of them, all are just actors who target guys and acts innocent.

One experience is enough, not any more.

"Khanna get me Kapoor's file"

There should be more reason for denying my proposal, I had offered 40% profit to them still they are not convinced.

Don't know what's cooking inside my father's friend's head.

"Sir, Shivaay sir is on line" Khanna offered me my mobile.

"Yes, Shivaay"

"Om, I can't go for Tomorrow's meeting. Can you please handle it?"

"Fine but I won't babysit your brother, Rudy"

"Don't worry, he won't trouble you. I wouldn't have to send him but you know him how stubborn he is. He wants to meet his fb friend on her engagement"

"Truly idiot, I don't know how you manage with him" I huffed in annoyance.

I'll check with dad about his old friend. I kept the Kapoor's file inside the drawer.

Next day we landed at Mumbai airport. Mostly I avoid coming to India that's why It's Shivaay's side to handle.

Surprisingly Rudy didn't trouble me, he was busy in his mobile with head phones in most of the journey so it was kind of peaceful.

Rudy left with me in the same car for his friend's engagement party. He was dressed up in brown sherwani looking like groom himself.

I don't know how can a person be so much close to a Facebook friend.

Maybe because you don't have friend.

No need to think and get all those bad memories.

The meeting was quite good and passed in couple of hours as soon as I reached car I received Rudy's car.

"To hotel" I ordered my drawer.

"Yes Rudy"

"Om, I'm so sorry to trouble you but I have left my gift in car. Can you please come to the venue with the gift"

He seemed worried for very small thing. I'm free for the day it won't hurt to help him

"Okay coming"

"Thank you so much" he replied in his happy voice.

"bye"

I smiled and I cut the call.

"To the venue where we dropped Rudy in morning"

I checked my mails and discussed my schedule with my PA over call. It was just a meeting so I didn't bring him with me here. He is married man with kids so it would had troubled him unnecessarily.

Once we reached venue, I thought to call Rudy out but thought in against of it, let's surprise him. He seemed happy with my yes maybe he will get more happy with my surprise.

I took gift bag packet and walked inside while dialing Rudy's number.

"Hello"

"Where are you?" I asked him.

"Are you inside the venue?" He seemed truly surprised.

"Wait I saw you"

It wasn't hard to locate him, there wasn't big crowd it looked like private function with important persons only.

"Thank you so much man" Rudy smiled at me

He introduced me to group of boys. I just smiled at them, I didn't even bother remember their names.

"Excuse us"

Rudy took me side and thanked me once again. I handed over him the gift.

"Would you like to meet my friend?" He asked me in his hopeful voice.

Though I was about to leave but I couldn't say no to him.

He introduced me to a girl in pink lehnga, she looked beautiful.

"Meet my best friend cum sister Priyanka"

Her name reminded me of her.

She smiled at me and I reciprocated it.

"Congratulations"

"Thank you so much"

She looked shy but she had a good bond with Rudy. Now I can feel why he was so adamant on this topic. She must means something to him.

Because of her name she reminded me of My Prinku.

I got a call and excused myself.

While going out I felt a different kind of feeling like I'm missing something very important.

Once I was done with call I walked towards Rudy. He was there still talking with priyanka and some other girl. I couldn't see her face. I was wondering why she seemed familiar. Rudy was blocking my view.

Gift fall from Rudy's hand and he went to pick it. I took the opportunity and looked at her.

It can't be possible. It was her. One side of my heart was so happy, while other filled with pain.

I gulped my emotions and joined them wanting to notice her reaction.

My mind wanted to leave, but my heart was making reason to stay.

"Om, meet her. She is Gauri. Priyanka's sister, and Gauri he is my friend Omkara"

She changed her name.

"Hello" she looked so normal like we are actually meeting for first time.

I so wanted to hate her but the sweetness in her voice betrayed me.

I couldn't reply her anything. She looked at me, more likely in my eyes to read me but she seemed confused.

I was lost in my thoughts in memories. I didn't realise when Rudy gave her gift and bid bye. Rudy and I left the party and were sitting in car. What Rudy was talking about how excited he was sounding.

The only thing caught my attention was Gauri's fiance.

"What did you say?" I asked in little loud voice.

My sudden angry reaction sacred him.

I gulped and tried to control my all crazy emotions.

"Priyan...

"No before that"

"Gauri's fiance"

"Gauri is engaged?"

"Yeah, she is elder that's why priyanka was waiting for her sister's engagement before getting engaged with her long term boyfriend"

"Turn the car back to Venue" I ordered

"But why? What happened?" Rudy asked in tension.

I ignored his question.

"They must have left or about to leave, we can meet them later why now?" He asked in confusion.

Luckily we wasn't far away so soon we were back to the same place.

As soon as car stopped I walked out and run inside.

"Om om" Rudy was behind me running.

I didn't care about anything. I need to find her and make everything right.

I found priyanka with her fiance along with a other man leaving. I looked around and get inside. I checked all the rooms.

When I thought I lost her once more I heard her bangles voice.I turned and saw her.

I couldn't control myself anymore I approached her and held her left hand.

I saw her engagement ring.

I looked up in her eyes. I can't place name to my feelings but I knew I was very much broken at that time.

The way she was looking at me confusedly, it reminded me our past. Annoyed from her acting of innocence.

I slapped her.

I heard a gasp and it was from Rudra.

There wasn't anyone else just we three.

"How could you do that with me?" I held her shoulder and shook her.

She seemed very shocked.

"It's not the right time" Rudy approached me.

"You stay away from it"

Gauri chocked in tears, when I saw her face. I immediately left her shoulders. Her face looked so sad, so broken.

Before I can hug and comfort her, Rudy took her away from me. I so wanted to stop them but my one part knew I can harm her just like I did right now so my that part let them go, filled with anger and hurt towards her I saw them leaving.

After some minutes of thinking when I went out I found only Rudy near our car talking on call.

I got inside the car and sat.

I knew I had promised to myself that I won't care for her. She doesn't even deserve my hate then why all this.

Why I couldn't control myself after hearing about her fiance.

Maybe I'm not ready yet to lose her again.

I cancelled my all upcoming meetings. I need to focus here otherwise I will lose something very precious. I can earn money my whole life but in this moment I can't lose my priceless Nisha.

No matter what she did in past, I can't give up on her. I will get her then I'll punish her.

After getting Gauri's file I can't help and miss my Nisha even more

Her details were fake just like her name. I angrily banged the table.

I closed my eyes and all those memories started to dance infront of my eyes.

Three years back

Kashmir

I took a break from all the things going around my mind and went to Kashmir. I wanted to feel peaceful and painting was only thing that could provide me that.

I wanted to visit all beautiful places, without any distribution and enjoy every natural scenery. So I arranged a car with driver so I nothing can distract me

On first day of my going out while I was admiring the beauty of nature. We had a small accident.

"Are you fine?" I asked the driver and walked out of car.

The driver looked fine he too joined me. The guy on bike had fallen on road. He must be hurt.

Driver helped him in standing.

He was a pizza delivery guy.

"I m so sorry" I said.

"I'm getting late" he said and tried to walk

"No please, you have wound on your head and I think your knee is hurted too" I noticed him limping.

"I'm okay"

"No you are clearly not okay. Please come with us. I'll take you to doctor"

"I don't have time" he was 20yrs stubborn guy

"Okay, let's do a thing. You go to hospital with my driver in car" I eyed his bike which looked not in that bad condition. My driver already had picked up it from road and parked it "I'll deliver your order"

Driver and the guy both looked at me in shock.

Their expression made me doubt myself that might they think I m not capable in delivering some pizza.

No I will prove them wrong

"Take him to nearest hospital" I handed some cash in hand of mu driver.

"Sir you don't need t.. ."

I cut the guy in mid sentence.

"But you need to go hospital, get going fast" I ordered my driver.

"Thank you sir" driver replied, he seemed touched with my actions.

He was already looking so scared, how can I had shout or blame him. This road with lot's of turn was hard to drive.

I pat his shoulder and took bike.

The guy handed me address.

"I was late for my last delivery that's why I was rushing" the guy said sadly.

"It's okay, now don't worry I'll manage"

Once they left I started the bike and drove to the address. I was new so I used google map and even asked to some people. I called and a girl pick the call she seemed little angry and was rude on call.

"I'll be there in 5 minutes"

"yeah, that's what you are saying from last half hour" she huffed.

"okay only more 5 minutes" she cut the call after giving dead line.

When I finally reached to the address.

I took out pizza boxes it was 4 pizzas. I hope they are safe. That accident must have damaged these too

As soon as I ring the bell.

A girl opened the door quickly like she was just waiting for me.

"You took pretty long time" she eyes From head to toe.

I was about to reply her when she shirked "one minute"

"It's your b'day right, that's why no uniform" she took my hand in her and pulled me in her home.

"I'm so sorry for being rude. Happy Birthday" she wished me once we were in her hall.

"seat" she took pizza from my hand and made me sit on sofa.

"Actually it's not like what you are thinking. I should go" I tried to got up but she blocked my way and made me sit again.

"I know you must be getting late for work but 5minutes won't hurt" she locked her hands on her chest and show me fake anger. her small smile gave it away.

"no it's not like that.."

she cut me off "silly me you must have taken half day to celebrate your birthday, do you have any plans for today?"

her face fell with the question I didn't know why but anything other than smile on her face hurt in my chest.

"no" I just replied in one word I was lost in her face. she had the most beautiful face I had ever laid eyes on. I thanked the driver for the accident I was willing to give him some bonus for that.

though I had dated some girls in past no one had ever made me this way, I never wanted to admire them the way I was doing now while she was talking continuously.

She brought a cake from her kitchen I guess.

"it's your birthday?" I asked in surprise.

"what else I was saying till now? thank god you came otherwise I was thinking I'll have to celebrate it alone"

I was just admiring her beautiful face, big eyes pink cheeks and her juicy lips which were moving but I didn't give damn what it was saying.

she seemed happy with my presence. I can't lie anymore.

"actually I had accident that's why delivery got late an..." before I can continue more she was sitting on sofa beside me and checking hands and face for any injury.

I forgot whatever I was about to say at that moment at that point I knew she owned worlds best heart otherwise who care for a delivery guy in this world.

"I'm fine" I took her hand in mine to stop her from checking my head.

for some unknown reasons I didn't wish to live her hand.

the florigen feelings were hinting something towards my heart but I chose to ignore and enjoy the moment.

I tried to clear her doubts but something was stopping me, I blow the candle and cut the cake. I sang happy birthday for her.

she was talking about gifting me some watch and was demanding watch for herself, not any branded just simple watch. she showed me on online site and even made me choose on for me.

I was wondering how can she be so cool with a stranger, it's definitely not safe for her.

While leaving her home I said the same to her.

"normally I don't do this but today I was in different mood and my heart didn't feel you a stranger" the way she said I knew the feelings were mutual.

I booked the same watch which she shown me but of a good brand for her, she deserves a gift and I knew her address so it was pretty easy.

I know I'm not updating my other stories, I m really very sorry for that.

I can't promise anything right now, just I m not able to write and when I finally felt like writing I end up writing this.

It's going to be little hatke story, stuck to it I hope you guys will enjoy the book as much I m already in love with it.
