Yuri and Astral arrived to the movie set as Yuri found a way in through the vents.

"Why is it that we come here?" Astral asked. 

"I have a hunch, let's just hope I'm wrong." Yuri simply said. 

She then found Nelson at the stage, and turned the lights on getting his attention. 

"I had my suspicions, but I did not want to believe it. Why are you doing this, Nelson?" Yuri asked. 

"Yuri, why are you here? I can not let you intervene in my work. I have a duty to fulfill to the Galaxy Queen." He said. 

Then Yuri spotted a number mark on one of his hands. 

"Astral!"

"Yes, he's possessed by one of the Numbers. We have to defeat him to break its hold." Astral nodded. 

"Nelson, Sparrow or whoever you are. I'm keeping that promise we made, so I challenge you to a duel!"

"Very well. I accept your challenge." Nelson grins. 

With that, they set up their equipment, duel disk and gazer, and the AR World jumps to life...

Augmented Reality Vision Link Established.

"Prepare yourself, 'Sparrow', I don't go down easy!"

We both call out that signature phrase:

"Let's Duel!"

"Since I challenged you, you take the first move." Yuri said.

"Gladly. I draw! First I summon, Beast-Warrior Puma!"

The monster brought out to play in Attack Mode, was noneother than that same anthropomorphic wildcat the ESPer Star Sparrow series based a character off of, Level Four with 1600 Attack Points. Astral recognized him right away too:

"I have seen him in action. Not only is he incredibly acrobatic, but he is a rather gifted swordsman."

"I end my turn by playing one card face-down!" Nelson finished.

"Now I'm up. Draw!" 

Looking at her cards, she was happy with what she got. 

"I think a change of scenery is needed now. I'll play the card I just drew, Royal Garden of Fragrence (Fanmade)!"

Then the scene changed to a vibrant spacious garden with various flowers and plants.

"Allow me to explain. With this card, all Plant, Fairy, and Earth Attribute monsters don't get destroyed by monster effects. And if you play monsters that are level 5 or bellow, you're out of luck because they can't attack. Plus, if you don't control any monsters when it's your turn, a player in question takes 800 points of damage." Yuri explained. 

"Then I'll have to make sure I have my allies out then." Nelson said.

"Maybe, but Puma won't be of much help. Now I play the Spell, Dance of the Flowers (fanmade)! If I have one or more plant monsters in my hand, I can summon a max of 3 of them right away. I summon Talyla, Princess of the Cherry Blossoms, Marina, Princess of the Sunflowers, and Chirubime, Princess of Autumn Leaves!" Yuri said as the elegant princesses appeared. Talyla and Marina in Attack Mode and Chirubime in defense mode.

"Three monsters? And they are all level eight!" Nelson said. 

"Impressive. They all have abilities that can push Nelson into a corner." Astral said.

"Yup. Plus, I'm sure you and Puma were taught to never raise a hand against a princess. That would be unheroic and barbarous. " Yuri smiled. "But that's not all. Talya's ability comes into affect. She gains 100 Attack Points for other plant monsters I control, bringing her power up by 200. And her allies can't be destroyed by card effects." Yuri said as Talyla now had 3000 attack points.

"I'll end my turn with a face down." Yuri said ending her turn.

"You're not going to Xyz summon?" Astral asked.

"Not yet. I'm waiting for one monster in particular. Besides, we need to know what Number we're up against." Yuri said as Astral nodded. 

Then it's my turn! I Draw! First, I'm releasing two of my Trions so I can Tribute-Summon! ESPer Star Sparrow is ready to crash this party!"

Said monster Nelson's current character is based off of smashes through the top of the stain glass window behind him onto the field (the only major difference in their appearances was that the monster was dominantly dark-schemed like an actual sparrow), Level Ten and packing a strong 3000 Attack Points!

And now I'll activate my Trion's special ability, which means I can re-stack my field by bringing back my other two Trions that are in my graveyard. Go, Lavish Return!"

And just like that, those two little red and green-sweater mage monsters come back from the dead to rejoin their blue-sweater friend's sides.

"Welcome back, you two. Next, I'm activating Space Ration from my hand! I can activate this card's power since ESPer Star Sparrow's on my field. Thanks to its effect, I can draw two new cards from my hand!"

He does so...

"And with that done, I Overlay my three Level One Trions! With these three monsters, I build the Overlay Network!"

"I XYZ Summon! Kneel before Number 83: Galaxy Queen!"

The Number to grace the field behind Nelson, was yet another mirror of the series characters, they being that dark beauty of a royal with their numeral symbol branded on her skin just underneath their jeweled choker necklace, Rank One in Defense Mode with 500 Defense Points.

"...Okay, summoning your mom? That's just weird."

Astral was in awe compared to Yuri's sweatdropped expression:

"The Galaxy Queen...She was revered as a good and noble leader, but then-"

His explanation was interrupted by Nelson as he calls out his next piece in his play.

"I equip the Galaxy Queen with Furious Max's Curse!"

The Number's form is surrounded by a dark aura...

"While under this spell's influence, the Galaxy Queen can't be destroyed in any situation!"

"It figures..." Yuri thought.

"And now, I use one Overlay Unit to activate the Galaxy Queen's special ability!"

One of the orbs of light dives into the royal's jeweled staff as Nelson explains this Number's special power in a Duel.

"The Galaxy Queen can grant every monster on my field with immortality until my next turn, and to deal damage even if your monster is in Defense Mode."

"Come. Follow me and gain the ultimate power!"

With a wave of the Queen's staff, the rest of the monsters on Nelson's side of the field are engulfed in their own dark aura as well...

"Well, this can't possibly be any worse for me, can it?" Yuri asked Astral.

"Correct. If any of your Plant Princesses are attacked, I am afraid it will not be very pleasant. Your Life Points will be damaged."

"Esper Sparrow! Attack Marina!" Nelson ordered as his doppelganger attacked the Sunflower clad female.

"And with that, I can use my trap, Barrier of Thorns (fanmade)!" Yuri said as her face down activated, revealing a wall of thorny vines. 

"What?!"

"I'll explain how this works. I can only activate this when you target one of my Plant Princesses for an attack. Not only does it negate the attack it ends your battle phase until the end of my turn." Yuri said.

Nelson growled as Esper Sparrow was halted and moved back. And he still can't attack with Puma, and Galaxy Queen was not strong enough either.

"I'll place a card face down and end my turn." 

"Alright, I draw. And it's one I need too. I summon, Plumerthia, Princess of Fushias (fanmade)!" Yuri said as a new level eight plant Princess arrived in vivid pinks and purples, with her in the center of a fuschia flower, dressed in flamenco dress. She had a fair 2000 attack points with a strong 2600 defense points. 

"Now I'll activate Plumerthia's ability. By cutting her attack points in half, she counts as two monsters." Yuri said as a Plumerthia became double. "And when that happens, I get to draw two new cards. Finally, I think ill Overlay my level Eight Marina Princess of Sunflowers and my two Plumerthia Princess of Fushias. With these three monsters, I build the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Time for a REAL Queen to appear! Bloom in the Radiance of the Night, Number 87: Queen of the Night!" Yuri said as a large Lily appeared. Then it bloomed more as the upper body of a pink haired woman wearing black armor appeared. The number 87 on her torso. She boasted a strong 3200 attack points and 2800 defense points. 

"Not bad. Even with Mad Max's Curse still in play, Queen of the Night can deal serious damage to Galaxy Queen." Astral said as Galaxy Queen looked tense at the new arrival.

"Now Plumerthia's second ability comes into play. When she's used as material for an XYZ plant monster, the ability of your Xyz monster is rendered null and void until your next battle phase." Yuri said as Queen of the Night raised her blade and a white blast of light hits Galaxy Queen's staff, stopping her effect on Nelson's other monsters, as they lost her boost.

"This does not look good." Esper Sparrow said. 

"I'll place the cards I just drew face down, and end my turn." Yuri said. 

"You're still not attacking?" Astral asked. 

"Not yet. In this case, we need to settle things with one blow, or at least cut off his capabilities." 

But then Yuri looked at Galaxy Queen who looked nervous. 

"While she may not have the strength, Galaxy Queen's ability will be a bother. Plus Nelson does not have his full team out yet. It will be a problem if he does. Then there's Nelson himself. Galaxy Queen wouldn't be having such a strong grip over Nelson if it hadn't been for his mom's influence......wait....." Yuri then said.

"That could help!"

She then makes a call through her duel gazer to Tori, who was currently sitting at her desk in her bedroom sfinishing some homework. Then...

(Brrriiiiing, brrriiiing...)

"Hm?"

(Tap, bing)

"Yuri? What's with the late call?"

"Tori! Listen, I need you, Flip and Bronk to do me a huge favour: Find Nelson's mom and bring her to the sea port studio."

"Huh? Who's Nelson?"

"Long story short, I'm dueling Nelson Andrews, aka The Sparrow at this very minute. You remember the woman who produces and acts in the show as Galaxy Queen? That's his mom! I need you guys to find her and bring her to the sound stage; there's something important she needs to witness!"

Sensing the seriousness laced in her friend's tone between the speedy words, Tori responds, "Got it! We'll come over as quick as we can!" 

Ending the call, Yuri looked at Astral.

"Okay, Astral. I know we need to get Galaxy Queen but we need to halt out attacks and eliminate her Overlay units long enough for Nelson's mom to get here." Yuri said. 

"Of course." 

In the course of the duel, Nelson summoned Garuda and Ironhammer, but Yuri was able to counter them with Ultimate Providence to take out Ironhammer and take the rest of Galaxy Queen's Overlay units with Overlay Capture.

Although Garuda took out Chirubime as she was forced into attack mode, her ability allowed Yuri to summon Tytannial, Princess of Camellias from her deck.

Then, Tori, Flip, Bronk, and Mrs Andrews appeared.

"Finally." Yuri said.
