The planet vibrated and her eyes opened.

The loud sound didn't appear welcoming to the queen. She got on her feet and sat on her throne. She closed her eyes and said something in an aggressive tone. As soon as she did, the other extraterrestrial creatures appeared in front of her and they all knelt down in front of their queen.  The latter was going to say something but she was intervened by Adam and Laticia.

"Did you hear that?" Adam asked.

"Was it you? Did you killed someone?" Laticia abruptly asked.

"Shut up. Whatever it was, it came from the surface. We are under ground. Maybe we collided with something. But what?" The queen said.

Suddenly we heard some disturbing noises. As if, someone was stepping on pieces of glass.

"We have intruders on the surface! Go and welcome them." Crystalina said with fury on her face.

"What do you mean. At least find out who are they." Adam said.

"We will find it out. Don't worry." The queen replied.

She got up from her seat and walked towards a corner. There was a huge crystal which appeared to be different from the whole place. Adam and Laticia followed her and stared at the crystal with amazement. They could clearly see their reflection in it. However, their reflection disappeared soon and to their surprise they could now see the surface of the planet. They saw the same place where they landed. It was still the same, completely made of crystal. They watched carefully and what they saw next left them mouth opened. They saw their colleagues. They saw their captain and Jake, all well equipped and armed. They also saw new faces whom they didn't recognice due to their space helmets.

"Well well. I can see that your kind has been able to reach me." Queen Crystalina said as she turned to face the siblings with a deadly look on her face.

"What....what do you mean?" Adam asked.

Crystalina approached nearer to Adam and grabbed his shirt. She stared into his eyes.

"You betrayed me. You called them here." She said in an aggressive tone.

Adam was shivering with fear.

"No. Leave him. We didn't call them. We were here all the time. How could we communicate with people on earth. Trust us, we did nothing! At least trust Adam! He loves you. But you always be unfair to him!" Laticia shouted, trying to control the situation and it worked.

The queen left Adam's shirt and held his hands.

"I'm really sorry Adam. I thought... I was just scared." The queen said.

Suddenly their conversation was disturbed by a very unfriendly noise.
It was the sound of gunshots.

In the mirror-like crystal, they saw how the humans were firing at the other extraterrestrial creatures. Alas, their arms couldn't harm any of the monsters.

Crystalina's lips curved into a wicked smile.

"Poor humans. They thought they would be able to fight my troop with these toys. How bad." She muttered.

Her level of confidence created fear in Adam and Laticia's mind. 

They watched the war which was ongoing on the surface. Adam and Laticia were scared. Suddenly, the heard a huge blast. It was so loud that their ear nearly exploded. Through the mirror-like crystal, they saw some of the men shooting at the giant creatures with a bazooka.

"Those are the army men." Laticia whispered.

"What? What's that? What is that on their shoulder?" The queen asked with worry.

Her worry kept on increasing when she noticed that her troop was being killed by the bazooka. Being fired by that, their body exploded and broke into pieces of rock.

"How to stop them? They are killing my troop!" The queen shouted in terror.

Adam and Laticia didn't reply to the queen. They felt thrilled when they saw that their colleagues were able to fight the extraterrestrial creatures. One by one, they were all turning into pieces of rock.

"No!" The queen shouted as she punched the mirror crystal real hard.

The crystal was not broken but it was cracked a bit. The sound of the cracking was echoed through the atmosphere. Adam and Laticia were terrified. The queen looked furious.

"It's all because of you!" She said with anger.

"No! How.... how..can you say...like...that..." Adam stammered.

The queen didn't say anything. She just stood there, saying nothing.

Adam and Laticia saw in the mirror that all the creatures were dead. They were now rocks. Everywhere was calm. They heard no sound.

A few minutes later, they heard someone screaming their names.

"Adam! Laticia!"

It was Jake. Jake was trying to search for them.

The queen quickly turned back and looked into the mirror.
She then shifted her eyesight from the mirror to the siblings.

"Look. He was here too when we came. But he escaped. We didn't call him. He came here on his own. We did nothing." Adam said as he stared at Crystalina with big eyes.

Crystalina approached near Adam.

"It's all over. They will kill me." She said in a low voice.

Adam didn't know what to say. He just looked at her.
Laticia looked at Adam I'm such a way as if she was asking what they can do to escape.

However, they saw the queen smiling.

They easily killed my troop. But they can never kill me. They have no idea of what I can do!" She said wickedly.

Laticia felt scared by her words. She gestured Adam to do something before the queen gets on her nerves.

Adam quickly stepped towards her and grabbed her hand.

"No. Listen to me." He said.

The queen looked into Adam's eyes.

"They have a bazooka with them. It is a very powerful weapon and they'll kill you. Do not fight them. I want you to stay with me. Please." Adam explained.

"What should I do then? Hide?" The queen asked.

"You told me that you can transform yourself into a human. You can do this. They will not know that you're another creature. They'll think you're a human and instead of attacking you, they will protect you. Then, you will always be safe, with me." Adam explained.

"Yeah! That's a great idea. You will go with us. You will live in a true world. Everyone will love you." Laticia added.

"I trust you Adam. But, this transformation will give me a lot of pain. I'm not ready for this." The queen answered.

"Do you love me?" Adam asked.

"More than anything else." Crystalina said.

"Then you can do it, just to be with me." Adam replied.

The queen was silent but soon they heard Jake shouting again.

"Okay okay. I'll do it." Finally, Crystalina agreed.

She walked towards Laticia and hugged her. All of a sudden a bright light was seen which caused Adam to close his eyes. Adam heard Crystalina moaning with pain. He heard sound of crystals crashing.

Finally, silence occupied the atmosphere.

Adam opened his eyes.

Crystalina was still hugging Laticia.

However, she was not the same. Adam could only see her back. She had long blonde hair and she wore a spacesuit which was similar to Laticia's costume.
She stepped back from Laticia and turned around.

Adam's mouth was left opened with shock. The extraterrestrial queen was now human.
