So, recently, I watched a video by NerdyAndQuirky (who I recommend you watch) on YouTube, and in this video, she mentioned that she thought Mary Poppins was a Time Lord. I thought about it, and she's right! Here are the reasons why:

1. First and foremost: that purse was bigger on the inside!

2. Her mode of transportation is really unusual (her umbrella).

3. Said mode of transportation is definitely sentient.

 4. She can travel to other worlds.

5. She has an extreme soft spot for crying children.

(That's all I can think of for the moment, but if you have other comparisons, please share them!)

Plus, it would totally make sense that her abilities come out as magical instead of sciency because she's working directly with children, not fighting in a war like the Doctor. The original TV show came out only a couple of years before Mary Poppins for crying out loud! There had to have been some inspiration.

So, yeah, now I believe Mary Poppins is a Time Lord. You can't talk me out of this one!
