Episode 6 part 1 A Problem With Confidence
"Hey Kenya!" A voice called the nerdish boy as he had just finished switching out his shoes on the semi-rainy day in the school entrance.
"Hm?" He looked up in confusion, but then changed his expression to a polite smile as he saw who'd addressed him. "Good morning Sia."
"Morning." She greeted back. "I just wanted to thank you again for finding Sophie."
"Thanks, but it was mostly Kurami trust me." He half chuckled.
"Right..." she trailed off nervously. "I tried to thank her and she just told me to leave her alone and walked away."
"Ha ha..." He fake laughed sweat dropping from his head. "Yeah well she isn't the friendliest person..."
"It's just a little weird because what you're club does is honestly really great." She complimented. "I have to say I was surprised when you didn't join The Student Council, with how much you used to help me and Satoru and all, but I bet you're glad you joined The Extra Credit Club right? I mean you get to be part of something that cool..."
"Yep... really glad..." he said keeping his eyes locked on the floor. His hand gripped onto the side of the shoe cubby he'd been leaning on for support earlier. His expression remained flat.
"Hm?" She leaned to try and see his face. "Is everything okay?"
He looked back up at her the smile returning to his face. "Everything's fine!" He then let go of the cubby making sure his shoe was on properly. "I have to get to class see you." He gave a small wave and brushed past her.
"Um... yeah... bye." She watched him go.
His smile fell flat again as he walked to class.

"So Kenya, Satoru told me earlier you're part of some sort of club?" One of his friends asked him at the lunch table later that day.
"Yeah... I just kind of joined it." He replied nonchalantly.
"You should have heard these guys theorizing on where you were this whole time." Another guy laughed. "They were all like maybe he's secretly dating a girl."
"What?" Kenya asked snapping back to the conversation. "Guys your kidding right? Trust me if I ever got a girlfriend I wouldn't shut up about her."
"Yeah... and if you did I know exactly who you'd want it to be too..." another muttered before getting elbowed in the stomach. "Ow!"
"Dude shut up!" Said elbower glared.
Kenya just looked away in annoyance as he sipped his drink.

Kaiya slowly gathered her things after the last bell had rang. She stood and pushed in her chair heaving a sigh. She looked out the window as the trees branches blew in the wind and the students in the courtyard hurried off to their clubs or to head home. She then gently grabbed her bag and left the room.
"Kenya?" She asked in genuine surprise when she saw him stood there against the wall across from her room. She'd honestly thought after him not showing up the previous day he'd stopped trying to be friends.
"You ready?" He asked casually getting away from the wall, but leaving his hands in his pockets.
"Um yeah." She replied quickly joining by his side as they walked to the club room.

"So now that we are like, an official club or whatever, does that mean there are gonna be a lot more customers now..?" Setsuna asked with an exasperated sigh as he leaned back against the edge of one of the windows in the club room.
"Maybe." Michiko responded setting the book she'd just finished aside. "That all depends on the other students."
"Great more annoying social interaction..." Kurami grumbled from her seat.
"But it's fun to help people, right Kenya?" Kaiya asked the black haired boy, who was currently at a desk looking out the window in the direction of the baseball field.
"Hm?" He looked back over to them suddenly. "Oh, yeah, fun."
"Spacing out on us there brainiac?" Setsuna asked, but he had genuine confusion, that could have, just maybe, been interpreted as worry, in his tone.
"Yeah buddy you feeling okay?" Atsuto asked from the other side of the room.
"I'm fine." Kenya sighed. "Just a little distracted."
Michiko got up and started to walk to the front of the room to place her book in the finished pile.
Before anyone could say anything else something was suddenly hurled through the window at high speed, causing it to shatter.
Michiko froze as whatever it was zoomed right in front of her, coming so close the slight breeze it created ran through her hair.
"Oh my god." Kaiya said as she was startled.
"Are you okay?" Setsuna suddenly left his perch by the window, which was now broken, and walked over to the stunned red head standing there with her book held in her hands.
"I'm fine..." she managed. Then after getting over the shock she gasped slightly. "You're bleeding!"
"What?" He asked and then brought his hand to his upper cheek only to see a small amount of blood on his knuckles after. "Oh yeah, must have been a piece of glass." He said nonchalantly. "I'm okay."
"It could have taken your eye out!" She continued to fuss.
"But it didn't. I'm okay." He repeated this time firmer.
"What was it anyway?" Kaiya asked timidly.
Atsuto had stood and walked to where the object had landed. He picked it up. "A baseball?"
"Sorry! Sorry! I'm so sorry!" A voice sounded from outside. A girl with purple died hair, pulled back in a tight high ponytail, carefully poked her head into the classroom window. "I guess my swing is even more powerful then I thought..." It was then that they noticed she was in a baseball uniform.
"Hinaga?" Kenya asked suddenly stiffening at the realization of who it was.
"Oh... hey Kenya-kun!" She smiled happily.
"H-hey..." he trailed off rubbing the back of his neck nervously. You could hardly tell, but a slight blush dusted his cheeks.
Then she gasped. "Oh my you have a black eye, don't tell me that was my fault!"
"No!" He shook his hands in front of him frantically. "This." He brushed his fingers against the bruise. "Was from someone else..."
"I really am sorry about the window, it was an accident..." Hinaga frowned.
"Well I suppose It happens." Atsuto replied walking over to the window. "Try not to upset yourself over it, alright?" He placed the ball back into the palm of her hand.
"Yeah... it's not like we can do much about it." Michiko sighed. Also walking over and examining the mess.
"HINAGA!" Her teammates called from a distance. "Hurry up over there we need to finish practice!"
"One second!" She called back. "Are you sure you don't want any help or something?"
"Nah." Kenya answered smiling at her. "We've got it under control. Just go ahead back to practice. We wouldn't want our baseball team captain to get too distracted before a big game."
She laughed. "It's not that big of a deal. You're still coming to the game Friday though right?"
"Wouldn't miss it for the world." He said in a soft voice.
"Great." She cheered happily. "I'll see you then Kenya. Bye Extra Credit Club!" She then ran back to the field.
"She knows us?" Kaiya asked.
"Satoru maybe told her." Kenya answered. "Shes a um... junior high friend of ours."
"Friend huh?" Setsuna muttered quietly.
Michiko elbowed him in the stomach lightly. "Well it seems the word about us really is getting out."
"Great..." Setsuna growled.
"Could you at least act nice once in your life?" Michiko rolled her eyes. "Come on let's go report the broken window."
"Oh~ the bookworm wants me to come along eh?" Setsuna asked with a teasing tone, and raised a brow.
"Shut up, lets go." She grumbled.

The pair had just reported the window, and were now walking back to the club room when Michiko suddenly stopped. She turned into an empty classroom.
"What are you doing?" Setsuna poked his head in the door.
"Just come in and sit down." She ordered before going to the corner shelf.
"Whatever..." he muttered walking in and sitting down. "You do realize you look crazy when you just bark orders with no explanation right Club President~?"
"And you realize how annoying your talking can get right?" She snapped back.
He chuckled. "Fair enough."
After shuffling around for a bit she turned around and walked toward him. She leaned down and wiped a damp cotton-ball across the cut on his face, before undoing a bandaid and putting it over the small wound. "You may say it's not that big of a deal, but it's still deep enough to get infected so keep it clean."
He blinked a few times seeming surprised. He glided his finger tips against the bandaid before watching her as she turned back around and threw the trash in the waist bin. He then composed himself and let a smirk tug at his lips. "Hey Bookworm?"
She turned to look at him.
He stood up pointing at the spot in his face. "Aren't you gonna kiss it better too?"
A slight blush dusted her cheeks, but she balled her fists and raised her voice at him. "You're impossible!" She then turned on her heal and walked out of the classroom.
Hey guys that'll be it for part one, I'll try to have more up soon, promise. So Kenya is acting a bit strange... hm... I wonder.... vote and comment, bye!
