Episode 5 part 1: Club Checkup
A boy stood in the office as he straightened the thin circular glasses that resided on his nose. He was holding a clip board checking of from a list.
Cooking Club check
Baseball Club check
Student Council check
And he continued down the line. Then he tilted his head as a particular club caught his eye.
Extra Credit Club
"Hm... I don't think I've heard of that one before." He muttered to himself. "Guess it's about time for a check up."
-&-
"Okay first up let's find out what this club does exactly." He walked through the main halls the sound of friendly chatter filling his ears. "Sia." He stopped a girl as she was walking past.
"Oh hey President." She smiled turning to him. "What are you doing out of the Student Council room this early?"
"Club research." He replied simply. "Actually I have to ask, have you ever heard of the Extra Credit Club?"
She looked confused as she pondered the question. "Mmm... no can't say that I have."
"Oh, I see. Thank you." He replied.
"No problem. See you in class." She waved and then continued on her way.
That's the third person who has no idea... he thought and frowned. Then continued with his work.
-&-
"Satoru!" A boy stood from his lunch table to wave him over.
He put away his clipboard and sat down to join them with his lunch. "Hey guys."
"What've you been up to? I feel like we haven't seen you all day besides for in class."Satoru's friend pointed out.
"Yeah, I've been trying to do research on the Extra Credit Club, have any of you ever heard of it?" He asked.
"Nope, doesn't ring any bells." They all shook their heads. "But hey don't work yourself too hard. I get that you love being Student Council President, but don't forget to make time for your friends, okay? Between you and Kenya I feel like our group is shrinking."
"Oh yeah where is Kenya? He hasn't been around much." Satoru pointed out.
"Don't know." He shrugged in response. "Although he did walk out of class with that girl the other day."
"Girl..? Oh yes that's right, the one from class C." Satoru recalled. "Her name's Kaiya I do believe."
"Well whoever she is, she just seemed to come out of nowhere. Apparently she has almost no friends, and no one really knows much about her." He suddenly leaned over the table abruptly. "You don't think her and Kenya are secretly dating do you?!"
"With Kenya..? No way." Satoru couldn't help but laugh.
-&-
After Satoru finished his meal he decided to go around asking various people the same question. "Do you know anything about this alleged Extra Credit Club?"
And not one person said yes.
This is troubling. He thought after he just asked a group of girls, and the bell rang. If they don't do anything impactful for the students, I'll be forced to make the club shutdown...
"Excuse me, but did you say the Extra Credit Club?" A girl asked in a timid voice. As her and her friend walked up.
He recognized them as Myū and Yuzu. They had been the talk of the school for a while. Everyone knew of Myū's sudden decision to break off her engagement to be with her female best friend.
"I did, do you know of it?" He responded.
"Actually..." Myū smiled to her partner. "We do."

Kenya wanted to eat lunch with his friends, but the second he left the classroom and down the hall, he was blocked from the cafeteria.
"Hey there Kenya." Kaibutsu sneered down at him, his two usual friends with him.
Kenya turned and ran, he hated doing it sometimes, but he felt he had no choice.
"Go that way!" He heard the jocks voice behind him, but he didn't dare to look back. He headed for his usual side exit. Just as he thought he'd been fast enough one of them turned the corner in front of him, stopping him in his tracks.
The other two grabbed him from behind.
"Let me go, you stupid pigs!" He struggled to free himself.
"No where to run now." Kaibutsu chuckled. "And no one will save you this time. Everyone's inside enjoying their lunch."
"What did I ever do to you?!" Kenya asked in frustrated confusion.
"You existed." He sneered shoving him into the wall wth force. "You're so called friend Setsuna sure has some nerve, fighting against us like that. He's lucky we didn't tell. With his history he'd be kicked out of school in a heartbeat."
"He isn't my friend." Kenya glared.
"Oh well that's good he won't mind when I kick your ass then." He laughed before bringing his fist to slam into Kenya's stomach.
Kenya coughed and was dropped to the ground, causing his glasses to fall off and skid a small distance away. He curled up into a ball clutching his stomach painfully and trying to catch the breath that was knocked out of him. "You can hurt me all you want, it won't change anything." He laughed weakly. "You'll still just be a no good unintelligent meathead."
"Shut up brainiac!" Kaibutsu yelled before kicking him in the same spot. "You're so annoying. No mater what we do you always have that silver tongue. I'll make you regret that."
Kenya had to bite his lip to keep from crying out as the severe pain stretched through his stomach, making his insides scream with sourness. He had to open his mouth again as he coughed out a small amount of blood. He then felt his body being yanked off the ground.
The two lackeys had once again pinned him to the wall. Kaibutsu stood in front of him.
"You have no right to talk like that, you're a useless nothing." He then brought his elbow back and punched Kenya right in the face.
The beating continued for a bit before Kaibutsu suddenly yelled out in pain.
Kenya looked over to see through blurry vision.
"I thought I told you to leave my clubmate alone dumbass! Not listening to me is a really BAD idea!" Setsuna screamed as he had Kaibutsu's arm bent behind him.
He. Looked. Pissed.
"Ah! Ow! You're gonna break my arm man, stop!" Kaibutsu yelled.
"You'd deserve it you piece of shit! Preying on people weaker than you, not to mention ganging up on him. How could someone get more pathetic! If you want to fight someone do it as a fair fight! Otherwise your nothing but a sniveling coward!" Setsuna yelled bending the other male's arm back even more, causing him to cry out in pain again.
One of his friends let go of Kenya and went to help his leader.
Setsuna kicked him back causing him to fall back into the wall, hitting his head slightly on the brick. He groaned and rubbed the spot of his head as he slid down the wall.
Kenya fell to the ground as the other let him go, and went to help.
But Setsuna finally let go of Kaibutsu's arm and shoved him hard into his approaching partner in crime. Causing them both to tumble to the ground roughly. "Stay the hell away from me and my club, or I'll hurt you in so many ways you'll wish you could cry out for mercy!"
The three boys got up as quick as they could with their new injuries and ran away from the scene.
Kenya used his arms to try and push himself to sit up, but stumbled.
"Kenya..." Setsuna quickly kneeled down catching him lightly with his hand.
"I'm fine." The boy replied flatly before pulling away from him and sitting up properly, leaning back against the wall for support."
Setsuna picked up his peer's glasses handing them to him before joining him by sitting next to him. "Honestly those guys are such assholes... you don't seriously think I'm like them do you?"
"Well... originally yes..." he replied taking his glasses and putting them back on, making the wold automatically more clear. "But that opinion has kind of changed. I heard about you around school, and thought you were just a no good delinquent who beat people up all the time, but now at least I know you have half the decency to make it a fair fight. I guess I judged you based on other people's word. You're still a no good delinquent though, even after meeting you." He half joked, actually managing a small smile.
"Ha... as honest as ever." Setsuna shook his head. "I guess I judged you to. You aren't just some geek. You actually aren't afraid to speak your opinion. I can respect that."
"Gee thanks..." Kenya trailed off sarcasm lacing his voice. "But still I shouldn't of made assumptions based on what others said. I'm sorry."
Setsuna widened his eyes slightly and looked over to him.
"What's wrong?" Kenya asked in confusion. "You look surprised."
"Nah, I'm just not used to people apologizing to me." Setsuna sighed shoving his hands in his pocket and looking up to the sky.
"Oh..." Kenya trailed off. He began to think of all the possibilities that statement could hold. He was about to ask about it, but a voice interrupted.
"Kenya. Setsuna." The principle was standing there and he didn't look amused. "In my office, now."
Hey guys, yup I'm ending it there. XD don't worry I'll try to get the next part up soon. They're settling their differences, yay! Tell me what you thought. Vote and comment, bye!
