Episode 3 part 2: when we all come together

The next day at school had started and the club was meeting up in the room, since they officially didn't meet up yesterday.

Kenya had just gotten out of the classroom, and was going to head out toward the back corner of the school, but when he looked up from zipping his bag he saw the familiar trio of jocks waiting for him just a bit down the hall. He automatically turned tail and ran.

"Hey!" The leader called as they ran after him.

Kenya tried he really did as he ran out of the side exit, and tried to get to the courtyard, but it wasn't long before they caught up with him. He felt someone grab the back collar of his school blazer just as he got out the door, and the next thing he knew he was being slammed against the back wall.

"Kaibutsu let me go!" The small nerd tried to struggle free, but it was no use.

"What's the matter Kenya? No slick comeback or insult? What happened to that silver tongue?" Kaibutsu growled in his face. "There's no getting away from it this time, we're gonna make you regret the day you were born."

Meanwhile...

Setsuna sighed as he carelessly draped his bag over one shoulder, walking through the courtyard toward the section of the school where the club was held. He couldn't help but let his mind wander a bit to last night.

"Setsuna... You do know eventually you can start trusting people again, right?"

"Tch." He shook his head trying to push away the thought. "Yeah right..." he muttered, before feeling a sudden emotion of despair twinge in his chest. He slowed his walk to a stop looking down at the pavement. "Damnit... pathetic, getting worked up about something so stupid..." He looked up when a familiar voice reached his ears.

"Kaibutsu let me go!"

Setsuna looked around the corner to see the school's top three jocks surrounding none other then Kenya, having him pinned against the wall. He couldn't hear much except:

"We're gonna make you regret the day you were born."

He sighed and approached the scene. "Oi! What the hell are you idiots doing?"

"Ooh hey Setsuna, perfect timing you can watch us beat up the braniac here." Kaibutsu said with a hateful chuckle.

"Not interested." Setsuna crossed his arms with a scowl. "Now would you kindly put my club-mate down, and before you get too confused because your brains are the size of peanuts, that wasn't exactly a request."

"Oh yeah, stop us then." The jock challenged before pulling his arm back directing it towards the small Nerd.

Kenya squeezed his eyes shut preparing for the pain, but flicked them open again when he felt Kaibutsu being ripped away from him. The next thing he knew Setsuna was standing between him and his bully.

"I told you to back off!" The rebellious boy growled shoving Kaibutsu back. He had to bite back the smirk from forming on his face. He didn't really mind letting out his repressed emotions and anger, especially on such assholes.

"Oh your fucking getting it now." The alpha jock swung for Setsuna, but he quickly dodged and retaliated with a hard punch to the face that completely floored him.

Kenya stayed glued to the wall watching with wide eyes.

Kiabutsu's buddies tried to team up on the male, but despite them being bigger, Setsuna was a much better fighter. He got some hard blows in, while he was barely hit, barely. Soon enough the jocks gave up and ran.

Setsuna stood wobbling slightly and fell back against the wall to catch his breath, and wiped the blood that was dripping from his nose on his sleeve. "What assholes." He muttered after them before turning to Kenya. "You okay?"

"Like you care..." Kenya muttered a shadow covering his face as he let his bangs fall over his eyes. "You're just like them..." he then grabbed his things, that he had dropped earlier, and silently walked to the clubroom.

Setsuna got to the club last not minutes behind Kenya, who was slowly removing his blazer.

"Oh my Kenya are you okay?" Kaiya said in worry, running up to the boy who now had prominent purple bruises on his pale arms from where Kaibutsu had been holding him.

"I'm fine." He relied emotionlessly, trying to rub away the soreness.

"What happened to you?" Michiko asked widening her eyes at Setsuna's bleeding nose, before getting a tissue out of her bag and handing it to him.

"Nothing you need to worry about." He took it and cleaned his face.

After that everyone settled into their usual places. It wasn't long before the door swung open with a slight creek, causing a few of them to jump. A fellow student ran in closing the door halfway and backing up slightly. She was panting a little from her sprint and when she saw them she almost looked like she was going to have a heart attack before she calmed. "I'm sorry I didn't know people were actually in here."

"Is everything okay?" Atsuto asked in confusion.

"Umm..." she looked toward the door nervously. "Yeah, I'm-"

She was cut off by a person calling from the hall. "Myū?"

"Oh no." She panicked before hiding in the corner. They all waited for the guy to pass before Atsuto got up to close the door and who they now assumed was Myū stood from her hiding place to face them. "I'm really sorry for the interruption." She still seemed a bit shaken up.

"It's no problem at all." Atsuto told her before offering her a seat which she sat down in to calm herself.

"Who was that you're hiding from?" Kaiya asked her.

"Oh... he's my fiancé." She replied with a kind smile.

"Fiancé?" Michiko asked. "Aren't you both a bit young?"

"Yeah, and why were you hiding from him then?" Kenya questioned.

"Well you see our parents arranged the marriage. We both come from higher up families with very respectable names, so naturally we must marry respectable people. I'm avoiding him though." Myū explained. "I mean he's not a very bad persons but..." she trailed off looking down sadly. "I simply don't love him."

"Why marry him then?" Setsuna asked acting casual. "Who cares what your parents think, or how great your family name is? Do what you want to do."

"I'm afraid it isn't that simple. I love my parents I really do, and I know they want whats best for me but..." she let her face fall into her hands as she shook her head. "I just really don't know if I could marry without love, and  I really don't want to live some sort of lie the rest of my life. At the same time family is everything to me. I could handle if dishonor came upon us. Now I just don't know what to do."

"It's going to be okay." Atsuto assured her patting her back lightly. "Luckily you stumbled across the Extra Credit Club! We're going to help you out!"

"You are?" She asked.

"We are?" The rest questioned not seconds after.

"Of course or my name isn't Atsuto Kutomari!"
