Episode 1 part 2: the club's in session

Setsuna stood in front of the classroom numbered 16B. He frowned and looked down at the paper in his hand to make sure it was the right place. Sure enough he was, it said it right there in black and white.

Extra Credit Club- room 16B

He sighed. The only reason he chose this extra credit club was because it didn't have a description, and he figured he could just play it off and do nothing the whole time. What he wasn't expecting was for the room to be back in the dark corrner of the school that no one knew or cared about. It wasn't that he was complaining he liked being away from the crowd, but it didn't even seem like anyone was there. He knocked on the door anyway, and walked in. "Hello is anyone here?"

A girl was sitting in the back of the classroom with a green book in her hand. She looked up seeming very surprised to see him there. Her ginger hair curled down to just below her shoulders, and her bangs went down barely over her soft green eyes. She blinked twice giving him an odd stare.

"Is this the Extra Credit club?" He asked seeming bored. He looked around the empty classroom, and then back at her.

"Uh... Yes it is." She replied sitting up.

"So are the other members late, or is it like.... just you?" He asked.

"Oh uh well it's just me." She replied, and then looked back down at her book.

"What is it exactly that this club does?" He asked her.

"Nothing, this club does nothing." She replied seeming to get increasingly annoyed by his talking. She wanted to read in peace.

"Perfect." He smiled smugly and sat in the seat in front of her. He propped his feet up on the desk across from him. "So tell me something, how can you have a club with just one member?"

"Easy you lie." She replied simply. "I made this club to find a quiet place to study, and read. No other real members were supposed to join." She glanced at him in annoyance, and then back down at the book. "The principle is too busy with other matters that he won't check up on one little club that no one knows about."

"So you made up this whole thing and no one knows about it?" He asked. "Seems pretty devious for a good girl like you." He smirked.

"Haven't you ever heard of not judging a book by its cover?" She snapped. "Now seeing as you can't  take the hint I would really like you to be quiet so I can get back to actually doing something productive with my time, and that doesn't involve talking to you."

"Ouch harsh." He replied with a sarcastic cringe.

The door opened again and kurami walked in. She was kind of short, and had slightly wavy brown hair that stretched down far past her shoulder. Her blueish green eyes looked over at them.

"This is the extra credit club I assume?" She said simply.

"Yep you assume correctly." He smiled smugly then he turned back to the red head. "Wow for a fake club it seems to be getting a lot of new members in one day hm?"

She glared at him, but then turned her attention toward the door as once again it opened. Kenya walked in. "Hey I signed up for the extra credit club." He explained.

"Well you're in the right place." Setsuna snickered. Enjoying how many others were crashing the bookworms silent party.

"Hello!" A girl chirped walking in to the room. She had short strawberry brown hair that was cut into a cute looking bob. Her big brown eyes sparkled with hope, but she seemed kinda nervous. She wore a grey buret and carried a light purple school bag. She bowed deeply. "My name is Kaiya thank you so much for allowing me into your club."

"And my name is Kenya." The slightly nerdy looking boy replied with a small nod instead of a bow.

"I am Kurami." The shorter girl greeted emotionlessly.

The girl in the back of the room sighed and closed her book in defeat. "I am Michiko, the founder of the club."

Kaiya noticed Setsuna sitting there, and seemed slightly scared. With his reputation no one could really blame her. "S-s-Setsuna? B-but I wouldn't think you would be into this kinda thing."

"Nah but I'm forced to do it so whatever." He sighed leaning back.

"Why did the rest of you join. This wasn't supposed to be a legitimate club.

"Oh well call me nerdy, but I thought it sounded kinda fun." Kenya rubbed the back of his neck.

"Oh I-I just joined because I wasn't confident enough to sign up for the other clubs." Kaiya looked down at the floor with a slight blush.

Michiko sighed. "Well you all already signed up and made it official, so there's no backing out now I guess."

"I mean this couldn't be too bad. Maybe we can all become friends and-" Kaiya started before she was cut off.

"No." Kurami said harshly her attitude suddenly changing from seemingly shy to completely cold. "I'm only here because I have to be. I have no intention in making friends."

"I agree." Setsuna replied.

"I am doing this to keep my new guardians off my back, so from now on we are club mates and nothing more." She sat down in a chair without another word.

"Oh ok." Kaiya said looking down sadly.

"Wow that was a little harsh." Kenya muttered.

"It's just the way I feel." Kurami replied.

Suddenly someone burst into the room causing the door to fly off its hinges, and the caramel haired boy to literally fall into the room.

"The door!" Michiko shouted angrily.

"Whoops sorry!" The boy exclaimed loudly, and shot up from the floor. The bright smile never left his face. I wasn't really looking where I was going, and I've always been kinda clumsy!"

Sweat dropped from their heads. "Even if you are clumsy how would you even manage to knock down a door?" Kenya muttered.

"I'm Atsuto nice to meet all of you!" He greeted happily. "Say?" He looked around the room curiously. "What is this anyway?"

"Well technically it's the extra credit club." Setsuna replied with attitude.

"Oh cool!" The boy exclaimed. "I haven't heard of that club before. I've joined the manga club, the swim team, arts an crafts, mathematics, almost every club this school has, but I'm not very artistic or athletic, so it didn't work out well. Hey, how about I join this one, maybe I'd be good at it!"

"Well if you want to we can't really stop you, but-" Michiko started to explain but he ignored her.

"Yay!" He exclaimed happily. "So what do you guys do here?"

"Apparently nothing." Setsuna muttered.

"Well that's not very fun." Atsuto sat down on the ground his face was a mix of a pout and a ponder. There was a short silence. "I know, I'll be in charge of livening this club up! The Extra Credit club will go down in history as the most fun club ever!" He pumped his fist enthusiastically.

"Uh..." They all said in union just staring at him. No one really knew what to say to the off the wall boy in front of them.

He just laughed idiotically not ever even noticing the awkwardness in the room.

Fate... Such a funny thing. It can cause your life to go into a downward spiral of darkness and despair, or it can crash into your life and bring something you never even knew you needed. In the case of these six misfit teens, you have to wonder. How will their fate affect each of them?

Stay tuned for episode 2!!!

Hey guys again XD. I'm going to repeat I would love some comments. I also have some questions that i'd really appreciate if you answered.

Are you excited for more?

Who's your favourite character so far?

Do you like the characters, and think their relatable, or no? If not why?

Also is there anything I should change? Don't be too mean i'm sensitive XD, but seriously some constructive criticism would be nice. If not then I won't change anything.

If you answered the questions thanks so much, it will help a lot. Vote and comment, bye!
