"Everything happens for a reason" is a saying very true.
Cause the reason to take the decision I did was to officially meet you.

Day by day, I got the opportunity to know you a little more.
And before I knew it you were the best friend I could ever ask for.

You know all my flaws, yet still continue to accept me all together.
There wasn't a day that I doubted that we'd always be there for each other.

You knew exactly when I hid my pain behind a weary smile.
I always felt comfort around you. Your company's worthwhile.

Even though it's amiss that to fight we're sometimes bound.
I can always count on you with me to stick around.

"Friends come and go, but family's forever" was a little confusing to me.
But it makes more sense now, because to me you're family.
