"may i sit here?," you look up from your papers and book to meet a pair of gunmetal blue hues staring at you with anxiousness. you recognize him as a boy who always sit in the library over the weekends for hours with his books and laptop.

today the library, however, is full of people and you have to go up to the second level to get a table.

nodding your head, he gives you a grateful smile before pulling a chair diagonally away from you. your table is available for four people but you only occupy 3/4 of the space.

"i'm really sorry. the table is a huge mess," you apologize before taking the books you are not using at the moment and stuff them inside your bag, giving some space to him.

"it's okay," he chuckle, eyes skimming over your stuff. "thank you for letting me sit here. it's unusually pack today," he comments.

"i know," you agrees. "maybe because examinations is around the corner,"

he takes out his stuff ㅡ his books and laptop, just like you. his eyes flicker towards yours and a shy smile appear.

"i'm sorry for not introducing myself earlier. i'm akaashi. akaashi keiji. let's meet each other at the library again next time, if you want to,"
