Extra Look Into The Future.
Extra Look Into The Future ::: RYDER.
I peck her lips as she giggles. A grin present on both of our faces, maybe because of the alcohol, maybe because of the situation we're in.
Callie and I are a little bit tipsy after returning from a friend's of a friend's of a friend's party or maybe my friend's party? I don't know.
I go to kiss her again, "Shh.." She places her pointer finger on my lips and I kiss it, causing her to quietly laugh as her back leans against the front door of her house.
Her brown eyes glassy as the moonlight shines on them. I push her strawberry blonde hair out of her face, cupping her cheek as I lean down. The taste of alcohol is present in both of our mouths. I tease her, wetting her bottom lip with my tongue. Slowly kissing her, I make the moment last longer. Callie whimpers as she tries to speed up the kiss and I don't let her. She resolutes to her hands going to my hips pushing them against hers.
I pull away, my willpower hanging on a thread.
"Keys," I tell her, kissing her ear.
Her hand fishes for them in her purse as she pecks my jaw and neck.
"Got them." She waves them in front of me with a smile before turning around to unlock the door.
She pushes the key through the lock, turning the knob. Opening the door, we make our way in.
I remove my jacket, tossing it on the floor as Callie removes her purse throwing it next to my jacket.
She has this gleam of mischief in her eyes as she walks closer to me. Her skin looks more pale in the dark, flawlessly white. Her legs look long in her mid-thigh length dress. Her shoulders are exposed as only the thin straps of her dress hang from them. Her arms go around my neck and I pull her up, my hands resting on her bum.
She nuzzles my neck, peppering it with kisses. She sucks on the sensitive skin and a groan escapes me as I throw us down and into the living room couch.
Callie squeaks and then laughs at our sudden drop.
I take a few seconds to take her in. Even though everything is dark the moonlight shines through the windows, casting a faint glow over us and the rest of the room. My hand goes to her thigh, riding up her dress as I continue to move my hand upwards. I kiss her shoulder, dropping the strap of her dress from her shoulder with my mouth. Callie moans her hips, tilting upwards wanting to meet mine.
I smirk against her skin, before moving my face to be above hers.
Just as I'm about to kiss her lips and increase the pace of our activity, the lights to the second floor hallway come on. I quickly pull away from her and sit on the couch. The quick action making me dizzy.
Callie's dad appears at the top of the stairs.
"Fuck," I murmur, dropping my head down and rubbing my face.
"D-Dad." Callie stutters, wide-eyed and just as surprised as I am. "I didn't know you were home."
He crosses his arms, leaning against the structure. "Clearly."
To say we are now sober would be a lie, but alcohol has definitely taken the backseat now that we realize we're not alone and could potentially be in trouble. Dad and the rest of band were supposed to be in New York and not be back to California until tomorrow morning, which meant Callie's parents weren't meant to be home either. Ace, Callie's dad, plays the guitar for Dad and Mom and Amelia, Callie's mom, are best friends.
Basically, we've known each other our entire lives. Albeit, Callie and I started dating when we were sixteen. Both of our parents didn't frown at our relationship. Honestly, they probably prayed for it every night. To be honest, it was something inevitable, due to the amount of time we always spent around each other and the great friendship we formed from a young age. However, I'm sure Ace is not happy about my relationship with his daughter right now.
I stand up from the couch, Callie reaches for my hand. "I guess, I should head home."
"I didn't see your car in the driveway." Ace points out.
"Um..." I stuff my free hand in my pocket. "We had a few drinks so we took a cab."
"I'm sure Jake and Sky will be pleased to find out you got buzzed when you're not even twenty-one."
"Dad!" Callie frowns, mad at her father's cold answer and scold.
I don't blame him for being mad at me and treating me more indifferently than usual. Ace and I have a good relationship so him being mad right now says a lot of what Callie and I were doing now and tonight. I was basically about to have sex with his daughter on his living room and I have somewhat violated his house's rules.
"Don't test me, Callie."
As I look back at her to silently tell her to relax, I can see the anger in her eyes hinting that she'll do just that anyway. Callie doesn't talk back which makes me think it's the alcohol and the fact that we got interrupted from what she had planned that is giving her the courage.
"Like you didn't have drinks and fooled around when you were eighteen."
"Callie!"
"What's going on?" Amelia appears in a bathrobe next to Ace.
"Our daughter seems to think she can drink and do whatever the hell she wants just because she's eighteen and thought she was home alone."
"Go back to bed." Amelia kisses his cheek, pushing him to the hallway. "I'll handle it."
Amelia comes down the stairs and Callie pulls me down to sit back on the couch with her, still holding my hand in hers. She rubs her thumb over the skin of my hand.
It's the first time this happens, but I definitely don't like it and don't want it to repeat; Callie disrespecting her father because of me is not something I want to provoke.
Amelia sits down in a love chair across from us. She turns to Callie, "First of all, you know better than talking back to your father. We raised you better than that." Callie keeps her head down although Amelia's tone is somewhat soft and not harsh. Her eyes fixed on my hand as she lazily plays with my fingers. "Second, next time you disrespect either of us, you're grounded. Eighteen or not. Got it?"
She nods, raising her head. "Yeah."
"Look," Amelia sighs. "I don't necessarily have a problem with you having a drink as long as you do it responsibly. Granted, I rather you do it at home or a family friend's house than a party.
"The other thing... As your parents who saw you grow up, we don't...we don't want to hear, much less witness--"
I'm silently chuckling when Callie elbows me with rosy blushed cheeks. She knows we won't ever live this down.
"Mom." Callie interrupts her, cringing.
"I get it that you don't want the talk again, but please keep in mind the rules and things we told you when you first had it. At least, for your father's sake."
Once our conversation falls into silence, I kiss Callie's hand. "I should go home. It's almost three in the morning and I'm sure you guys want to rest."
Amelia shakes her head and gives me a small smile. "No, you're free to stay. I don't feel comfortable letting you go so late. I'll text your mother and let her know."
I nod. "Thank you and I'm sorry about tonight."
"Since it's the first time it happens in the two years you guys have been together, I'll let you guys go free with a pass."
Amelia says goodnight before going upstairs. Callie stands up and picks up her purse and my jacket, before taking my hand and leading me upstairs to her room. She stumbles a bit and my free hand instinctively goes to her hip.
"Who knew I would still be drunk after that." She laughs.
I shake my head, a small smirk of amusement in my lips.
This is definitely not the first time we have been somewhat stupid with our actions, but I love it when we are just because we get the chance to see each other at our silliest, especially Callie she tends to be quite a character.
She's my first taste at love -- silly, embarrassing moments and all -- and I hope she's my last.
