Max sat in a dog crate as the rest of the flock was stuck in one as well in the cold metal room. They where back at the school. Fang and nudge... and angel... she was only across from max, but she was alive. Lance was also in a crate across from max as he sat in his cage with his back against the bars and his hand to his chest.

He just stared at the ground as she could see his face... there was a large three claw deep gash down his face, over his eye brow and just missed his blue eyes as it was diagonal. They thought lance bled out as he took the hit that could've killed Keith.

But here he was, in the place he never wanted to come back too. Fang felt guilt seeing lance was barely keeping his breath at ease, he was hyperventilating quietly to himself. The gash on his face would defiantly scar, it could get infected.

Keith was no where to be seen.

But Angel was alive. Max's weakness, but also her motivation to keep going. They pushed their fingers through the sides of the crates as max was desperate to just touch her baby of the flock.

"At least they gave you a large crate, I'm in a medium," angel whispered. Max felt her heart shatter at this little girls bravery. She was ashamed she let it go this far, Angel being beaten and it was visible, Keith missing, lance... them getting caught.

"It's not your fault..." angel told her reading thoughts.

"Is lance okay?" Max asked quietly. He wasn't her family but he looked so scared, for all they knew he was alone in this nightmare. Pidge escaped and his rock, Keith, was missing. Where was that damn Keith?!

"His mind is frantic, it's kinda scary... I can hear screaming, but they're not just his screams..." angel whispered with wide blue eyes slightly afraid of him.

"Max has been here before, he's not normal like us," angel gasped covering her mouth.

"We're not normal sweetie," max smiled at her softly.

"No no no he's from Voltron," she whimpered slightly and fangs head shot up as lance heard, his nails dug into his skin and drew a little blood.

They all jumped seeing erasers come in as there were feathers and fists trying to fight back. Keith. He was snarling rabidly as he had chains along his wrists and neck.

He swiped his nails... no he had claws, Keith swiped his claws across the erasers face and was dropped. He rolled to his feet with his wings high as he growled at the erasers. Max's eyes widen in horror seeing Keiths eyes where tinted yellow as his violet eyes were slim like slits, erasers... instead of black and red it was purple and yellow.

"K-Keith!" Lance rasped finally speaking and the hybrid looked at his family as he saw lance alive and he wound.

"Sorry I accidentally got a good hit on your boyfriend," Ari smirked walking in and grabbed Keith by the throat. He raised the boy in the air and threw him into a cage.

"They want blue next," Ari snarled at the other erasers. Keith screamed in rage as lance was full on shaking in fear as he was ripped from his cage and forced onto the ground with a grunt.

"God he's pathetic, I could easily beat him and earn that title, Voltron," the eraser kicked lance in the chest and the boy gasped.

"Piss off you mother fucking rung of the pack!" Keith screamed in a voice no one of the flock has heard before.

Angels eyes widen as she could hear someone, she knew immediately who as there was no voice of their mind she couldn't read. Max saw angel terrified as she thought it was the abuse in front of them. She was so wrong.

"That's enough," a man barked at the eraser and they stopped as lance groaned on the floor.

"N-no..." Lance looked up at who it was. "Jeb?"

Jeb looked down at the boy as lance got to his knees with a dark glare.

"Hello lance, it's nice to see you boys again," Jeb smiled at him a little. Suddenly lance kicked under him and was about to strike him again but screamed when Ari grabbed him and bit his teeth into his arm.

"Ari enough!" Jeb looked at them as lance held his arm with shocking pain. It was memories coming back.

"The doctors want to run tests, you will be punished for unnecessary wounds on him," Jeb glared a little as lance was forced to his feet and looked at Keith wide eyes.

Lance was about to say something but a needle was jabbed into his neck by a woman who was with Jeb, lance fell limp immediately but erasers grabbed his arms and dragged lance out ignoring Keiths threats and roars.

Jeb walked to max as she had disgusting horror while her heart raced watching the man crouch in front of her cage calmly.
